House vacation rentals in Great Smoky Mountains

Cottage by the Creek was exactly as described. It was so relaxing and peaceful. My absolute favorite place to be was the swing listening to the creek and sharing my time with the multiple ducks, geese, cardinals and other birds. We got lucky enough to see a turkey and a hummingbird. The distance to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg were perfect! I’m so hoping to be able to stay here again in the future.

All pictures and descriptions accurately reflect the beauty and homeliness of this wonderful home. Will definitely stay here again when we vacation in this area. Owners were always very responsive and easy to work with…so happy we found this jewel.

Our family felt right at home at Michael's A-frame. My husband commented that it felt as though we had stayed there before, and it really had. It has every amenity and creature comfort you could want or need, including a nicely stocked spice cabinet, plenty of linens, board games and puzzles, and a place to do laundry. Michael was friendly and helpful. Our family had an awesome time, and we hope to be back to enjoy the property in the summer months!

My family and I had the most incredible stay at Jessie and Robin's stunning home. The pictures truly don’t do it justice—it’s absolutely beautiful. The home was spotless, and every comfort was thoughtfully provided. Thank you so much for hosting us! We miss it already! Our whole stay was amazing from the very first day. We utilized the entire place from the inside to the outside, it was EXACTLY what we were looking for! The host was extremely responsive to every question/inquiry we had and so friendly. We had a variety of ages from 1-60 and every one of us enjoyed our stay. The pool was a perfect bonus to the house and was used every day of our week long stay! The two kitchens and outside grill had everything you need that we didn't eat out the whole week, we bought groceries and enjoyed quality time cooking together. We could not have asked for more! We are so excited to plan another vacation here again SOON!

Perfect place to stay that offers a peaceful getaway , but close to everything the area has to offer. We appreciate this pet friendly host. Danny was very quick to respond to messages.

We had a wonderful stay. The views were amazing and even better in person. Top notch for cleanliness and Hosts were extremely responsive. So happy we went with a pool as it did rain quite a bit. Don’t hesitate to book!

We met up here with some other family for a group adventure and birthday trip. The property is private and gorgeous. All of the kids loved the game room and outside amenities. We had plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably as well. We can’t wait to come back!

Peaceful location. Close to everything we wanted to do and easy up/down to house. House was perfectly appointed, comfortable, clean. Beds were comfortable. Decor is tasteful and cozy! Would definitely come back. Justin was responsive and instructions were clear. Would recommend.

Loved this place! It was beautiful and exactly as described. The view from the porch was stunning! Please make sure you listen to Chris and lock your car doors. I had a baby bear in my car when we got up in the morning because I went out and then forgot to lock it back! Those bears are super smart. I’m glad it was a baby but I did see the mama everyday too so lock up!! We had a blast and loved how warm and welcoming the house was. Chris was very responsive and easy to get in contact with. I would absolutely recommend this place!

This cabin was everything we wanted and more. From the second we pulled up to the cabin we were able to start relaxing and enjoy the scenery. The farm animals was an added bonus that we enjoyed. We will definitely stay again!

Wonderful place to stay for a longer trip, felt at home and was very quiet. We loved the screened in porch and beautiful plants!

Perfect for a couple to get away. Also far enough from the rush of town to be quiet but not too far away to make a short drive to go see some of the local attractions or go to the store if needing supplies. Overall will definitely book again when we get around to having time for it

The sunsets from the porch are gorgeous. It is not only impressive that this home was built in just the perfect spot to catch an amazing sunset, but also nestled in the middle of Fontana Lake with a great view of the lake. I can’t say enough about this location! I’ve grown up coming to the Carolina’s and never knew about Fontana Lake. This cabin feels incredibly secluded and luxurious, but close enough to all the best adventure spots—Nantahala, Deep Creek, Smoky National Park, Fontana Lake access points, Appalachian Trail—you name it. There is even a great trailhead walking distance from the cabin that has great views of the lake, creeks, and challenging and diverse enough to walk 2-3x. We saw deer and wild turkey almost everyday and the wildflowers were in bloom all over. Additionally, the master bedroom has an amazing view from the bed. When I opened my eyes each morning, I had a view of the smokies that was mesmerizing. We all want to rent this cabin again!

