Beachfront vacation rentals in Goodrington Sands

The host, Julie, was really helpful and responsive to our messages. Beautiful surroundings and the views from the chalet were incredible. We were visiting old friends and neighbours and it was an excellent base. The walk down into Shaldon along the golf course was convenient and stunning but be prepared for the walk back up!! The chalet had everything we needed and was really nicely decorated with comfy sofas and beds. Wish we were there longer and would love to go back.

Had a fantastic week at Leyside. Clean, tidy and perfect location. Stones throw from the dog friendly beach. Excellent pub, fish & chips & cafe / bar very close by. The farm shop just up the road was fab too along with the taproom & pizzeria . Not far to nearby towns & national trust properties. All in all a great place for a break .

Wonderful location and comfortable, well designed home. A little village out on its own with so much character and some great walks which are medium hard but good distances either way - to the left in the next village the Cricket Inn is delicious food and friendly staff - to the right a lighthouse. The views and beach really make this place… as well as being a close drive to Salcombe and Dartmouth. The house being is well stocked, stylish and comfortable so makes for easy living. We were a family of 7 and a dog and would highly recommend it. We did a Sainsbury’s food delivery to the house twice to make getting groceries easy and that worked perfectly too.

Stay Salty was excelent, central location and very close to a car park. Dog friendly and a beach just round the corner within easy walking distance. a couple of 100 yds. As bad weather was expected on one day Matt offered to supply extra dog towels if needed, totally unexpected but shows the level of service. Teignmouth was good and within easy reach of larger town if the need was there. Would recommend it to anyone who fancied the area along the glourous South Devon Coast.

Much enjoyed our stay - good location flat was perfect and communication with host was v helpful. No problems would recommend.

A lovely home, well equipped and close to all amenities. We had a great week there. Would thoroughly recommend though not necessarily for the less agile. Several steps in the house and steep staircase to upstairs. But has a beautiful downstairs bedroom and shower room.

The garden flat is a very pleasent place to stay. Everything in the kitchen works well, the bathroom is lovely and the bed very comfortable. The outside space is a great space to sit and watch what's happening in the estuary. Claire is a good host, friendly and amenable. The village of Shaldon is easy to walk to, with a couple of nice pubs , and friendly people. All in all, a very nice place to spend some time.

We have stayed in several airbandb’s in Teignmouth over the past few years and all have been great but Marianne’s place ticks all the boxes. It is a great location surrounded by eateries, pubs and shops. I was actually expecting it to be a bit noisy being just above a pub garden but it was actually so peaceful. The back beach is a minutes stroll and main beach not much further. We will definitely be returning.

Jen’s place is great, we absolutely loved it and felt right at home. The space is really homely and extremely spacious - we loved playing the board games when the weather wasn’t great and using the balcony when the sun popped out. Would definitely recommend and would 100% return. Thanks so much

A beautiful apartment! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean, stylish, and thoughtfully designed everything was. The space felt both cozy and luxurious, with tasteful decor, beautiful sea view, and all the amenities you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The location was also perfect and nice having the hotel next door. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. We really enjoyed our stay at Thurlstone. The apartment was ideally located on the beach making it easy for easy beach fun for the kids. They went rockpooling, swimming and made sandcastles every day. We enjoyed the views of the sunset while having dinner and drinks on the balcony. The flat was bright and spacious. We felt safe and had a comfortable stay with everything that a family of five would need. Our host was responsive, accommodating and friendly. We would stay again in a heartbeat :)

100% recommend staying here. Mark has covered absolutely everything you could wish to have. All the latest appliances, every TV option to watch.. place was absolutely spotless which is very rare in my experience staying in other rentals.. Our old dog was happy here. Place was warm, lovely bedding and towels. very close to some stunning walks, Brixham harbour is gorgeous! We would love to stay again. Mark communicated well . Fantastic host 10/10

Nicki’s apartment at Bigbury on Sea is just great. Well equipped, amazing views and in a beautiful part of Devon. Use of the indoor pool is amazing for kids, especially when the weather is a bit mixed! Nicki gave lots of info and recommendations which were super helpful. I hope to be back at Bigbury soon!

