The perfect spot to disconnect from the hustle/bustle and technology. Modern amenities include gas fireplace, A/C, washer/dryer, TV, Record Player, DVD Player. Connect with nature, snuggle up by the fireplace, read a book, play a board game or listen to some vinyl and unwind. There is NO INTERNET but there is spotty LTE/cell service.

We are steps away from activities such as walking, cycling, ATVing, skiing, snowmobiling can on the nearby Algonquin Trail. We are just 30 minutes from world class downhill skiing and whitewater rafting.

Welcome to our modern countryside cabin located on a 2 acre lot in Wakefield, Quebec. Come relax and recharge for a few days while taking advantage of nature and the cozy interior with fireplace. There is plenty to do nearby: discover the Wakefield village, its restaurants, boutiques, farms, the Gatineau Park, the Nordik Spa, Eco-Odyssee, the nearby golf courses and ski hills, etc. (CITQ Permit #298430. Waterfront cottage/chalet, 2.8km (2 miles) from the Ski Hilll, about a 4 minute drive. This is our first family cottage and we have worked hard to make it a welcoming family space for our guests. It is warm and cozy, clean and simple with all of the amenities guests might expect. The cottage is nestled in a quiet neighbourhood in Calabogie on the edge of the lake, to be enjoyed in both Summer and Winter, lake fun and winter activities await!

Just 1 1/2 hours outside of Ottawa. We are only 20 minutes away from the award winning Whitetail Golf Course. There are two kayaks available for rent for $35/day each.
