You can walk to cross-country skiing trails in 10 minutes. The large lift system of the city is reached in 20 minutes by car. There are several nice fishing waters, including Dammån and Häggsåssjön. The lake is 7 km away. There is a nice beach and barbecue areas. From Fjällgården it takes 15 minutes to the kalfjället. There, you can hike on marked trails and look for reindeer.