Fantastic, clean and well-equipped caravan in a beautiful setting on a fantastic site. Hayley couldn’t have been more friendly, welcoming and responsive. Ladram Bay offers so much for a young family and our children loved the site, proximity to activities and the beach. Thank you Hayley and family for sharing your holiday home. We will definitely visit again!

Emily has a lovely caravan in a quiet spot on an otherwise busy site. The caravan felt surprisingly spacious and it was great to have that second toilet available. It was also lovely and very convenient to have the shower. The site offers a lot for families with several play areas, crazy golf and swimming pools.

We spent 5 days here with our 3 children. The place was spotless, had everything we needed. Really warm and homely. The grounds of Osbourne are gorgeous, we loved the park and swimming pool. Lots of places to visit, a nice walk into town (although a little hilly so wear suitable shoes)

Our family had an amazing stay at this stunning apartment! The space was beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The view was absolutely gorgeous and even better than the photos. Sarah was incredibly helpful and responsive, offering great local recommendations and making check-in and check-out smooth and easy. I truly felt welcome and well taken care of throughout my stay her attention to detail is impeccable and the little extra touches were really thoughtful. We had a lovely stay here, we loved all the little extras which is so thoughtful. The location is amazing so close to everything. Would recommend this lovely house right by the beach and the town centre. We were there for the air show and had amazing views from the house. Stuart gave us excellent recommendations and was so helpful and kind, also responded so quickly as well.

Had a fabulous bank holiday weekend break in Brixham at Polly’s beautiful house. Well equipped kitchen made it easy for us to eat the house and Polly recommended some lovely spots to eat and drink. It’s in an excellent location for surrounding towns like Torquay and Totnes. Some nice secluded coves for swimming within 20 mins drive. Would thoroughly recommend, thanks Polly!

Great location and beautiful flat. We took our 1 year old with us and it was perfectly suited to him toddling around too. Very clean and modern interior. Would highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at Boundary cottage! It’s beautifully designed with gorgeous high quality interiors. It was just right for us - two adults and two children. Everything was provided for a child friendly stay (high chair, stair gate, travel cot, kids tableware). The cottage is compact but has made the most of all space for useful storage, it had everything we needed. Highlights for us were the beautiful bed linen, the gorgeous bathroom with uninterrupted views into the fields with the cows and the lovely walk straight out of the front door down the farm track. Our kids adored the cows and the little play area was a welcome occasional distraction!

This was the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. We use Airbnb for our trips all the time but we have never experienced such a beautiful stay. From the scenic views to quick access to the beach, the stay at this Airbnb exceeded our expectations. We really didn’t want to go home, and we will definitely come back. The Airbnb was very spacious with all the amenities you may need. The location was close to other areas and there is a coastal path on the doorstep! Definitely visit the Rio cafe that is on the beachfront and only a short walk from the Airbnb. The place was also very clean. We will be definitely coming back!

What a great location! Brixham is soaked in history (I know - I wrote a historical novel set here, A Spring Marrying, with scenes just a couple of doors down and others on the boats and in the streets right behind). This house occupies one of the most beautiful places to see it all. You get all the feel of a busy harbour, but somehow still in a peaceful setting. Everything inside is clean and new. Annie kept us well informed all along and we knew exactly what to do. Just be aware - I had a bad knee during our stay and there's no way to the house without quite a few steps. Inside the staircases are also steep, with the bathroom on the second floor. It was not a problem - but give yourself time if you have restricted mobility.

Salty Breeze was the perfect location and accommodation for my husband and I whilst spending 4 nights in Paignton Devon. It was everything and more than we could have asked for. In addition to faultless accommodation Marie the host had laid on so many "extras" for us. It was our wedding anniversary weekend and she had left us a cream team, flowers, a lovely card and a bottle of prosecco. Salty Breeze was indeed more than home from home with Marie having thought of everything. Salty Breeze is located on a bus route that would take individuals along the beach's of Torbay easily east and west .For those individuals not keen to use their car once at the location this is a splendid place. The annual Torbay Air show was on the weekend we stayed. The weather was amazing and Torbay Council did an amazing job with Air Show and all its attractions. We will for sure at Salty Breeze if we visit the area again.
