Shopes' Cottage | Chalet Village | Gatlinburg

Our charming cottage in Chalet Village offers convenience and tranquility. It's 10 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, the Smoky Mountain National Park, and Pigeon Forge, and offers breathtaking mountain views. The cottage features two gas fireplaces, a hot tub, and a modern kitchen equipped w/ granite countertops & stainless-steel appliances. And, if you're lucky, you might even spot a bear during their active season! The cottage is one of our favorite properties. We hope you'll love it too.

Cabin of Lost Soles, less than 1 mile from GSMNP

NOTE: We are 3 min from GSMNP, not 40 min as Airbnb states. Cozy & comfortable, with room for 3 but perfect for 2. Overlooking the Little River and located on the walking/biking trail in town. Less than 1 mile to Great Smoky Mtns. Nat. Park, across the river from Vee Hollow Bike Trails. River access on the property (the steps to the river may be difficult for some.) Need more room? Just at .6 miles to the Alarka Boat Ramp & Marina, less than ten miles to downtown Bryson City, 20 minutes to Nantahala Outdoor Center, under 20 miles to Cherokee & Harrah's casino, 30 miles to The Dragon's Tail. Enjoy sunrises and sunsets on the front porch while waving to passing vehicles (most likely a family member!).

Looking for an affordable mountain getaway to do a little fishing, relaxing, or just need a break from your hectic everyday life?  Want something comfortable and unique!?  This creek side Cottage is an open loft 2 bedroom home on the creek with a 3 person hammock,hot tub, firepit and charcoal parkside grill. It was built in the early 60's and has had a big transformation! While keeping its unique charm. I love saving and restoring older places and this was a fun project!

Come relax in the heated/cooled Cottage and enjoy the beautiful scenery and splendor that the Mountains of Western NC has to offer. Take day trips and visit the Blue Ridge Parkway, historic Waynesville, Canton, and Asheville then settle back into one of our cozy beds back at Blackberry Cottage... And don’t forget to visit the goats!!

S'more Time at Hidden Creek-Smoky Mountain Escape

S'more Time at Hidden Creek is a quiet retreat for Smoky Mountain visitors who want to avoid the crowds in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It is separated from neighboring homes by a half mile of forest, but that doesn't mean sacrificing convenience. The cottage sits beside a mountain creek which can typically be heard through open windows in the evening, while visiting with friends around the creek side fire ring, or while exploring the short walking trail.
