Relax with the whole family in this peaceful home. The house, which is over 100 years old, has much of its original decor left. A home for you who appreciate the simple and who want to spend time with the family outdoors and together. Light a fire in the wood stove in the morning, take a dip in the pool or a sauna after a walk in the woods. The Dalälven river is 1 km down the road with a swimming jetty. The farm's animals often walk freely so it is possible to socialize closely with dogs, cats, chickens, horses and sheep.

The cottage is located right by Testeboån, about 2 meters from the veranda. It is possible to both swim and fish, or sit in the sunset and look out on the water. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need for a stay. Wi-Fi, TV and parking are included. It is possible to borrow a washing machine, charge an electric car or rent the sauna, for a small fee. If you want to visit Gävle, there are bike paths, or you can take the bus from the bus stop, which is within 200 meters. During the summer, we sell vegetables.

Högbostugan

Welcome to our guest house directly adjacent to the scenic Högbo mill (500m) where Mtb tracks, paddle tracks, canoe rental, swimming, fishing and golf are offered during the summer months. There is also a high-altitude track to try out for the adventurous. In winter, there are many nice cross-country ski trails and an ice rink to access, if you like downhill skiing, Kungsberget is about a 25-minute drive from here. Private parking with the possibility of charging for electric car. Downtown is about 5-6 km away.

Nature and fishing holiday in Southern Hälsingland

Stay on a smallholding and fish farm out in lovely Southern Hälsingland with dams and lakes within view from the guest house. The farm is located in a forested area with very few other houses around and is great for picking berries and mushrooms. There is a large dam stocked with rainbow trout and one can also fish in the lake which the farm borders or in nearby lakes. There are bicycles and a boat on the lake which guests may rent. The farm is located near the Hälsingland hiking trail.
