Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Gulf Islands

We had a wonderful stay! We loved that there are trails accessible by foot from the cabin. (Just walk up the gravel road about 3 minutes.) We discovered that a great morning routine for us was to have coffee, walk through the forest, enjoy the morning light on the ocean, and head back to the cabin for breakfast. Peaceful and relaxing :) Henny is a great host. She shared a ton of wonderful information about places to go and yummy restaurants on the island. The cabin itself is cozy, charming, and quiet. The bed is comfortable, a high priority for me! We also appreciated that we could bring our dog and that she could be off-leash in the grassy area around the cabin.

Lovely house with amazing deck to relax and great views. Erik gave a passionate introduction at the check in that would make you want to stay for much longer. The perfect nature getaway!

Absolutely blown away by this Airbnb! From the moment we walked in, it was clear that every single detail had been thought of. It truly felt like a home away from home – but better! The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked with every utensil, pot, and pantry staple you could possibly need. The bathroom was equally impressive, with a generous supply of toiletries and fluffy towels. Beyond the essentials, there were thoughtful touches everywhere, from a selection of games and books to extra blankets for cozy evenings. It made our stay so incredibly comfortable and stress-free. We have a new puppy, and we felt super comfortable having her there, and she got spoiled just as much as us!! This isn't just an Airbnb; it's a perfectly curated experience. We can't recommend it enough and will definitely be back!

Priceless views and amazing architecture are showpieces of this magnificent home that combines coziness, elegance, comfort and rustic charm. We’ve stayed at many airbnbs, but this one is a new favorite. It’s an ideal getaway for the whole family; plus it’s close to interesting hikes and restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked for eating at home. We didn’t enjoy the taste of the well water, but bought drinking water at Tru Value. Carley was very responsive and helpful throughout. We would love to come back in the summer.

We spent a few nights here right after our wedding and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. A beautiful cabin, with a light and airy look and feel. We utilized the hot tub, sauna and cold plunge and all were amazing. We hope to come back again soon!

We had such a wonderful stay here! The views were absolutely stunning from every window. The interior was sparkling clean and so thoughtfully designed. The location was perfect, just minutes from Birch Bay State Park for peaceful beach walks. We saw so many great blue herons and bald eagles! Marie was such kind host and always very responsive. Truly such a luxurious experience.

Jederzeit wieder - Die Unterkunft war mit so viel Liebe im Detail sowie stielvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und bot alles, was man braucht. Der Blick ist atemberaubend – perfekt für entspannte Abende. Lisa ist eine unglaublich freundliche, aufmerksame und jederzeit hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt! Ihre herzliche Art und die vielen kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten haben den Aufenthalt besonders gemacht. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen. Definitiv ein 5*- Appartment!

My only comment is that is was very hard to find the place especially in the dark. Google maps took me to a neighbouring house and it was very confusing. That being said I didn’t fully ready the hosts instructions so she may have mentioned that! Wonderful place though, we would definitely stay here again.

The Valley View Suite could have been called “A little bit of paradise” with wonderful views, a clean spacious suite and an obliging hostess. We had a wonderful stay and would return again.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Das Studio liegt in einer ruhigen Umgebung, das haben wir nach einem ‘stressigen’ Tag in Downtown sehr genossen! Alles war wie beschrieben & die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war super! Check-In sehr unkompliziert und wohlwollend. Nochmals herzlichen Dank, es war uns eine Freude!

Great place for a couple nights in Port Angeles. The host was very friendly and chatted briefly when we were parking at the same time. The place was really clean and extremely nice and well reflected in the post. The only thing my husband and I discussed was the stairs to the 2nd floor was "sketchy", they were steeper than anticipated and very creaky while walking up or down, but there sturdy enough for us. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was HUGE with nice water pressure. Would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Jane’s ! The suite is close to the the Cowichan Valley Trail ( part of the Trans Canada Trail ) which we cycled for 2 days. Also close to town and restaurants and the famous totems of Duncan. Lots of lovely touches and a very comfortable bed . Would highly recommend Jane’s air bnb .

Two words gorgeous views!!! Looked forward to having my cup of coffee on Kelley & Kent’s patio every morning. A very peaceful location tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Ganges, but still less than five minute trip into town. Both Kelley & Kent were very welcoming and accommodating to our early check in. Their air bnb had all the amenities you could need to make you feel right at home. Beds were super comfy! I would HIGHLY recommend booking this accommodation, you won’t be disappointed! :) Enjoy!

Diese Unterkunft ist einfach nur traumhaft ❤️ Wir haben uns wohl und sehr willkommen gefühlt. Der Garten mit Blick auf den Fjord, die vielen 🐿️🐿️ Eichhörnchen und Vögel 🐦🐦 am Morgen...einfach herrlich. Linda schickt viele tolle Tipps zur Freizeitgestaltung und Empfehlungen für Restaurants. Wir waren im A Town Bistro und das Essen war wirklich toll ... die Ausstattung der Wohnung , die vielen Annehmlichkeiten sowie die vielen Extras in der Küche machen diesen Ort sehr besonders. Wir haben Linda und ihren Mann leider nicht kennen gelernt, sollten wir eines Tages wieder in der Gegend sein, hoffen wir das wir das nachholen können ❤️❤️

Harley’s place was pure magic. Perfectly situated and very well equipped, we felt right at home for our three-night stay in Port Renfrew. The views are even more breathtaking than the photos suggest, with tons of natural light spilling through the entire apartment. We were blown away by the wildlife sightings from the balcony and spent hours with the binoculars taking it all in. We would happily return to Harley’s property in the future.

Terry and Kerry are great host. Beautiful garden and property. My Almost adult daughter loved the swing my wife loved the garden and I loved it all. We got a bottle of wine and snack dinner one night. We sat at the little table and eat our dinner. We are from TX where you can’t sit outside for 2 hours and not get destroyed by mosquitoes . As a family we’ve stayed in 50plus Airbnb’s and this one is top 5 we will be back in September for college move in

My group (4 adults) had a fantastic stay at Wayne's apartment. The apartment was spacious, well equipped (women's hygiene products, bathrobes, etc.), and very centrally located. Wayne was also very helpful in fulfilling a few of our requests such as providing us with a fan and an early check in. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable, central place to stay in Victoria.

The Inn on the Harbor was a perfect weekend getaway spot. Super clean and comfortable with great water views. Check in was made really easy and Tracey gave great directions ahead of time. Downtown Blaine is very walkable from this spot. We will be back!

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Conveniently located and overlooking the water, the apartment was very well appointed, clean and very cozy. On a cold evening, we enjoyed warming our feet by the outside fireplace. We’d recommend this place to anyone wanting to spend some time in Port Renfrew.

The only complaint I have is the bed in the bedroom. Could not sleep on it very squeaky, wiggly, mattress very lumpy.. needs a foam mattress and new frame. It was so uncomfortable. Thank god the couch was comfortable. Hopefully he will replace the bed by the next time I stay.

This place is so clean and comfortable. The host is super helpful providing tipis and instructions. Nice area to walk around for food and shopping. Easy to get around taking trains too. We love it!!

This is our second time staying here and definitely not our last! Wonderful, spacious, comfortable condo with walk out access to the beach. So peaceful with the resort a few min walk away with lots of amenities. Beds were very comfy. Can't beat the view! Highly recommend.
