We had a great stay! The apartment is modern, clean and well equipped – with everything you need, including Wi-Fi. The terrace overlooking the two lakes was particularly beautiful – ideal for relaxing at breakfast or dinner. The location is great: strategically perfect between Lake Como and Lake Lugano, the small Piano Lake is at your feet. The pool was also a highlight! The host was very friendly and helpful. We would come back anytime!

Very good value for the price! Really nice and clean, all essentail kitchen equipment is there. The view from the room is beautiful and peaceful, right at the lake. Perfect for taking walks with a doggy. The restaurant right next door is really good and stores are 2 minutes away with the car. Very good sound insulation, the building is next to a busy road but you cant hear anything from that or from the neighbors. EV charging in the area is fairly limited but not impossible. Checking in is seemless with the keycard in a lock-box. I can only recommend it!

This apartment has the most beautiful views from the balcony and living room. We very much enjoyed our morning coffee in the balcony and the weather was perfect - not too hot which made sitting in the sun a delight. On a hot day, a shade in the balcony would be perfect. The location is perfect as it's right next to the ferry terminal. The roadside can be a little noisy but after a while it became white noise as you take in the breathtaking view. We rented a vespa and found it very easy to move around whether by taking the ferry to Bellagio on the other side or to Menaggio, 10mins down the road. We also had a dedicated parking spot which was perfect. Irina was very responsive and helpful. We absolutely loved the bottle of sparkling wine that she left us on arrival. Very nice touch. It truly is idyllic and we would love to return one day. Lake Como is a magical place.

It was a great choice to stay - not only Alessia is a great host - but also the place is perfect if you want to enjoy peaceful time and have walkable access to the centre. Please feels like home due to carefully selected amenities and materials used. Alessia is going an extra mile in being a host - she helps with arrival and departure, gives local tips that one would not know otherwise! Beautiful view on Pescallo bay, delicious fruits just next door! This was a perfect weekend gateway - thank you Alessia!

Thank you Nicoletta for our stay in this beautiful, peaceful and totally relaxing apartment. Sitting on the terrace at all times of the day and night with just the sounds of the waves, church bells and occasional boats was unbelievably relaxing. The immediate locality was so friendly - we loved the cafe aurora which had the warmest welcome and lovely home cooked food - also the Giardano a Lago was a lovely place to enjoy a drink with generous portions of food right by the lake- but it was also magical to eat in the apartment sitting on the terrace as the sun went down and the lights across the lake started to twinkle. The C25 bus, which was mostly reliable. made heading along the coast to Como or Agregno (where we had the most fabulous 2 hours on the lake after renting a boat from the company you suggested) so very easy and we were very glad not to have a car. Thank you again for all your suggestions and help and we hope to return before too long - a perfect holday destination.

We had an amazing stay. It could not have been a better location. Jenny and Nico were so helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to welcome and accommodate us. We will absolutely be staying here again.

Mara's place in Sala Comacina is a dream! We had an incredibly beautiful view of the lake, the garden and the apartment were very well maintained and well equipped. The place is small, but we felt very comfortable, as there is, for example, a small supermarket and a small swimming area with a beach. Mara was always quick to reach and very friendly. There is also parking. We would come back anytime!

Loved the gorgeous lake view in this comfortable, conveniently located apartment in the charming town of Varenna. The place was everything we were looking for and our host was so helpful. We hope to have the pleasure of staying again before too long!

The location is absolutely stunning and Pieter’s place is perfect - very clean with beautiful views of the lake and right next to GHT. The ferry terminal is also very close. There are also a couple of nice restaurants/ coffee shops around. We would love to come back.

My girlfriend and I came here on our two year anniversary and let me first start by saying Stella’s suit was absolutely impeccable, from the clean kitchen to the spotless sheets to the freshly cleaned floors the apartment was spotless! Secondly Stella was the most interactive and present host I’ve had the chance to come in contact with throughout my entire use on the Airbnb platform, she always answered quick and was present at every request ! Furthermore the suit was placed in the very heart of Menaggio and was wonderfully decorated! The suit was lovely , lively , comfortable and felt like home right away ! If you are coming to lake Como I couldn’t recommend a better place to stay , I am eager to come back to Stella sweet home and live another beautiful adventure at the heart of lake como ! The “Hydrangea Villa” at the very top of Villa Monti was a dream to stay in. The views were outstanding and all the windows open to hear the birds singing and allow cool breezes to flow thru (there is an excellent A/C system in this upper space as well). The downstairs bedroom & bath was just as clean, but not as cool as the “tower”. Communication pre-arrival was prompt and the onsite manager “MG” is friendly, attentive, knows Varenna well and gave us great suggestions for dinners & hikes ( do not miss hiking to the cemetery, waterfall and castle)! He carried our ( heavy!) bags up the 99 steps to our room- thank you MG!! The pool, although small was very refreshing and the area around it so pleasant to sit and gaze over Lake Como while drinking wine. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend Villa Monti to anyone traveling to beautiful Varenna.

Myself and Grace my daughter were on a European road trip. We booked this place at fairly short notice, Vanessa was brilliant from the first part of communication to the last. Gave us loads of info regarding things to do and loads of Tel numbers for local restaurants and taxi/boat services. The villa was typical Italian in deco (fab)very clean and spacious and brilliantly located. Thanks ever so much to Venessa and Emma , hopefully I will Return one day.

Wow, Deborah’s place is incredible. The patio is perfect for glass of wine after exploring or dinner cooked in. Great location just steps away from the ferry, grocery store and town, yet felt quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. We arrived around 7pm and easily found free parking nearby in the white painted line spaces near the ferry. Highly recommend.

Everyone needs to experience staying here! The views are breathtaking! We spent so much time sitting on the terrazzo, relaxing looking out at Lake Como, the mountains and over Lezzqnno. The apartment has everything you need and is spacious, comfortable and very clean. Livia is a wonderful host who goes above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your stay. She goes out of her way to help you with anything you may need. Mille grazie Livia - we hope to see you again for a longer stay.

Super helpful and clear communication. The Airbnb is exactly as shown, beautiful view from the balcony. Location is secluded however and hard to reach places unless you have hired a car. So just a tip for future visitors- hire a car :)

Great location for a family. Centrally located and great view about. Washer was great and the outdoor space allowed us to dry our clothes quickly. It was nice for everyone to have space to spread out.

Quiet and great place, the apartment was as described in the advertisement. We were 6 adults who had a great week in the apartment with a great view. We rented bikes from @Bike it! Bellagio, very good service here too. Nice to cycle to experience new places, the ferry from Bellagio went to both sides of the lake and was easily accessible 😊
