Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Grand Canal

When we arrived, we were very pleased by the house although we had already seen the pictures provided. The property is in a great location for accessing all the major attractions within Dublin. Most of which are in walking distance. We found the house very cozy, especially on an evening after a long day exploring what Dublin had to offer. We would 100% recommend this accommodation if anyone is considering stopping in Dublin.

Spacious, sun drenched, well stocked, and clean apartment. Great location with lots of restaurants and sights nearby. Easily walkable, but public transportation is also right outside. Would highly recommend!

We really enjoyed staying at Fergals place! There were bus stops nearby so you could get around easily, as well as some supermarkets in walking distance. The place was very beautiful and spacious, and it was also very clean and provided everything we needed.

Sarah’s home was beautiful and serene, a great location to be away from the bustle (and traffic) of downtown but still very convenient to all attractions, major highways, and the airport. It is a little slice of heaven and Sarah is a delightful host. She treated us like family and was so kind and hospitable! We appreciated the smart tv and comfortable beds. She even had electrical adapters for us to use. We will definitely stay with Sarah again when we return!

We enjoyed our stay here for 8 nights. It was easy to take the bus into the city center and a good place to stay to see the sights in and around Dublin. The downstairs actually ended up being a little more spacious than I was expecting. It was nice to have a half bath downstairs. While the kitchen was small with not a lot of counterspace, it had all the pots/pans and dishes we needed to be able to eat some of our meals in. The beds in both bedrooms were comfy. We appreciated having an extra blanket provided as well as multiple pillows. We also had plenty of clean towels provided as well as toilet paper which is great not needing to go out and purchase more. Vera was very friendly and great with communication. The one thing to be aware of is the stairs are a little steep and narrow so you do need to be careful walking down them as I lost my footing the 1st night and slid down on my rear. Was very careful after that! Dublin is not a cheap place to stay so this was a good value.

Great time there, lovely home, close by to everything perfect for a couple staying the weekend in Dublin. Armando is a gent as a host.

Diarmuid is an amazing host - communication was quick, friendly, and helpful. The apartment was easy to find and all instructions were easy and simple to follow. We had an amazing stay, the apartment was clean, modern and had everything you need for a trip away. The location of the apartment is very central to the city centre and everything in walking distance. Thanks again for making our experience unforgettable.

Spacious apartment in a cool old building near the heart of Dublin. Very lively neighbourhood; surrounded by tons of pubs, cafes, etc. Alex was a great host. Would definitely stay there again!

Helen’s place was perfect for our family of five, with three kids ages 5, 9, and 12! It was in a great location across from Christchurch Cathedral and a nice walk from all the sites we visited, including Temple Bar, Trinity College, Grafton Street, the Guinness Storehouse, EPIC Museum/Jeanie Johnston, etc. The place was perfectly laid out for our family with its two bedrooms and good-sized living space and dining room table. In addition to the space and location being great, Helen was so lovely, helpful, and easy to work with! Half way through our stay our youngest broke something in the apartment and Helen was so sweet and understanding about it! :) I highly recommend booking Helen’s place!

We loved Henry’s place so much. It was so close to everything , the Dublin Castle is literally on the same road and all the restaurants and shops are a short walk away. It’s tussled in the back alley which means it was very quiet and peaceful and it was easy to access and the elevators were so convenient . We would definitely stay there again. Clean and responsive host as well.

This is a lovely, sunny, spacious apartment in a quiet, first-class building. Everything in the unit was pristine and modern. Convenient kitchen with new appliances and well-appointed bathroom. The large bedroom has generous closets, blackout curtains, and very comfortable bed. The location is unbeatable, with St Stephen’s Green, Trinity College, museums, shopping and restaurants just steps away and most major attractions within walking distance. Highly recommended.

The apartment is very centrally located! Easy to find, it has everything you need! Excellent for tel people! Clean and very cute!! I would highly reccomended!

This apartment is centrally located to whatever you want to do in Dublin. You can walk anywhere or hop on a bus; very convenient! Andrew answered all of my questions super quick. We enjoyed our stay!

Had a great stay at Denise’s place in Dublin. The central location and 2 separate beds were what stood out when we picked it - and both the bed and pullout were very comfortable. Denise made everything easy - super responsive & clear communication, there were lots of thoughtful touches (two full length mirrors! Milk & coffee!), and the location was ideal for walking around and sightseeing.

Excellent location to walk to/from and catch buses/taxis to/from. Despite being near everything it was exceptionally quiet. Host was extremely responsive, especially with recommendations when our flight arrived a little late and without our luggage for 2 days! Our stay was awesome and look forward to future visits. Thanks for letting us stay in your home.

Had the Best stay. Brian was extremely helpful and sent us info on places to go . This unit is central and so convenient, we could walk everywhere . We had a wonderful stay here . And Brian is a Fantastic host

David's place was exactly as described. Great location in the Portobello neighbourhood and was easy to get into central Dublin. Also great transportation to other areas via the bus. David was very flexible when we had to change our booking from Sept 2024 to May 2025. He was extremely welcoming when we checked in (provided a bottle of wine!) and very responsive when we accidentally locked ourselves out on the last day of our stay!! We stayed for 6 nights and appreciated the kitchen amenities and the very comfortable bed :) We would highly recommend David's place if you are travelling to Dublin.

Amazing location right across from Trinity and down the street from Temple Bar. Easy to get to by bus from the airport and near the local commute trains. Very secure apartment. Apartment was clean, tidy, and had all listed amenities. Would stay here again!

This place is perfect if you want to be in the heart of temple bar and in walking distance to a lot of the local attractions! I was here on business and it was a great central place to be that made it easy to go from meeting to meeting while also getting to enjoy Dublin! Clark was so kind and attentive! I definitely recommend staying here! It’s a very comforting homy apartment!
