It has 2 bedrooms (double beds: 180 x 200 cm), which share the bathroom on the upper floor. On the first floor is the kitchen, combined living/dining room and terrace with breathtaking lake and mountain views. It is a retreat and relaxation place overlooking nature. I don’t usually write a review but I definitely have to write one for Walter’s place. He is such a friendly host that made the stay so much enjoyable. He would recommend perfect spots to view the beautiful Lake Zug or Lake Lucerne. He also recommended the best driving route for Alpen passe. If we can give 6 stars, would award him. It’s walkable distance to 2 marts. Easy 30mins drive to Zurich or Luzerne, about 1hr 30mins to Interlaken.

What a view! This was such a peaceful home to stay in. It was perfect for our family. We cooked a few dinners at the house and had a few dinners. Our host recommended renting a car as local bus doesn’t always run when you need it. I would recommend renting a car for this location as uber isn’t always available and it’s a hike up the mountain with luggage. We would definitely stay here again.

AMAZING stay. Bernhardt was attentive and helpful when needed, and also left us to enjoy the stay. I appreciate his recommendations for a car repair and restaurant to help us after a long drive and getting in late. The deck immediately on the lake is the highlight - heated pool, outdoor dining, outdoor shower, sun loungers and steps directly into the lake. Paddle boards were available. The private driveway cannot be taken for granted, this place gives privacy and a quick drive to town. You can enjoy the amenities and views of the area without leaving home if you like! Or, get out for an amazing adventure. Entertaining bird watching! This place is highly recommended and we look forward to coming back.
