Lake house vacation rentals in Grand Lake

This cabin is extremely ideal given location and balance of what the house has to offer. Stunning view/deck and dock. Proximity to restaurants / main boardwalk is perfect. The house itself is charming, very functional and great for groups given the bed count. My group of 7 friends had plenty of space. There is a shower even though not pictured. The one piece I would point out is that the interior is certainly dated but again everything functions great. The biggest point that can’t be said enough, being ON the lake is magical and this house hits a home run from the standpoint. Stunning setting.

This cabin was absolutely perfect—super clean, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The views of the lake from the balcony were simply breathtaking and created such a peaceful atmosphere. One of the highlights was being able to easily walk down to Point Park and back, which was especially convenient since we were traveling with kids. Plus, having local restaurants and a park nearby made our stay even more enjoyable. We’ve always loved the Grand Lake area, but the views from this cabin were truly unforgettable. While it might look a bit smaller in photos, the location and overall experience more than made up for it. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay—we can’t wait to come back!

Great property! We traveled with multiple couples and kids, and everyone had a real bed to sleep in and bathroom to use. Main level was great for hanging out on and the hot tub is conveniently located on the patio. So nice not having to go to a community room to use. Loved the location in the center of town. This made it easy to walk everywhere from bowling to shopping and many different dinner options. We will diffidently consider staying here again if we make our way back to Winter Park!

The house was clean, well stocked with complimentary snacks, trashbags, laundry detergent, towels etc. The Views and proximity to hiking, biking, and other amenities in Idaho Springs was ideal for our stay. The house is modern, comfortable and well laid out. My Wife and daughter particularly enjoyed the reading nook. The kids made use of the host provided snow sleds as there was no shortage of snow during our stay. We saw a resident Bull Moose lumbering around multiple times and even watched it mill around the edge of the pond while we were in the hot tub! In addition to the Moose we saw Mule deer and a Coyote/Wolf-(not sure which). The frequent wildlife sightings and snow really made the stay unique and memorable for us and the kids! You really can’t get the same experience staying in town. Ashlyn was an incredible host and was quick to respond to any questions we asked. Highly recommend this host and stay. -Dustin-

A beautiful home within walking distance to a tasty Italian restaurant and bus stop

The townhouse was spectacular. So many beds and bathrooms to fit our large group. The views in the morning and evening were great. 3 min walk to the Lift bus stop. Kitchen could be stocked better with more and cleaner cookware.

Stayed here for a ski weekend and it was great. The hot tub was super relaxing after a long day of skiing and the commute to the slopes was easy given the free public transit. Clean home and great stay!

We had a delightful time at the Glacier House. Clear instructions were left for easy entry, and a binder of helpful information was left inside. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again if returning to the area.

This place was great for our family ski vacation. Lots of space for a large group. We really appreciated the hot tub after skiing all day. We had an issue with the plumbing and hot water while there, and while a little slow to respond, they did get it fixed the same day. The kitchen was great for cooking a few meals but didn’t have some basics such as salt and pepper or extra kitchen wash cloths and towels. There were some nice hiking trails right outside the door. The garage was also nice, with good parking for all 3 of our vehicles. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for a large group.

Amazing home. Beautiful view from the main room. Comfortably slept our group of six and an infant. We had such a blast being so close to Grand Lake and RMNP and only 20 minutes from Granby Ranch for skiing. We loved how cozy the gas fireplace was!

Stayed in this community before and always satisfied with the condos and location. This unit was clean and comfortable, and kudos for Winter Park Escapes for not asking us as guests to do an over amount of "chores" and "cleaning" upon check out! I know longer stay at places that ask me to strip beds and basically clean the unit when I pay for cleaning. No more of that!!! One note, the hot tub amenity during winter months here is busy and last couple stays have been a bit annoying with kids playing in both the pool and hot tub - splashing and being loud. Not relaxing if that is what you are looking for. Otherwise, good stay and convenient to all your Winter Park needs.

Fantastic mountain stay!! We had 7 people staying and used all bedrooms and bathrooms. All beds were very comfortable. Yes, there are a lot of stairs to get to the house, but they are very doable. Just take your time. I took 50 steps to reach the top. Basement room was perfect for my son and his friend for the week. Kitchen had everything that we needed. Denise was a perfect host! We had clear instructions on check in and check out. Everything is exactly as described in the description. Location is about 15 minutes from Idaho Springs proper. Remember, most of the drive is coming down the mountain. We took advantage and enjoyed the views every time we left the house!

The property was large enough to host our college friends group of 10 with room to spare! The outdoor areas were beautiful and we had plenty of space and equipment to cook all that we wanted, play outdoor games, and then some. This place is great for larger groups that are looking for a little privacy in the mountains.

What an amazing place!! Definitely off the beaten path, but couldn’t ask for a more stunning set of views, sunrises, sunsets, and serene surroundings. Wanted to book a private mountain cabin, got everything we wanted and more. The deck is great, the pellet stove is iconic, and the kitchen is great. Truly enjoyed every bit of this trip. Pretty close to town for food, gas, and groceries. Very comfortable furniture and bedding. Possibly the best morning coffee drinking spot I’ve ever stayed at.

This place is beautiful. It looks recently renovated, and everything was done with good taste. The Airbnb was stocked with all of the supplies we needed, including extra towels for the hot tub. The management was exceptionally responsive and helpful. When we asked about another pack and play they offered to get us one the same day. There are a lot of stairs as a heads up. It is pretty cool that they offer the free passes to local activities, but it is worth noting that you only get one free pass per day, so if there are two of you, one of you will have to pay. Still a really great feature and easy way to find out what’s available to do and save some money. There is no gym on the premises. It looks like the gym listed as an amenity is actually the local recreation center at which you can get a single daily free pass. The best part to me was some really cool, hiking and bicycling trails that are very nearby. The resort has a lot going on even in the off-season. it is totally beautiful and the drive in either direction is really pretty too.

This Airbnb is perfect for a large group ski trip. Had a group of 12 visiting Winter Park and we had a great time. The check in instructions were clear and the host is very proactive with communication. The place was exactly as described and is in a great location. Would definitely recommend!

Great house. Comfy beds. Quiet location.

The house was terrific for our family on our winter vacation. Located between two ski resorts. Lots of room to spread out. Access to the garage for our vehicles. Nice hot tub. Would gladly stay again!!!

Our family of 4 really enjoyed this roomy townhouse. The new plush carpet was comfortable, and the place was well stocked with all necessary items, even more than what is usually available. They had ziplock bags, spices, sugar, Tide pods, dryer sheets, etc... The washer & dryer were upstairs, which was really helpful. Not only was the hot tub out back relaxing, but so were the sounds of the Fraiser River. We were within walking dist. from shops and restaurants. Most shops closed around 5pm, which was disappointing, but we came to experience RMNP, and we were only about 45 minutes away from the east entrance, so it was perfect. We would definitely stay again and recommend this great townhouse to any family or group of friends.

Very clean, great amenities (towels, kitchen appliances, hot tub, speaker) that all work well. Easy check in and check out process. Location is great - close to stores, restaurants, and ~2 minute walk from shuttle that takes you to/from Winter Park ski base. Would recommend.
