It was good as it used to be. Recommended for large groups.

This time, I was able to meet with my company colleagues for the first time in several years.I was talking about how I wanted a calm space as I was getting older, and I booked it from the site.It was a place to stay that exceeded my expectations in a good way!It was a relaxing space, and it was also a space where you could feel nature, so I had a very meaningful time!Access to supermarkets, convenience stores, stations, etc. was also easy! This time, I stayed alone. The accommodation and garden were very clean, and we had a pleasant stay. I was soothed by the tastefully arranged plants, the nice interior, and the rich nature that can be seen from the window while relaxing on the sofa. I was able to have a luxurious time for myself in a solo retreat. Time passed slowly, and I felt like I was back to my childhood, and I was impressed by Tomoko's kindness. Thanks to Tomoko, we had a wonderful time.Thank you!

Ms. Keiko welcomed us and kindly showed us around the house. We had the whole space for ourselves and could enjoy talking until late night. It was a wonderful stay in very natural surroundings.

It is a safe and secure inn where you can get in touch with the manager immediately, just as pictured.

If you're looking to get away from basically everything, this is the place. Surrounded by beautiful mountains, next to a rushing river, it's nothing like the big cities and millions of people rushing this way and that you might associate with Japan. That said, that also means there isn't a lot to _do_ in Nagiso or Tsumago, other than hike and see some local sights, and local transit can be a little patchy. The place itself is beautiful and comfortable, literally right next to the JR station, with a full-featured kitchen (a local supermarket is right down the street), comfy beds, big projector screen for a night of chilling out (e. g. after hiking in the rain, as we did)! There's also a nice recently reopened café next door, and some restaurants (though don't expect very long opening hours) too. Small note - if you're _very_ sensitive to traffic/industrial noise, be aware there's a somewhat major highway next to the house. Traffic does die down in the night though.

Great house, big and you can experience Japanese life, just the sunrise is early in the summer, it would be even better if the bedroom had better blackout curtains!

Noriko was a fabulous host. Her house was spotless and I very much enjoyed the rural and local surrounding area. She was easy to communicate with, responded promptly and even gave tips for what to do in the area.

We used it for 8 people. There were 3 bedrooms, and the bedding was clean, so it was very comfortable. There are also two washrooms and two toilets, so even large groups can use them without any problems. In addition, there were many dishes and cooking utensils, and it was easy to use. One thing I noticed was that the wall was painted with something like plaster, but it got powder on it when I touched it.(It will come off if you wash it) I thought it would be kinder to have a written notice. They came to see me off after I finished using it, and handled me very politely. I want to use it again.Thank you very much.

Our host was always so responsive and helpful. The place is amazing we had such a good time enjoying this characteristic old Japanese building renovated to a high standard offering lots of comfort. If I am to visit Nagoya again, I will definitely choose here.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this house in a village near Kyoto. The home is incredibly cozy and spacious, with a stunning inner garden that brings such peace and serenity — a perfect place to relax and unwind. The house is in excellent condition and spotlessly clean. It beautifully blends traditional architecture with modern comforts and technologies. The hosts were extremely welcoming and kind. I couldn’t be happier with our stay — we enjoyed every moment and left with unforgettable memories. Highly recommended!

It was close to the station, and a quiet and nice place. We had a comfortable time without any inconvenience at check-in or during our stay. I was able to communicate smoothly with the owner, so I was able to interact with peace of mind.

We spent one night in Yutaro's beautiful traditional home. Lots of space available and I really liked the traditional side of this house. Environment is very quiet and relaxing. Thanks for the great time. I would recommend this house.

Our stay here was absolutely lovely. The villa is even more lovely than in the pictures, was super clean and had great amenities. The host was so friendly and helpful and very responsive over message. We really enjoyed how beautiful and peaceful the area is, and there are lots of lovely local cafes and restaurants a short drive away, as well as lots of hiking opportunities. We would love to stay here again if we are ever back in Japan. Thanks so much!

We stayed at Chika's beautiful little house for only two nights, but we absolutely loved it. The house has a great Japanese ambiance and is well equiped and super clean. The location is also great. It's just a few steps to the main streets and interesting sites in Takayama, but at the same time it is very quiet, because the house is not directly situated on a street. Overall definitely a place to recommend!

It is surrounded by rice fields, and the grounds and the house are very spacious, so we had a relaxing time.Water, local sweets and coffee were provided, and although it was a private home, it was full of hospitality and we had a pleasant time.The price was also cheap and very good.

Two families visited as a place to stay while skiing at Jam Katsuyama, and Chiz was very polite and welcoming. It was a snowy day, so the children played in the snow from morning. There are also decorations at the entrance, and the traditional Japanese house is carefully used. On the other hand, the bath and water areas were renovated with the latest equipment, and the futons were very clean and comfortable. I think people from overseas will also be happy because they can experience traditional Japanese housing.

Aki's and Tom's place was amazing, And shall I say the most beautiful Airbnb I ever been, they have been friendly understanding 11/10 would recommend coming here!!

They responded quickly and kindly to our questions and requests. During my stay, I had no problems, and they introduced me to a few recommended shops, which was very helpful. I stayed with 5 colleagues for training, and we were able to relax and talk to each other without worrying about anyone, and we were able to share a fun time! It was nice to stay here! It is also close to the morning market and the old town, which is convenient, and I would recommend it to everyone. Thank you! If I had to be selfish, I thought it would be nice to have a bath chair (this was an opinion that was divided among my colleagues).
