Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Gualdo Cattaneo

Easter was of course a risk with the weather. Then we found the villa. A pool heated to 33 degrees - just the solution. Large living and dining area with equally spacious terraces. Enough towels are available, everything is fine. Do not come with the sports cars (the last mile is gravel road) and adjust to the steps to the bedrooms. Then enjoy the tranquility and the view! Dinner at the oil mill is worth the money and the trip. 11 days went by too quickly.

Stefania was a wonderful host. Her home is beautifully renovated and decorated. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and she even left us items to make breakfast. I highly recommend taking Stefania's cooking class if you have time. It was an unforgettable experience and the best meal of our trip!

We stayed here for a long weekend in May The environment and location are beautiful, in the green Umbrian hills and away from traffic and noise. We had some difficulty finding the entrance but Bianca gave us phone support. The house is equipped with everything you need for your stay. I suggest bringing some food as a backup because the house is a bit far from the town, about 2 km, but there is a bakery nearby that can also be reached on foot, even if not very close

Pictures don’t do the property and spectacular view justice. We had an amazing family holiday, our host couldn’t have been more accommodating, even leaving us kind gifts. Location was perfect (close enough to town and the airport but feeling secluded), having a bathroom each was great, and again that view was stunning. It all made for a perfect family trip :)

Daiana’s place is clean and spacious and in a lovely location. The beds and sofa were very comfortable and Daiana was very responsive and helpful. And flexible with check out. The house could do with a few more basic items which Daiana provided when requested. We were attending an event at the nearby castle so it was as an ideal location. The pool however was still closed for the winter so worth checking in advance.

What a wonderful stay. Perfect house for a family holiday with plenty of space for everyone. The house is beautiful and the beds all king size and comfy. The outdoor space and pool are perfect for relaxing after exploring the local area. Within easy reach of exploring the Tuscan gems of Siena and Montipluciano as well as lesser known villages such as spectacular Montone. Alessandro was so responsive and helpful providing recommendations for wine tours and a local chef. The local restaurant Mimmi is not to be missed - authentic home cooked food that was one of the best meals we ate - and the bar was set high. Thank you Alessandro for a wonderful and memorable stay.

We spent 8 nights in this beautiful cottage surrounded by olive trees, with a spectacular view and convenient to reach all points of interest in a short time! Raffaele was super helpful and gave us a lot of useful tips! We've never had such a kind host! Our vacation couldn't have been better! A little piece of our heart remained there ❤️

Daniela was a perfect host providing great ingormation and answering all our questions. Nazareno our onsite host was equally accomodating and was available at all times to answer questions offer advice and became more like a friend, along with his cannine friend Kira. We would highly recommend Borgo Monte Lagello to anyone looking for a peaceful location in Umbria with amazing views and all the aminities you could wish for, in close proximity to numerous attractions in Umbria.

We absolutely loved it and would definitely want to return there - a very special place, lovely people - a real holiday!

Renato’s place was very extraordinary. We had the entire villa to ourselves. Our 2 bedroom was perfect for our stay. Renato was a great host and was very helpful when we couldn’t find his place right away. He brought us delicious pastries on several occasions. We were in town for a wedding and the villa was not far from the venue. I would recommend this villa to anyone who is looking for some peace and quiet. It can accommodate several families at one time

We had an amazing stay at Alessandro’s and Sonja’s place. They helped a lot with very good recommendations for local restaurants and things to see and do around. The apartment was very clean and cute, even though it was quite moist probably due to lower temperatures in May. For the summer months we can imagine it it is very cooling and perfect for sleeping. We can highly recommend the Castello and would always come back ☺️

This was the most magical place to call home while in Tuscany. Marco communicated really well from the beginning, and was available for any questions you may have had. The bathrooms were so clean, the kitchen was well stocked, there were enough pillows and blankets if you got cold and the air conditioning was perfect for those hot days and as a bonus the wifi worked really well. The swimming pool was only a few steps away and had a breathtaking view as well and was super clean. The sunsets were to die for on the front patio and they even provide a table with an umbrella if you want to dine outdoors. This place was so beautiful and felt like home, it was our favourite place in all of Italy.

