House vacation rentals in Gentilly, New Orleans

This was our second time staying at one of Thomas' properties, and we had another great stay. The home is beautifully decorated and maintained, and has everything you need for an easy and enjoyable stay. Thomas was very accommodating with check-in time and our last-minute request for a pack n' play -- a fantastic host! We found the neighborhood very friendly, and enjoyed the proximity to the Lafitte Greenway (access is just a block away -- we didn't even realize this when we rented the place!) and local businesses like Flour Moon and the Broadside. Highly recommend!

Sara & Mark are New Orleans to the core. They keep a lovingly decorated and beautiful historic house, they love their city and they want you to enjoy yourself. So kind, so accommodating, so thoughtful. They're a class act all the way. The house is but a few steps away from one of the most beautiful parks in the country, and well-situated for exploring the most fascinating city in the country. Do yourself a favor and bring (or rent) a bicycle, and pedal all over the area.

This was my family’s second stay at Robert’s place and it was just as great as the first stay. So much to do in the area. Convenient to restaurants and shopping this time we got to enjoy the pool which was a wonderful respite after a long day on the town.

Great location! Love the neighborhood and how close it was to city park. Great restaurants nearby too. Great host!! Allowed us to drop our bags off before check-in. Loved hanging out on the patio in the evening as well. Private and pretty.

Comfortable and perfectly located in a great area! We had everything we needed for a family vacation. The pool and spa worked great and we just took one morning to swim, relax, and visit with each other in that awesome tropical backyard. We had a car so we didn’t need transportation but we did walk to the streetcar one day, plus it would be easy to Uber/Lyft from Gary’s place to the popular locations in New Orleans. We didn’t cook, because, frankly, why would you in food paradise when the local restaurants do it so well, but the kitchen was well stocked should you want to cook. We had fun using the game table, TVs, and sound system. Everything was a hit with our kids who were with us to celebrate their recent college graduations. We would stay here again for any occasion but the end of May was the perfect time for warm weather AND the end of crawfish season which we were thrilled to miss. Thanks, Gary!

Spacious and well appointed home. Lisa provided everything that was needed. The house is centrally located to all the major attractions including the French Quarter. The off street parking was a real plus and made parking a breeze unlike most locations around the French Quarter. Loved that this was a 2.5 bath home with a private bath in each bedroom. Bedrooms are on opposite sides of the home providing plenty of privacy. We would stay at this location again.

The apartment is in a great location and was perfect for our needs. It’s a well appointed space and it felt like home for our brief 2 night visit. Will definitely try to stay here again for one of our many visits to New Orleans.

This place was perfect. Clean when we walked in, not far from French Quarter so when we were ready to socialize we could but it was so quiet at the Airbnb it was perfect when you were over it! Every thing you need is walkable. This place was perfect and will be my go to when I come back!

The duplex was very nice. It was decorated with local art and furnishings that really went well with the New Orleans vibe. The kitchen was really well stocked with all cooking and eating tools you would ever need and there were even some beverages, spices, and milk (oat milk and regular!!). We really appreciated that toiletries were all included as well as plenty of towels, toilet paper, soaps, lotions, shampoo/conditioner, etc. The bed and furniture were comfy. Olandra was very good with communication, recommendations, etc. We really enjoyed the stay.

such a quaint house with lots of character. Enjoyed the location. easy walking to City Park and lots of restaurants and stores nearby. We enjoyed the privacy this little home gave us and all the amenities that were provided. Highly recommend!

The house was beautiful - if anything, I feel like it *exceeded* my expectations. Super spacious, lovingly decorated, all that good stuff. And the location was perfect, too; close to everything you want to be close to, but with enough privacy to get a good night's sleep. But that's just the house itself. Jason & Michelle were INCREDIBLE hosts. Just extraordinarily accommodating/communicative. I had a kinda wacky shipping request (due to my line of work/reason for being there), and Michelle wasn't just "okay with it", she was my dang partner in the whole ordeal. Simply above and beyond. I wouldn't just recommend this spot to a pal; I would chastise them for going elsewhere. 6 stars!!! <3

Kiley and her family were great. The place was beautiful and you felt right and home. Central location and I was working downtown at the federal courthouse and was a breeze getting there and back. Kiley also helped me find a place for the next week stay because she was booked and I would stay at her place again and would highly recommend her place to anyone that needs a place to stay and again her and her family were AWESOME!!

This place was flawless, a true gem. It was not only clean and decorated nicely, but she had everything you could imagine you would need there. Stacy was very responsive and helpful. If you looking for a nice girly girl place to stay or have a girls night, look no further!!!! I forgot to mention the neighborhood was very peaceful!!!

Very nice, peaceful and comfortable place to stay at a perfect distance from the French quarter but also close to the Bywater and lots of cool places. A lovely place to be. Thanks Saul!

Very nice unit in a quiet neighborhood. A short drive to University of New Orleans, where we intended to go. Although accessible by public transportation, it's a little bit far from the French Quarter. The unit is very clean. The kitchen has the necessities to prepare a quick meal. Bedrooms are very comfortable to rest for the night. The laundry area with washing machine and dryer came very handy. The owner is very responsive to inquiries. Overall, it was a nice place to stay.

This Airbnb was great with such character. We loved everything about our stay. We found it very comfortable and it was well stocked with all we needed. Coffee and filters were provided as well as laundry soap if needing to do a load of laundry. We would stay here again.

This is a great little hidden gem! We loved the layout of the house and how it offers privacy for each bedroom. Furnished nicely and very cozy! Christina is a great host! Will likely rent from her again for our next visit! A+!

The place looked exactly like the photos It was close enough to everything where it didn't cost us a fortune. The check in was seamless would definitely visit again.
