There is plenty to do: guided tours of the castle and rock cellar, the hiking paradise starts right outside the door, rock climbing, baking bread, and much more.

Hiking, biking, climbing and culture in Franconia

Apartment, on the first floor, two open sleeping areas (no closed rooms) climbing roof, balconies in all directions. A steep staircase leads to the sleeping roof! However, the double sofa bed is in the lower living area. Garden area with fireplace, outdoor sauna. Fully equipped kitchen, with gas stove. Spices are available, but you have to bring your own coffee. In summer, the service water is heated via the solar system. It may take some time for the heating to start when it is cloudy.

The newly renovated house is located in Gräfenberg, the gateway to Franconian Switzerland, about 25 km from the Nuremberg metropolitan region. Perfect to reach by car or train. The house offers 4 bedrooms (three upstairs, one in the basement), a large living room with dining area, bathroom, kitchen and a conservatory and terrace with fantastic views! Bicycles can be safely stored in the lockable shed. Bed linen, towels and shower towels are provided, hairdryer is available.

Apartment in a heritage-listed house near Erlangen

The apartment is located on the ground floor of a former schoolhouse dating from 1888. The apartment is ideally located between Franconian Switzerland (a popular climbing and hiking area), Erlangen (university, Siemens) and Nuremberg (trade fair, Christmas market). It owes its special charm to the many architectural elements (e.g. Franconian floorboards). The garden invites you for breakfast, barbecue and relaxation, the direct surroundings for extensive hikes and bike tours.

In the XL apartment you will find plenty of space for the family reunion or the excursion with friends in four double rooms (each with 1 double bed 1.60 m x 2 m). Bookable from four people (four double rooms as single rooms on request). A spacious lounge with open kitchen, large dining table and living area provide a feel-good atmosphere. Two daylight bathrooms and two separate toilets offer plenty of comfort. The communal garden can be reached via the hallway.

The apartment Haus Anna is located on the eastern outskirts of Gräfenberg and is the ideal starting point for your activities in Franconian Switzerland and the Nuremberg metropolitan region. Here, outdoor enthusiasts (climbing, cycling, hiking, fossil collectors, etc.)families with children, as well as city travelers (e.g. Nuremberg, Forchheim, Lauf an der Pegnitz, Bamberg) get their money's worth and find the right mix of nature experience and sightseeing.

Holiday apartment in the Scheunenviertel

The self-contained apartment is located on the 3rd floor within our apartment building. It is totally renovated and 53m². Next to the bed in the bedroom is a sofa in the living room. It is a good starting point for extensive hikes, climbing tours and excursions. Some of them start right outside the front door. CAR parking spaces are in the immediate vicinity. For bicycles, there are storage facilities in the entrance of the house (indoors).

Chalet Vogelnest with private sauna & hot tub

Wellness chalet on 73 m² with its own wellness equipment. A Finnish sauna, hot tub and a crackling fireplace provide quiet, relaxing moments. Surrounded by natural, unique and high-quality furnishings and a fully equipped kitchen, everything has been thought of. Towels, bedding, bathrobes and slippers are already there. Outside, you can enjoy your first coffee or wine in the evening in comfort on the large balcony or terrace.

Stephan and Michael have created a wonderful apartment with loving attention to detail. Together with Stephan's wife Christiane, we now offer this to guests for a lovely time in Gräfenberg.
