You will be close to hiking trails, hiking, snowmobile trails, and skiing.

The cabin is very nice and very well equipped. Way more equipped than any other place we have stayed. The only complaint I could possibly point out would be the noisy expressway in the front yard. But I knew it was there when I made the reservation and it definitely wont keep me from staying there again!! And the host (Abigail) is very kind and responsive to questions.

Book it! Go enjoy the state parks, higgins lake, the zoo, miles of trails for bikes or walking and have a beautiful place to call home for the night. Food and ice cream all over the area. It's the kinda of place where they make you pump your gas befor you pay. Took my boat and overall it was just a great time! The place is clean and quiet. I doubt you will be disappointed.

The chalet is beautiful, even in the winter. We were able to kayak the river and fish, even in the snow. This is now my son's favorite stay on Airbnb, and now I wish I had a chalet home, nice design and very spacious. The interior is decorated very nice and has every convenience and impeccably clean. You won't regret your stay, excellent value, and we hope to return. The host, Darlene, was in touch with us a week ahead of time with concern about the possible road conditions which turned out to be good. There was two feet of snow on the ground, (very pretty time of year by the way), Darlene had the parking and walkways shoveled free of snow, and she also made sure our check in and stay went smooth. Thanks again, The Janiks
