Cabin vacation rentals in Golden

In a word - dreamy. A beautifully constructed and decorated log cabin on a spacious private property in the mountains with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay - a well maintained hot tub, fire pit, covered wraparound porch with lots of seating - not to mention the gorgeous interior with fully stocked kitchen, games, books, DVDs, extra blankets and cushions…Kaymin was an incredibly thoughtful host- very responsive, provided lots of suggestions for local activities and had a bottle of wine and charcuterie waiting for us when we arrived. Need I say more?

Stunning. Spacious and comfortable with everything you could need. The garden is large with beautiful mountain views. Julie was a great host with recommendations of local walks which was a great way to start our mornings. Winding down in the hot tub with fabulous views each evening was perfect. We hope to return!

Ron’s place was a great home base for our group on vacation exploring Glacier and Yoho National Park! Our favorite room was the pool table room to relax and lounge after a full day hiking. It was also great having the grill, hot tub and outdoor space. A fun bonus was the trail in the backyard was great to use to walk to the wolf sanctuary. Would stay here again!

The cozy cabin is just like the listing - maybe better! The cabin is quiet, secluded and about a 20 minute drive into Golden. Golden is a quaint and growing town with great coffee, bakeries and local owned shops. We used the hot tub daily after hiking and taking in the views of Yoho and Glacier National Park. Loved our stay.

Absolute gem ! It was more then expected. I really wish we booked for a longer stay. I can't say enough about the stunning view. Great to take in reading by the window or lounging on the patio or relaxing in the hot tub. I even had a little truck trouble on departure and they were quick to help out with was a delightful experience and would recommend a stay 100 %.

Fantastic stay for a larger group! The place has everything you need and more. Would recommend buying water bottles from the store nearby unless you mind a slight salty taste to your water.

Paola was extremely friendly and provided plenty of recommendations on what to do in the area. The property was beautiful and great for an escape from the business of the city.

Everything was great. The Wifi wasn't the best, but otherwise it was a great experience.

We had plans to travel to Lake Louise however deferred LL in lieu of spending the full day, as we (all 4) fell in love instantly on arrival to the cabin. The tranquility, with the horses in the adjacent paddock and the snow capped mountains in the distance…it was perfect. Everything in the house is well suited to a long stay, with well sized washer and dryer, full size fridge. The beds were super comfortable and the back deck got plenty of use. Restaurants and supermarkets a short 15minute drive away.

We loved Rick and Watson’s place! Rick was so sweet and the place itself was gorgeous, clean and very cozy. A great place to stay if wanting to check out Banff and the surrounding parks. We didn’t want to leave the stay was so great - we also wanted to take Watson home with us 🐶 We hope to be back one day - thank you for everything Rick!!!

When we drove to the "Raven's Roost" house in Golden, we were excited. When we left it after three days we were thrilled and loved it. A perfect place to relax in the middle of nature surrounded by forest and a view of the impressive Golden mountains. The house with its log cabin style fits in perfectly. Golden is less than a 10-minute drive away. There, you can find everything you need for life – we especially enjoyed the walks along the newly designed River Walk. We were thrilled by the fantastic sunlight in the mornings and evenings. And we really liked the matching log cabin style of the house. Everything was soooo harmonious and tasteful. There is a large terrace with a perfectly functioning propane grill. We've taken unforgettable excursions from here passing through a mountain landscspe whose beauty defies all imagination. We congrat everyone who found "Raven's Roost"!

Tina was an exceptional host. Communicative, and thoughtful. She was incredibly friendly, made us feel welcome, and even checked in during our stay to ensure everything was going well. The cabin was great clean, cozy, and well-equipped. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again!

Stayed 3 nights and didn’t want to leave! Absolutely beautiful and peaceful property and surroundings. Mosquitos were a thing in the evening, but calm, sunny morning breakfasts on the porch were glorious. I super appreciated Kaley’s suggestion for a local cold creek dip! Would not hesitate to book this sweet cabin again next time I’m through Golden.

Very cozy and beautiful cabin, clean and comfortable. I believe it is newly renovated. It was a bit far in from the main road. Cabin needs to be more insulated to keep bugs out. There were a few harmless bugs. Missing garbage bags and bins in rooms. There’s big windows for natural lights which is beautiful however I would strongly recommend adding shades and curtains for changing and sleeping at night. We were not that comfortable with having no curtains on the windows, especially at night. Otherwise the cabin is absolutely beautiful and cozy. Definitely would recommend Tyler. Also, restaurants are ok, I am a food freak so my taste buds is completely different.

Porcupine chalet was lovely and private, great snowshoe trails right close by, dog loved it. Easy pre cut wood stock for kiddling if you need more, ran into our host on the skii hill and they were warm and welcoming ! 10/10 would go back.

Liza's place was great! The best part is that Liza really tries to think of everything! The place is so well stocked and including bug and bear spray, which is just such a great touch. The kitchen has everything you need. Liza was very kind and helpful throughout the entire stay. It was a quick drive to downtown Golden which had restaurants and coffee shops and not too far from Yoho and Banff.

Our stay in Golden was absolutely amazing. The location is perfect—right off the highway—which made it an ideal stop on our road trip from Edmonton to Salmon Arm. It was exactly what we needed: convenient, comfortable, and beautifully set up. If you’re making that drive, I can’t recommend this place enough. Do yourself a favour and stop here—you won’t regret it. We’ll definitely be back!

Perfect for our girls trip! Great location to go to and from Golden, Banff National Park, and Yoho National Park. Mountains on all sides made for a beautiful view. The cabin was comfortable, and the grill and kitchen supplies made for a great burger night! Tina and Steve were very responsive.

The cabin was absolutely delightful. Being right on the river with glass everywhere in the cabin, including the sauna, made for a lovely experience.
