Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Garrard County

It was perfect for our group of 9 - very spacious and fun. Nicer than any of us expected from the photos. We were in town for a wedding and this was so much better than staying at a hotel! Amanda was quick to respond to questions and even notified us about incoming storms so we would be ready. Overall an excellent experience and I do recommend it if you are in the area.

I must say that I was extremely impressed with the accommodations. Everything was exactly as listed. The home was spacious and felt like home. It made the weekend even more special. Would highly recommend this location. The host Katrina was very responsive. Thank you for sharing your home with me and my family.

The house was very nice, spacious and comfortable. The water toys that were available were a fun touch. The outdoor decks are great places to hang out, too!

Amy's house was incredible. So many areas to hang out in or be alone at. The main level had a large comfortable sofa to watch TV, or play games on the table. Its a lovely area to congregate in at the end of the day with a gorgeous view. The mid level has easy access to the 3 bedrooms each with a great view. The lower level is the main access to the dock and the game level. The dock is the crowning glory of the house. Big enough to hang out in, comfortable Adirondack type chairs, a fire pit. We really enjoyed being here. Amy was super communicative during our stay and quickly responded to our inquiries. We did day trips to Berea and Cumberland falls(long but doable). Amy provides lots of necessities, but there is a Kroger and Walmart within 20 minutes if necessary. We even used the BBQ one night for dinner. We will definitely keep this house in our 'favorites' for a future visit.

The view from this place is fantastic! Perched on a cliff is a great description, we were able to look down from the deck and watch birds flying up and down the Dix River basin. If you are looking for a quiet getaway or a nice place to relax after an event at Centre College, this is the place for you. The sitting area on the porch was a favorite and the weather was perfect during our stay; the pleasant hum of cicadas was a joy to this entomologist's ears. The facilities were very nice with plenty of room to sit and relax in the downstairs or mid-level lounging areas. Fletcher was quick to answer questions and the stay was loved by all; I would stay here again with no reservations.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was unique in that it offers a main house and a guest house, and it turned out that this was the perfect arrangement for us (2 moms who are close friends, and our two sons, who are also close friends). When we weren't out and about, we all hung out in the A-frame main house. At bedtime, we parted ways.The A-frame has everything you might need during your stay. Then you also have the boathouse, which is beyond cute and very cozy. Both structures overlook the lake, and the outdoor deck spaces are very comfortable and inviting. I especially appreciated the propane fire pit one evening when it got a little chilly. Also, having a Keurig and pods in each house was awesome! Shelly sent detailed directions in advance of our travels, which was very helpful, and she made some local recommendations re: food and groceries. We followed up on those, and were not disappointed! She was also very responsive to us when we asked for assistance or recommendations. <3

Melissa was so helpful from the start, helping make local recommendations and answering all our questions about the area when we booked. There was a tiny snafu (no one’s fault) that Melissa responded to immediately. Zero complaints!

we almost were not about to return and book with Air B n B but...David absolutely changed that and turned our past awful experience right side up!!! During a extremely busy weekend and sold out everywhere weekend , he was available and even let us check in early!!! we couldn't get over just how peaceful stress-free and felt like honestly we were at our home! they didn't hover or intrude . Will return !!

I can’t express enough what this meant for me! Meeting James was the cherry on top! I felt at home and just loved being in his Air BnB! Recommended 100 percent! His place has everything and more that you could ever want. He is an absolute amazing host and I look forward to coming back again! It’s beautiful there and the duck family by his house and the rabbits I saw every morning and every night! What an awesome visit! Thank you Mr. James!

I loved that the space was very allergy friendly and clean. The neighborhood was peaceful and the space was cozy. John and Laura were very responsive, friendly, and helpful. The added touch of fresh coffee for the morning was great!

Quick overnight after traveling from Atlanta to Michigan. Toured the Mary Todd Lincoln museum and had a nice experience at the Bear and the Butcher and breakfast practically next door at Java Jukebox. Nice stay with everything provides.

This home made my stay in Lexington very close to perfect. Private and close to everything I needed. Great area to walk around. Cozy and cute, I loved spending my evenings in doing work or watching a movie . If I wanted to go out there were nearby options as well. Thank you, Carlotta!

I cannot say enough great things about Matt and the house! We traveled for a girls trip, Matt’s house was clean and safe. He responded to every question, politely and quickly! Recommend great restaurants, delicious food! I will definitely be booking with Matt again in the future!

This was a great place to stay, super clean and less than a mile from Rupp. We didn't get to make use of the host's suggestions for things to do this trip, but I'll already be looking forward to a second trip!

This is a gorgeous Air B-n-B, well cared for and clean. We had a delightful stay and everything we needed was there. It is also in a great Lexington neighborhood walkable to restaurants. Parking was easy. I'd gladly stay there again.
