Vacation rentals with lake access in Gavleborg County

I‘ve never slept so close to the sea. Awesome! This house is posh and affordable at the same time. I have to come back to stay a bit longer! Try the Restaurant. A bit pricey but definitely worth it.

We had a fantastic weekend at this house. Even with a group of eight adult men, we never felt cramped for space. The spacious living area, relaxing sauna, and breathtaking view over the valley made it a perfect getaway. The ski slope is just a 5-minute walk away. We also met some locals who turned out to be incredibly friendly and helpful. This is definitely a place we’d love to return to.

We stayed at Johan's with a group of students for 10 days. Johan was welcoming and very helpful. He advised us on different places to visit, all around the accommodation. He did us a favor (to make pancakes and a barbecue). The house is well-equipped and very pleasant. The little bonus: the land with sauna, facing the lake! Thank you for everything! Very good and fresh accommodation. Spacious for 2 adults and 2children. Quick feedback from host, easy and nice treatment. Very affordable and close to the village! Highly recommended

We went to a concert in Sandviken and Veroniqa’s place was the closest to it in Gävle. Everything was in a walking distance, even the buses and the train stations so we had an easy time going to and from Sandviken! Her place was very clean and exactly like in the photos! She was also kind enough to pick us up from the station and show us everything in the apartment! She was very very kind and always responded fast🥰 If I ever go to Sweden again I would definitely like to stay at her apartment again💗

We stayed for 2 days and had a great time. Simple and clear instructions. It is clear that Anna and Per are experienced in renting out. Plus, the 3-year-old who was with us got to feed the fish in the pond! ☀️

Very satisfied with my stay at this place. My whole family enjoyed the experience of living in an ethnic setup very well maintained by the host. Even if host was not around during my stay, they put me in contact with a neighbour whom I could have contacted in case of any need. Overall I felt at home and enjoyed my small vacation in Leksand

Madelein was a great host ,she was always available. The lovingly furnished accommodation had everything we needed. We especially loved the large green area in front of the accommodation, which we used every day. For breakfast overlooking the river and in the evening after fishing for grilling. I miss this wonderful place already and hope we can come back soon

A fantastic cozy place to land a night. Great hosts and a home with everything you need.

Nice play basement with ping pong table and dart board, large fireplace in the living room, large kitchen table and a rowing boat at the cottage with which we sailed wonderfully. The house was clean, very spacious, cozy and has nice views over the lake. The master bedroom had no blackout curtains, so if you go in the summer, an eye patch can help. The other rooms do have darkened curtains. We (couple+children 14 and 11) greatly enjoyed it!

Very nice cabin on the lake. Had everything you needed and was in the description. The lakeside location is fantastic. The communication with Kari was very good and there were no problems at all. We enjoyed a lot!

Good location! The house meets expectations and nature is the best. We would be very happy to come back in the future. You'll find everything you need here. We can recommend Ronnys house for the family with children or with dogs, for a friend's group.

The hosts couldnt have been more helpful and kind. The rental cottage is so adorable and the area is amazing for hiking. Set right by a beautiful stream that is over looked with the bedroom terrace.
