We had an awesome stay, May Long weekend, at Darren’s Off Grid Cottage. Right on the lake with a great dock to watch the sun go down. It really was a great setup to enjoy all the pleasures of a weekend away in the woods. Great location for getting out for day trips around a beautiful spot in Ontario. Thanks Darren!

Lovely quiet place to stay. Twyla was an excellent hostess. She ensured we had everything we needed and knew where everything was. Lovely path down to the river.

It was wonderful to return to Vira's beautiful cottage again this summer. We enjoyed kayaking, yard games, and evening fires. The cottage is very clean and had everything we needed. The front porch is great to enjoy a morning coffee or to sit outside even if it rains. Vira is a very responsive and kind host who readily answered any questions we had. Thanks again for an awesome family vacation!

The house is absolutey stunning. We all loved both the indoor and outdoor space. We loved all being able to be together and the space was really made for gatherings so if you are looking for that then look no further. Additionally, we loved the small touches like the pictures of how the house was built! The glass walls really make it a one of a kind experience. Aaron, the host, was great to communicate with! Only suggestion if you read this is to bring your bug spray!

We had an AMAZING stay at the Loon' Nest. The cottage was extremely comfortable and well equipped, with everything we could have possibly needed and more. The cottage grounds are gorgeous, perfect for enjoying yourself. The lake was beautiful and full of loons. And the variety of boats/water crafts was awesome. We will definitely be back - we enjoyed ourselves so much!

Marlene is a super nice host, always ensuring her guests have an excellent time, and goes above and beyond for her guests. The cabin is very warm and cozy. It had everything we needed like a fully stocked kitchen with appliances and seasoning with modern amenities like a microwave and electric stovetop. We were delighted for the perfect mix of rustic and modern experience. My partner and I enjoyed the whole experience so much and we even extended to stay one more night. We went tobogganing, hiking, and watched 8-10 VHS movies! (Marlene has a wide range of good VHS collections!!) We spent a great time there and can’t wait to visit again soon!

The cottage was peaceful, private, and fully stocked with all the daily use stuff we forgot to pack (a lifesaver, honestly). Only letdown? The weather. Still, the vibes were right, and we made the most of it. Definitely would book again.
