Thank you so much Kobus -- this cottage was the perfect end to our trip. Kobus was accommodating and friendly, allowing us to book on very short notice and check-out later due to my online work commitments. The environment is so peaceful, the space is romantic and has everything you need for a weekend getaway. Will definitely recommend this place and hope to stay again.

lovely little cottage that is so beautifully decorated. The outside areas are so beautiful and there is a lovely water feature just outside the door which makes the whole area just feel so soothing and definitely not like in the middle of a big city! I was traveling through Knysna with a vehicle full of things as I am relocating and Lesley even made space in her garage so that I could safely park my car in it as the vehicle couldn't lock. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone! lovely accommodation and a super lovely host!

I had a lovely stay. The cottage is beautiful and Pietro was the best host. The Carpenters Cottage is a gorgeous cosy tiny home with everything you need to be comfortable. It’s also a fascinating piece of history. Pietro gave me great advice about where to go and what to do in Knysna, and even took me to see some of the lovely local beaches with her sweet dog Rupert. I would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to any of my friends and family who visit Knysna.

Fun place to stay, very family-friendly with lots of communal spaces to enjoy like the hot tub, braai area, gardens, bush walk track. The cabin was nice, we especially enjoyed the private outdoor bathroom.

The location was exceptional. The views, the river and surroundings are all breathtaking. The cabin is the perfect location for numerous day trips or one can spend the day on the river with the kayak. Altanja was always responsive and helpful amd the cabin was clean and attention to details were appreciated. The only thing to note is the cabin is on solar with a small battery. On cloudy days one can expect to run out of power after a night of charging phones and laptops only. Not a problem when expected but do note this and pack accordingly. Ps. Bed is super comfy!

We had a lovely stay. The surroundings as well as the cabin are beautiful. The trail from the cabin was well maintained and very scenic. Kecia was a lovely host who made an effort to ensure a pleasant stay.

we had a great stay in this nice and extremely quite lodge in the middle of the forest. also very close to the ocean and many activities. would definitly recommend. Lesley was a lovely and very helpful host.

Gustav and Susanne were absolutely wonderful hosts, so caring and responsive and went the extra mile to help make my stay as wonderful as possible. I wanted to experience a container apartment as I am also a host, and it was actually really neat. The deck they built makes compact living feel a lot more spacious. I wish them loads of success!

Visited the place for a weekend break and we got a lot more than expected. This little gem offers peaceful surroundings, interesting walks, and we’ve never seen a place accommodate our pets so well. It was an amazing stay and we’ll be back for another break soon.

We absolutely loved our stay in the Shepherds hut, so much so that we had to extend our stay! I can't recommend James's spot highly enough if you are looking for a peaceful stay near Plett.

We had a great stay and Frieda and her husband are really friendly and open people. The place feels like home and everything you need is right there. The outside area is just amazing. We definitely will be back!

The atmosphere at Kleinkrantz Hideaway was nothing short of wholesome🥰 the home was also very aesthetically pleasing and uplifting😍, emphasis on the attention paid to detail and care by the hosts✨the home literally had everything one would ever need, from the the laundry area to the clean bathrooms🍃, the comfy bedrooms😌 and the lovely tea station at the kitchen☕️. The area was very peaceful🫧and has a walkable distance to the beach🏖️. Thank you so much Westley and Minette for the 5 star treatment🫂❤️💫

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay – the cottage is absolutely charming, with thoughtful touches to make us feel at home. We loved taking a river swim and going for a hike without getting into the car. Our host (and their lovely dog Jackie) were warm and welcoming, and we had a lovely, relaxing stay. PS. The collection of books in the cottage will keep you occupied even in rainy weather!
