Nice house in a quiet location. A great offer for the price. Only the access to the house and the parking situation are difficult. But that's just the way it is in a small village

We rented from Uwe for a weekend as a couple. The place is really special and combines design and a sense of well-being in one. We felt well taken care of at all times and will be happy to come back in the summer – for the pool season! Uwe is an excellent and extremely friendly host and the place is a wonderful gem.

A wonderful house with everything you need. The location is great for discovering nature, but also close enough to the city and the nearby swimming pool thrilled the kids. We would come back.

We had a very nice stay. Only people over 1:80m have to be careful not to bump their heads here and there. Otherwise perfect for groups even with small children!

We were received in a very friendly manner. The place is highly recommended, especially with children. The chickens , rabbits and the beautiful garden were the highlight for our son. Everything is really there in the house and you feel right at home. We will be happy to come back!

We felt very comfortable at Bärbel's place! The apartment is cozy, clean and well appointed. There are good restaurants nearby. The old town is easily accessible by bus, and you can easily walk to the narrow-gauge railway station. A clear recommendation!

Nice place and Till was very friendly, helpful, and communicative. Clean and kitchen is stocked with everything 1-2 people need in terms of cookware, cutlery, etc. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing location within short driving distance of many good hiking paths in the Harz. We had a great Pentecost weekend in Veckenstedt. The place is super clean and exactly as described. We lacked nothing in the furnishings, even the smallest were thought of (small stools at the sink, children's travel cots, trampoline/swing/playhouse, etc.). The layout of the rooms and number of bathrooms was perfect for our 10-person travel group. Beautiful excursion destinations can be reached on a short walk (even in mixed weather). Marcel (and his family) are very nice and quick to reach if you have any questions/problems. Thank you for the time.

We had a fantastic holiday week in a wonderful, fully equipped vacation home. The welcome was very warm and also during the rest of our stay siegrun and Peter responded quickly and showed interest. We had a great time in the huge house, which is super nice and above all very quiet. Everything was very clean, which was not unimportant, as we were there with two babies. The check-in was quite easy by code and we lacked nothing. The kitchen was also very well equipped, so we could cook a few meals without any problems. We've rarely had such a nice and clean Airbnb. I can definitely recommend it.

It couldn't be better! Communication and procedures around arrival and departure excellent, very good value for money. Very clean. Very generous. The separation between large kitchen and living room is great. The whole house was lovingly renovated by the owner, which you can see. Modern bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Nice linens. In the kitchen, everything you need and more (coffee, tea, plenty of dishes, glasses, Tupperware…). Parking is no problem, even for more than one car. We felt very comfortable with six adults and would come back any time.

The house is comfortably furnished, information folder is available! Quiet little town - unfortunately many shops closed! Great was the mountain for tobogganing (Kurhaus)with floodlight!

Beautiful, quiet apartment. We also felt very comfortable with three adults. It's all in one room, so you should get along well and not have a problem with refrigerator noises. There were a pleasant number of empty cupboards and drawers for our private things. The kitchen was very well equipped with pots, pans and utensils. It wasn't so scarce that we had to use the dishwasher every day. Unfortunately, our weather did not allow it, but there were also chairs and a table on the terrace. You can certainly also have a very relaxed breakfast. Several supermarkets are within walking distance. Likewise, the Teufelsmauer at the Großvaterfelsen. By car, however, many other excursion destinations can be reached in a few minutes. The accommodation and location are definitely great! Enjoy your trip! A small recommendation would be slippers or thick socks, as the floor is a little cooler. But that's definitely really good in the summer.

Niels is a good and very nice host who responds quickly to messages and with whom you can also chat nicely on site and receive tips for activities. The house is located on a quiet street and yet you can quickly get to the city, close to shopping or restaurants and just as quickly to the countryside. We had everything in the house that was needed and the retro charm of the decor, as well as the beautiful garden, we liked and both we and our dog had, despite the weather, a cozy and relaxing week, thank you for everything Niels and maybe see you again.

Super friendly hostess and a very warm welcome - we felt right at home! The cottage is cozy and lovingly furnished and well equipped. There is extensive information material on all sorts of questions. Due to the location at the entrance to the village/country road, you might have to look as a person with a light sleep. Nevertheless, we can absolutely recommend the "little break" - it was a nice and relaxing short vacation!

We were there as a group with 3 toddlers and had a great time! The playroom delighted the little ones, as did the selection of toys. Otherwise, the cottage with the ambiance invited us to cozy evenings. Directly behind the garden was the ski meadow, which also pleased our four-legged friend. Furthermore, Anna was super accessible as a host, both with questions in advance and during the time on site. Anna also always proactively shared all the necessary information. We felt very comfortable.
