Welcome to our modern (photo) studio in a wooded area! Here you can enjoy nature, while still being close to all the conveniences of the city. With beautiful walking + cycling paths from home, shops and restaurants a short distance away. You can park for free at the train station and then have a good, fast train connection to Utrecht, Amsterdam and Amersfoort, European city 2023. Parents + baby are welcome. Bookable from 1 night, except at Christmas, when only 3 consecutive nights are permitted.

Windmill close to Amsterdam!!

Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

On the edge of the forest you will find our B&B. It is less than 30 minutes by bike (10 minutes by car) from Utrecht. By Public transport or car you are within half an hour in Amsterdam. Looking for a nice place to stay with a lot of privacy? Just outside Utrecht, you will find Bed and Breakfast Au Jardin, where you can enjoy and relax. The guesthouse is at the back of our deep garden. You have your own entrance at the rear of the building. You can also park there. At the front, you can relax on the terrace. The Bed and Breakfast is located in De Meern, in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Close to Utrecht and centrally located between Rotterdam, Amsterdam and The Hague.

Huisje Amelisweerd is a calm, stylish guest house ideally situated for a city trip, nature getaway, or both! At less than 4 km away, the stunning old city center of Utrecht is readily accessible. This location is for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. From the houseboat you have a view of a nature-friendly bank that is ecologically managed by the local residents. You can view the many types of water birds and even the Kingfisher and the Cormorant come to catch a fish every now and then. The water is of very good quality and you can swim from the boat. You can also rent an electrically powered rowing boat from us to explore the area from the water.

Please note that the address is Achter Raadhoven 45A, a green garden door, and not Achter Raadhoven 45, where our neighbor lives. De Boomgaard (The Orchard) is in the walled garden of an 18th-century house on the legendary Vecht River, where Dutch country life was born. The b&b is a complete cottage of great charm and comfort. Guests have their own entrance, with free parking a few steps from the door. They have their own entirely private bathroom and kitchen.

We love to welcome you in our cozy detached studio in the east of Utrecht. The quiet neighborhood is just 12 min by bike to the historical citycentre (free bikes available). Your private "front house" has its own entrance and all conveniences. So you will have all privacy but if you need any help, we would love to help you out (we live nextdoor). Ps the new super (pricewinning Bruno bed) sofa bed has arrived and is installed!

From here you can walk or cycle to the beautiful Lage Vuursche. By train you can reach Utrecht within 10 minutes from Bilthoven station (car 15 min / bike 35 min). Amersfoort and Zeist are also nearby.
