A delightful stay! The waterfront cottage is located near various amenities. A nice shopping center. The train station is a 10 min walk away, so you are within 20 minutes in Amsterdam and Zaanse Schans 15 minutes. The Strand, Volendam and Alkmaar are all a short distance away. You have to take care of breakfast yourself, but for delicious sandwiches you can go to the local bakery, which is within walking distance. Upon arrival, you will find various drinks in the fridge. In short, a wonderful accommodation!

Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

Nestled in a quiet, picturesque alley in the heart of Haarlem, it’s conveniently located near excellent restaurants, supermarkets, and key attractions. I especially loved the vintage jukebox and arcade machine in the room! The skylight in the ceiling was a fantastic touch, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that even the curtains and lights could be controlled via an iPad. Our hosts, Marieke and Rico, were incredibly friendly and helpful—truly a rarity in the Airbnb world nowadays. Overall, this is possibly the best Airbnb in Haarlem. I highly recommend it!

Excellent stay at Karin's, in a nice, spacious, very clean apartment. The private terrace is an asset. Communication was excellent and Karin was always very responsive. The seaside resort of Noordwijk is 10 minutes away by car. Be careful if you are a light sleeper, there are many animals at Karin's (horses, chickens, dog) and they wake up early!

We booked the house because it appealed to us from the reviews. Our expectations were far exceeded. We arrived in a house where we immediately felt at home. In the kitchen there is everything you need for daily use. Everything is very clean and tastefully decorated. Communication with Saskia was easy. We rented the house with a friendly couple and went home after a week very well recovered. We can recommend the house without hesitation. We would like to come back next fall. Wanting to take a VAN + Bike getaway in the Netherlands , Margriet's place immediately interested us. It is well located (North Sea, Keukenoff, Amsterdam, Delft ....,) ,in a very quiet area. It is equipped with all the essentials, clean .... and totally matches the description made. We were very well received by Margriet who gave us a check-in gift and also a departure gift. Despite the language barrier, we were able to communicate easily. It felt very available and very discreet at the same time. We enjoyed our stay. Mireille and André

Great apartment with good amenities in an optimal location to the beach and the promenade. Very quiet. Very friendly and nice contact. Loving decor with small touches. Kitchen with coffee machine. Coffee, jam were even included. Parking nearby. However, we did not move the car during our stay. Everything was good and easy to reach by bike and public transport. If there was anything to complain about, a few hooks for jackets inside would be good. You don't have a sea view from the apartment, but just around the corner and you were there. Conclusion: We were here in the area for the first time. If we want to come here again, we will be happy to come back to this apartment.
