Cabin vacation rentals in Gothenburg

This is a beautiful, cosy and quiet place with a very friendly and helpful host who makes you feel at home. Selim showed us everything and communication with him was always on point. The house is very clean, with everything you need inside and more. An easy to use sauna, barbecue, big tv with many channels (and possibility to log in to Netflix etc.), and a terrace with a beautiful lake view. Then a nice touch with a swing with the view, and possibility to watch wild animals coming to drink from the lake. We were sad to leave, hope to come back soon.

We (2adults with kids 8 and 5 years old) spent one week in this cozy cottage. We had such a great time full of peace joy and happiness. If you like to enjoy the Sweden nature on its best you need to stay at this beautiful place. The included canoe and outdoor kitchen were absolutely highlights. The lake is not that much good for a fishing trip cause it seems to be empty of fish. Unfortunately. But we saw a moose in the wild instead. The self check in was simple and all the other things you need to know how to use were unmistakeable declared. Thank you both for an unforgettable week

Cabin is cozy and has everything you need, for long or short stay. Private. Very calm surroundings with 3 friendly horses as neighbours. Location fit me well, as I came with car. Alf is carring and friendly host.

Incredibly cosy cottage on a beautiful island. Private, quiet and remote place to relax. Leila was incredibly helpful with instructions to find the cottage, boat times and local recommendations. Showers were separate to the cottage in communal facility, and were clean and available whenever needed. No shop on the island and so need to come prepared with provisions, kitchen in the cottage is very clean and comfortable to use with everything that was needed. The local restaurant was fantastic (limited opening times at the time of year we went).

We stayed 3 nights (2 adults and 2 teens and cockerpoo) in the beautiful cottage, which is surrounded by nature. Every morning, we could walk to the bridge in less than 5 minutes and take a refreshing morning dip. Short distance to good hiking trails and to Marstrand. Annelie and Pelle were very sweet and welcoming and we even got a guided hike with Annelie in the area as well as good tips for activities. The cottage is well suited for mini holidays. If you are going to be more than 2 people for a long time, you may miss a sofa or more soft chairs. We'd love to come another time.

100% in line with my expectation. A cozy and tranquil lake house with stunning view. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Wanted to try boating however weather not permitted. Television didn’t work this time with wireless connection, we opted to the radio instead. Full amenities provided. Plenty of trails and other small lakes around. Close to towns if you need grocery shopping. Would definitely like to visit again! Thank you Claudia and Micheal.

We stayed in Ingrid's house over a weekend with families in three generations as part of a 70th birthday celebration - everyone was incredibly happy with the stay, and Ingrid was a top host who responded quickly and kindly and gave an incredibly helpful and pleasant impression. The house is very beautiful and peaceful, but with all the modern amenities you could wish for. Everything really matched the expectations from the listing. If it had been closer (now just over 5 hours by car and two small children) I would not have hesitated to come back, and I highly recommend Ingrid and the accommodation!

We had a great stay at the lake cottage. We enjoyed the amazing view from the cabin and the beautiful nature. There were many opportunities for activities we walked the lake around, boating, being in the hot tub and sauna with a deep in the lake. An absolutely amazing place that we would like to visit again: -)

We had an incredible week, the place is beautiful, removed from everything but not from the essential, tranquility. We used the jacuzzi every night at midnight and the sun was still there, shy but present. The accommodation is very cozy, nothing is missing, the bedding is perfect and yet we have fragile backs, the air conditioning is very appreciable at night when it is a little hot. We're less than 20 minutes away from everything. Breakfast in the morning in the sun on the terrace is really paradise here. Christian is good and kind and has a very interesting past, he has an easy smile and a very playful and cute little dog. In short, we spent a dream week in an idyllic place, go there without a second thought, you won't be disappointed. Ingrid and Yohann Thanks Christian.

The house is beautiful and wonderfully quiet, on a quasi private lake with a neighboring house. Apart from deer and birds, we have not seen any other living creatures in the time. Perfect to unwind and get rid of stress! Despite the changeable weather, we had a wonderful time, as you can also do something on worse days, e.g. drive into Gothenburg. All in all, I highly recommend this house and the location!

Oscar was very accommodating and welcoming us even though they were sick. We immediately felt at home in the cabin and the terrace - was very homely. Nice and tidy with fresh towels and bed linens! Bonus was that we got to jump on their trampoline and that there is a big nice forest just behind that you can walk in a small path. Very remote, peaceful and lovely environment! We really came in close contact to nature with just a stone's throw away. It really made our night for all of us with the forest and the distant existence! There were also utensils to cook with and make coffee etc. Also two nice and cozy cats on the property who are very cuddly and loved to be petted. We took care of the sauna ourselves and went so well! The jacuzzi was small shade of green in the water, we expected more glass clear and blue water. However, harmlessly and Oscar has a pool sensor, so we compromised the price and got along well. Great pleasure and really recommend Oscar and his cabin!

Cozy place! Great views and views from the house and terrace. Large oak with swing on the terrace, was appreciated by the children in the company. Walking distance to Småholmarna, great sea bathing. Afternoon and evening sun on the terrace for dinner. Peaceful place!

Rådanäs was our favorite host on our travels so far. We've hopping airbnbs globally every week or other week for the past 7 months, so this is a big compliment. You'll find that the property is more immaculate than can be shows on pictures. The lake, the sauna view out to the lake, the expanse of the property and everything that Rådanäs has built, and even the beautiful home itself. Another twist: Unfortunately, I sprained my ankle during my stay but fortunately Rådanäs was there to help. He made the recovery and journey around Göteborg (Gothenberg) much easier -- helping us around and dropping us off to the train station. Not that this is included lol But it is a testament to his hospitality and kindness. We look forward to returning to Sweden, and will absolutely make this our home. Thank you, Rådanäs!

The accommodation was very nice and clean when you checked in. Was very flexible when it came to check-in. The host was very helpful and always responded promptly to questions and the like. It was close to connections to Gothenburg C that went very often. So in summary, we were very happy with the accommodation and its amenities.

Have always been happy with my stay at the place of the nice couple at "Backen", I will definitely stay here again.

Such a cozy cottage and a helpful host who made it possible for me to enjoy the beautiful nature along Hyssnaleden. It was two days with lots of fresh air. I felt welcome and cared for when the rain poured down the first day. Then it was nice to get into the warmth! Fresh everywhere. A fantastic balcony and light that went above and beyond when the sun came out.

Pleasant accommodation, small cottage, very fresh and well-planned. Beautiful nature around, oh how many beautiful large rhododendrons everywhere in the gardens, and even in the forest 😊 and nice walking paths with the dog. Several small lakes around. Very helpful and accommodating host couple who even acted as a little dog guard, which we were very grateful for. We also visited Råda manor, where dogs were welcome and where we ate a good lunch on the national holiday. A short walk in beautiful surroundings from the bus. And inside Mölnlycke, we bought good bread and pastries at the stone oven bakery. Good connections into Gothenburg, in just over half an hour by bus (about a five-minute walk to the bus from the cottage, shortcut that the host informed us about.) It's great to stay like this and go to events inside Gothenburg as we did.

We had a super cozy stay with our two kids and our dog Lulu! Cozy cottage, well-cleaned, clean sheets and perfect if you want a quiet and peaceful vacation.