The view of the river was great, and I loved the sound of it outside. The porch was probably my favorite area. The beds were comfortable and the WiFi made streaming smooth. The home was a little far from Smokey Mountain National Park with the traffic, but if you don’t plan on heading that way, it’s a perfect getaway. One thing I did not realize upon booking was there only being one shower, and it is connected to one of the bedrooms. (I may have missed it in the original listing). It was no big deal for us, but something of note if you prefer to have your own space. The road was a little loud, but again, no biggie. Overall, it was beautiful and check out was pretty standard stuff. The hosts were very communicative.

Daniel was a great host! We had a great time at the cabin. It was very clean and looked just like the pictures. I would recommend a 4wd vehicle due to the road heading up to the cabin. I will say the views once we got up there were spectacular! Beautiful porch for coffee sipping!

Photos do not do this serene escape justice! I spent two nights at this magical mountain home and it was the perfect place to experience peace in nature. The views were superb, but the home was so special, beautiful and modern decor but still so cozy! Every room had a stunning view of the all the surrounding green trees and mountains. The porch swing was the perfect place to enjoy a warm cup of tea. I also enjoyed taking a bath upstairs & lounging in the loft area, never having to leave the view of the beautiful outdoors with all the large windows and natural light from all directions. The hosts were accommodating to an early check in which I super appreciated and were helpful and responsive, also providing a beautiful book at the home providing all necessary info for a smooth and enjoyable stay. I would be thrilled to return to this beautiful property one day! I left feeling completely recharged 🙏🏼

This was such a sweet stay and we wish we could have stayed longer! Beautiful location - my husband enjoyed fly fishing during the day on the water and I was only 20 minutes from kayaking at the NOC. The house was very clean - tidy bathroom and kitchen with all your basics stocked to get you started. Hot tub was lovely and very clean! There is a steeper drop off next to the outside firepit so I would be mindful with little children. Easy check in and they were very flexible and responsive when we had some crazy weather pop up nearby. We will be back again and hopefully stay a little longer!

Host was very responsive to all our questions, He was very helpful when giving us the instructions about location. Beautiful place, very clean and with a gorgeous view. Brandon- Curt are doing a great job keeping the place clean and equipped with everything you need. There is a lot to do for the family, individuals and kids. Also short distance place’s worth it to visit. My family and I fully recommend this beautiful place.

We loved our stay at the Carolina Morning’s cabin. It was beautiful and perfect in every way. We had everything we needed for our trip and when I did have a question, the host was very responsive. The cabin is further out than we have stayed in the past, but the view made up for the longer drive. The good thing is you can be in Maggie Valley or Waynesville in around 20 minutes. The cabin was tastefully and stylishly decorated the space was perfect for our family of three and our two golden retrievers. The deck is a great place to relax with a glass of wine and take in the beautiful views or grill, which we did. Everything in the cabin is new and up to date and it even smelled new when you opened the front door. Overall it was an amazing week and we hope to visit again soon!

Wow, just wow!! This place is even better than the photos. This place is the perfect place to rest and reboot in nature. Along with all of the things to do on the property, such as the trails and disc golf course, the house is just its own slice of Heaven. The garden area is private and the perfect space for mediating, reading or just listening to all the sounds of nature. We didn’t need music because the sound of rushing water and birds was soothing enough! The house is beautiful and clean, and the attention to detail is just something beyond words. If you have time, definitely read some of the Frank Lloyd Wright books scattered through the house, and it will make you appreciate the house all that much more. A good 20% of the trip was just admiring all of the nooks and crannies within the home, from the copper details, wooden bowls made by Kevin the owner, or the different structured wood beams, it all just makes the home it’s own piece of art. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

This location is perfect! The house is close to the river and the property is a short drive from town. Highly recommend!

This was such a wonderful place to stay! We came for our honeymoon & it was so perfect, peaceful and relaxing! 10/10 recommend!

This air and b was spacious and comfortable with great views of the mountains. Smoky Mountains National Park was a half an hour away. The kitchen had everything we needed. We had a great few days exploring the area. Steve was accessible when we had a question. Highly recommend.
