It was going from a home to another home❤️ if you are planning on staying with Nikki, don’t hesitate to book. Not only was she incredibly welcoming, she made me feel so at peace and comfortable. Upon arrival I was offered tea, a friendly conversation and a hot water bottle ready in my bed for the cold Scottish weather! She made sure I was always warm enough throughout my stay even going as far as to offer me a luxury wooden jumper! The place is cozy, with fascinating books to indulge in and Dagmar to keep you company 🐈 breakfast was provided and I was encouraged to treat the space like my own. Nikki’s place has a wonderful view to the surrounding nature and the inside is full of colour and character! Shower was wonderful and I was welcomed to use the Scottish cosmetics! She was always on hand if I needed to ask anything or felt unsure, prepared to advice with activities to do. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to rest yourself, staying with a local, then here it is.

I’ve stayed in quite a few Airbnbs and this was by far my best experience so far. I stayed for 2 months and worked remotely from Hudson’s flat and it was perfect. The work space was comfortable and the set up is really nice with the extra monitor and speakers. I had zero issues with internet connection and the speed is phenomenal. There’s a lot of cafes, shops, parks, bus stops and subway stations within walking distance. The ScotRail station is only a 30 minute walk away and I utilized it a lot during my stay to go on various hikes outside the city. The kitchen is well equipped with everything I needed to cook every meal. The neighbors are all quiet though you might hear the outside door shut a little loudly now and again. Hudson was very friendly, communicative and easy going. He made sure I had everything I needed and was quick to respond and help if I needed anything or even had questions about the area. I will definitely be returning here as soon as I can.

It was a pleasant stay with Malcolm. He is a great host — very welcoming and helpful from the moment I arrived. He took the time to explain everything about the house and the surrounding area, even showing me the nearby shops and how to get there. One of the highlights was the Clyde Canal nearby, which is perfect for a peaceful walk and also leads to a nearby Tesco store — very convenient for daily needs. What really stood out was Malcolm’s kindness in taking me around by car to explore the West End of Glasgow, helping me find good areas for rental accommodation. The room was very clean and comfortable, and I truly enjoyed my time there. Malcolm also recommended some great places to look for long-term rentals. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend staying with him!

Edith’s apartment was homely and easy to navigate. The bedroom was a nice size, had good lighting and a tall window. It had ample storage space. My sleeps were comfortable. I have no complaints about the Wi-Fi either. The kitchen had good space to cook and eat, was well organised, well maintained and had all the basics (in terms of cutlery, condiments etc.). The bathroom was clean. The shower was easy to figure out, and I liked the water tempreature. The hosting was fantastic. Edith responded fast. She was clear and understanding of my needs, and she told me how things worked. You could ask any question. Also, she was in good company: other people at the apartment, who had been there longer than me, made the nights enjoyable. They were kind, affable, interesting and funny. I wish I got to know them more. The atmosphere added much to my stay. I’d gladly book a reservation again.
