Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Gisborne

Rosie's Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. The property was easy to find, very well equipped with not even a speck of dust, and in peaceful surroundings. We loved walking on the 4WD trail leading from the property, having breakfast at the table on the verandah, watching Netflix on the couch, and cooking in the kitchen. Our dog also loved being able to run off-lead in the enclosed back yard. It was also lovely to meet Sonya when we arrived.

Returning for our second visit to The Hut and thoroughly enjoyed as much as the first. We relaxed in front of the fire in the outdoor area and forgot about the outside world in the peaceful setting and watching the kangaroos hop by. The property is lovely to walk around with the dog and check out the new Little Springs area by the dam, perfect for a summer evening. Meredith is only a short drive away and can recommend the Rustic Ram for great meal. We were happy to see our host Geoff again who is warm and welcoming and so easy to communicate with. The Hut has everything you need for a peaceful weekend retreat. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend Cath’s place for anyone looking for a cozy stay in the area. The property was delightful, the cottage completely charming and equipped with every amenity you could possibly need! This was one of the most well kept and thoughtfully designed Airbnbs I’ve stayed at. On top of this, Cath is so friendly, helpful and very welcoming!

Eric couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful. Their starter kitchen breakfast was perfect and delicious. The house was spotlessly clean, and the bedding extremely comfortable. We’d flown over from Scotland, so comfort was important. I would highly recommend staying here.

Stunning home thats well designed and lets you take in the beauty of the area. Everything we needed and was a very pleasant stay. Town has only one shop which is charming but just a 10 min drive to everything you could need. Top spot.

It is our second stay at Sylvia's place and we are already planning our third. It is beautifully set out and clean with country views out each window and comfy beds. Fabulous heating kept us warm on a cold weekend. We couldn't ask for a more responsive host. Seating in the lounge is suitable for 6 people only but plenty of seating at the dining table. We were very impressed with the emergency lighting when our power went out for a short time in the area.

We loved this place! The house was exactly as descried - it has all the amenities needed, including a fully equipped kitchen which is great for a nice dinner in! The accommodation was very clean and cozy, perfect for a winter getaway. The host was amazing and very helpful! We had very clear instructions so there was never a need to ask any questions. We loved the little things that were provided such as milk (of choice) on arrival as well as a pack of lovely hot chocolate and marshmallows - a great little touch! We would definitely stay again :)

I took my elderly mum to stay. Kirby was amazing and made up my mums bed with blankets and provided a shower chair. The heating and lights were on and Kirby provided milk, butter, jam and a loaf of bread and coffee beans for the coffee machine. The beds were extremely comfortable. We had a really lovely stay. Communication slow while we were there. No dramas though and it wasn't a problem. Not sure if the messages were going through. But everything was great. Lots of instructions which were easy to follow and I would absolutely recommend Kirby and her beautiful home and would love to stay there again. Thank you for a lovely time away.

We were in Melbourne for a sports event in St Kilda. This was in perfect location, walking distance from really nice places to eat and drink, as well as the St Kilda beach. Really nicely presented place. Enjoyed our stay.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt at home and relaxed. Everything we could possibly need was provided and the chocolates on arrival was a sweet touch! Narelle was friendly and replied to us promptly. Our first impression when we walked through this place was clean, bright and beautiful as shown in the pics! Thanks for a lovely, relaxing stay and we will definitely be back and recommend to our family and friends! Just beautiful! :)

Lewis went above and beyond what was required - we had long air flights across time zones so he made sure we had the instructions for the lock box. The flat is very close to lots of eateries and Lewis has details of which streets to look along. It’s close to the CBD and just opposite a large park, and the flat is lovely inside. A great place to stay.

The apartment is located in downtown Melbourne, in a very new high rise and was impeccably clean. There is a small IGA a few doors down and some good bars and restaurants close by, as well as only 2 blocks from the Southern Cross station and the river. Although it is relatively sparsely furnished, it has everything that we needed for a short break, and the gym in the building is much better than most hotel gyms. Chris was very responsive and allowed us to leave our luggage because our flight arrived in Melbourne early. Although it didn't impact us because we were out an about for most of the day, there is no TV (but a piano if you are musically inclined) and while the bed was comfortable, it was like a futon on the floor, so it may not be ideal for older people with mobility issues. The price was amazing for such a nice apartment on a high floor in central Melbourne, and I would definitely recommend the apartment.

Overall a nice place to stay. Peter was super responsive and he replace the shampoo immediately when I told him it ran out.

Spotlessly clean with very helpful & prompt communication from hosts. A lift up to unit from basement carparking. Spotlessly clean, with many well thought out extras. Comfortable lounge seating & a perfect out door area. I would highly recommend it to potential guests ... travelling by car ( easy parking)... plus coming by tram or train from city ( stops & station very close). Thank you hosts Dean & Kristen

Words truly aren’t enough to express how happy and welcomed we felt at your beautiful cottage. We had the most amazing time there, and Marina and Malcolm have honestly been the best hosts we’ve ever had through Airbnb. They were incredibly kind, thoughtful, and helpful from start to finish. The cottage was absolutely immaculate—spotless, cozy, and perfectly prepared for our stay. The location is stunning, surrounded by peaceful nature, with breathtaking views, birds, and even kangaroos! We especially loved spending time by the fire pit and relaxing with our dogs in such a serene and magical environment. To top it all off, Marina and Malcolm went above and beyond by baking us fresh bread and leaving us a variety of delicious treats to enjoy. It was such a warm and generous gesture that made us feel truly special. If we could rate this stay 100 stars, we absolutely would. Thank you again for an unforgettable weekend—we can’t wait to come back!

Our stay at Norsu Cabin was like the warm hug you didn’t know you needed. From the moment we pulled up outside we all collectively sighed a sigh of relief - this cabin has that kind of effect on you. The interiors are GORGEOUS beyond measure. The kitchen has everything you need (and more). The generous gifts on arrival were unexpected, appreciated, and have been gratefully brought home to help us re-live what was a gorgeous long weekend. The kids cooked marshmallows over fire pits, climbed the cubby house & squealed with delight as they bounced on the trampoline. The bathrooms were pristine (and the water hot), the belly fire cosy and warm, the beds so very very comfortable, and the cosy rugs the perfect thing to take outside to read a book with a glass of wine as the sun went down. The bath outside was incredible - I’ll never forget the “star bath” moment I had with one of my young children - it was an extraordinary experience. Loved it all!

I had a very enjoyable stay. The room was thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. It was peaceful, quiet and private with a lovely view of the forest, yet very close to shops and restaurants. Shellie was a wonderful host and I would gladly stay again.

Rustic, charming, intimate cabin nestled on a hobby farm made me feel down to earth again. Roaring fire, home-made cookies and easygoing owners welcomed us after exploring the very many dog-friendly trails and gardens in the area. Big thank you, just what we needed.

It would be the perfect spot for a weekend getaway and digital detoxing. It only 10mins by walk from the closest public transportation (bus). The town is beautiful and calm with some cozy cafes making the property a beautiful spot to get some peace from daily hustle. Sharon was extremely helpful with providing instructions and answering all my questions patiently, which made getting there less stressful. I would definitely recommend this place (I have already recommended it to a few friends).

I really enjoyed my stay and really appreciated the quiet serenity and privacy offered at Botanica Retreat. The gardens are beautiful offering a very peaceful setting and was exactly what I needed for my break. It’s very close to the village, close to walking paths and has everything you need. It’s very homey, beautifully appointed furniture, linens, decor etc, and Karen offers some really nice touches to make it feel like home. Will definitely be back!