Very nice farmhouse surrounded by nature. The apartment was comfortable, spacious and clean. Elena was responsive and super helpful. He also made us find the necessities for breakfast. The outdoor space is beautiful and at our complete disposal. Montefalco is a few minutes' drive away and all the surroundings are beautiful. We stayed with a two-year-old boy and found a crib and high chair in the apartment. We will definitely be back.

Daniela was very kind and very helpful as well as being a serious and professional host. The apartment is clean, well-furnished and well-equipped with everything you need. The location is perfect for reaching the main attractions of the area, which are really many. A special mention should be made of the outdoor area, which is very well equipped and ideal for an afternoon nap after returning from visits. We would like to thank Daniela again for her exquisite hospitality in the hope of being able to return soon to visit these beautiful places.

Giuseppina has beautifully renovated her birthplace in typical Umbro style. There are several options, varying from the number of guests wishing to book. We had booked the so-called podere il limonaia ourselves. Perfect for a couple. Everything was present and when she heard that our children were coming to barbecue, there were suddenly more chairs, tables and even a long tablecloth ready in the garden. So it became a cozy BBQ. The garden and lawn are well maintained with roses, lavender, rosemary, fragrant jasmine, olive trees and a walnut tree. The waste is neatly separated, and the gate opens by means of a code. A private parking within the domain ensures you a safe place. On foot or by bicycle, you can go to the fishing village of San Feliciano. There are several restaurants and recommended for breakfast in the morning or later for aperitifs on the lake and among the Italians is: el chiosco. The sunset is fantastic

Ornella super host, always kind and caring, ready to meet all needs. We went to this apartment (perfect for 4 as two even separate couples who want their separate spaces) and although the renovation was not 100%, the house was extremely cozy.

Beautiful villa with a breathtaking view of the valley. Quiet and comfortable even during business days, beautiful large garden and easily usable with magnificent plants! Contacts with the owners have always been very quick and courteous, ready to meet any questions or needs. Great vacation!

everything is great, available host and unique location

Enviable location, great hospitality, service and comfort, I recommend focusing a little more on local products and preparations regarding breakfast (excluded from the price of the location).

This is a lovely place to relax and unwind. It is very peaceful and the garden, swimming pool and outside sitting areas - including a very nice pergola for eating outside - are beautifully kept. The house is comfortable with a good kitchen for cooking. Valentina and her parents are lovely - very welcoming and helpful. Communication is very good. For example, when we had a spell of bad weather, Valentina immediately messaged us with details about the heating and an invitation to use the open fire. Very highly recommended.

A charming quiet place surrounded by nature. Suitable for those like us who need to get away from daily stress. A clean, tidy environment inside with care x every detail of the house. Outside with a manicured garden on every corner and in the pool. Mr. Giorgio, very friendly and helpful, made us feel at home. We spent a week in total peace. I highly recommend it

Staying in the shelter was very pleasant, the hosts are really thoughtful and welcoming and the shelter is very well maintained as well as being a great starting point for excursions in the surrounding nature. This time I was just passing through, but I'll try to come back with more time available. Thanks and we hope to see you again soon!

Wonderful place, classic Tuscan farmhouse surrounded by greenery, wonderful lower rooms. Large rooms and huge living room. Small faults: the lack of a net in a room, the mattress is placed directly on a base (I believe in concrete) and that of the 2.5 bathrooms one is on the lower floor and one is in a room (so for 4 bedrooms, 8 people) there is only one bathroom... but it is huge and you are with the right people. No problem sharing the one in the room!! Fabrizio and his wife are very kind and helpful. If you are looking for comfort, luxury and modernity look elsewhere, here you will find peace, countryside flavor...that wonderful and conviviality.
