Monthly Rentals in Gateshead

Great Airbnb, very clean, with good facilities, very comfortable, perfect for two, with the benefit of secure parking behind electric gates. We used it to visit our son and girlfriend in Newcastle over a weekend. Our hosts were fantastic with communication, giving great directions and always responding promptly to our messages. A welcome gift of food essentials was waiting for us on arrival (bread milk eggs etc), which was a lovely touch. Located outside Newcastle, this was ideal for us and a short Uber trip into the city was less than £8, far better than the hassle of driving and paying for parking. Additionally, Low Fell had plenty of places for eating and drinking and was only a 10 minute walk from the accommodation. Will definitely use this Airbnb in the future if visiting Newcastle. Jackie's airbnb is great. As a solo female traveller it was ideal. I felt very safe and I had everything I needed close at hand. The converted garage has a small bathroom with toilet and very good shower. There's also a utility room right next door which I had sole use of with a fridge, microwave and toaster. Couldn't ask for more. It's a short and architecturally very interesting walk into Gateshead, the Sage and Newcastle. Jackie and her husband are very considerable hosts and I would certainly hope to stay again.

Good location. just a 15 min walk from Jesmond Metro and a short walk on the River Tyne where you are spoilt for choice on eating and drinking establishments

The flat matched the description, everything was as I’d expected. The people upstairs were a bit noisy but they were quiet at night so it didn’t matter. Comfy bed, well stocked kitchen and handy for everywhere I visited
