Quick little weekend to explore the bourbon trail. In the middle of all of it, situated on a peaceful lake. Very responsive, photos depicted the place to a “t”, and would certainly stay here again if in the area.

Wonderful home on the lake exactly as described. Includes all the basics plus a ton of extra beauty supplies, well stocked kitchen, nice towels, etc. Open layout makes the space feel large. Highly recommend!

Nice spot to stay when visiting Kentucky! Everything was neat and clean, and we appreciated the comfy living room furniture!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean and smelled good upon arrival. Beds were VERY comfortable and bedding super soft. The giant walk-in shower in the big bedroom was the bomb with the oversized shower head. We really liked the screened-in porch (with a tv!) The property was private and quiet. We are older folks who didn’t attempt the very steep stairs to the water, but the view was great from the deck. We enjoyed antique shopping in Danville and Harrodsburg. Cattleman’s, Drakes and the Red Rooster were all good restaurants. An over all great stay!

We had a wonderful stay! House was exactly as pictured. Hot tub was a nice! Pretty views of the water and house fully stocked with everything needed. Host was very responsive and gave tips on local areas of interest. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay at Blue Moon Cottage! The home was exactly as described, and the photos were true to what we experienced. It’s tucked away in a peaceful, private location with beautiful views and a well-maintained property—perfect for a quiet getaway. The house was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and the pet-friendly aspect made it even better for us. The host was proactive, responsive, and very kind, which made everything smooth and stress-free. We even decided to extend our stay, and they accommodated us with no hassle at all. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone visiting the Danville area, and we definitely plan to return in the future!

Great place with a beautiful view

The home was everything we could have asked for and more. It was very spacious and clean, making it very easy for my kids to move around the home. Prior to checking in Scott ensured the home was in perfect condition for our family. I would gladly book this home again if traveling back to Kentucky.

This was an amazing place to stay. Everything was thought out and executed to a T. The house was very livable with many upgraded amenities. I would, without hesitation recommend to friends and family. Wayne was responsive and quickly addressed all questions. One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in!

My Old Kentucky Home hosted by Shane was a wonderful place to stay! The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. The amenities on site were amazing. The hot tub and pool were all set and ready for our group when we arrived, which we appreciated greatly. Communication was great, and Shane was on top of everything. Our stay was wonderful and we would love to come back for another visit! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Lexington area.

Harrison was an amazing Host! The house was immaculate and had everything you could want to feel at home and relax. This is a premier spot to take your family for Visiting the gorgeous and historic Lexington. Thank you so much for an amazing place to gather as we celebrated our son’s graduation.

A great place to stay if you want to be close to Rupp and/or downtown. The place is just as it shows in the pictures. I only have two small complaints/suggestions. The lobby of the complex seems to be in a state of disrepair and is very poorly lit at night. Not a very welcoming entry at night. Secondly, I was not able to adjust the thermostat. Seemed to be a problem with the nest control. Other than these small things, the place is great and I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home and property! It was perfect for our annual girl's weekend! The weather kept us inside more than we had hoped, but we did get a couple of sunny hours to enjoy the pool. Even when the rain kept us indoors, there was plenty of room to just relax and enjoy each other's company. There were plenty of windows to keep us connected to the outdoors and the view was perfect from every direction. Rolling green pastures speckled with horses! Very private! Highly recommend!

Absolutely recommend staying here y’all! It was SO peaceful & private. The farm house was charming & plenty of space for a set of 4 adults. The property is spacious & lots to explore. The trail system on the land gave us a Sunday morning time to hike before traveling. We loved that our dog was welcome & she loved exploring. One night was not enough & we cannot wait to come back when the pool is open. Thanks SO much from WV 💚

Excellent home, great location and amenities! The home is very clean, close to grocery and a good amount of distilleries. Rich is very responsive but also gives a good amount of info upfront, so not alot of need to ask for anything. Highly recommend!

Our tennis team stayed at Seth’s place (our second time in two years) and had an outstanding experience from start to finish! The home was spotless, spacious, and perfectly set up for our small group. Plenty of room to relax, recharge, and even do some team bonding between matches. Seth was a thoughtful and responsive host, making sure we had everything we needed and checking in to ensure our stay was going smoothly. The location was ideal, and every detail, from the cozy beds to the well-stocked kitchen, helped make it feel like a home away from home. We can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and welcoming stay. Thank you, Seth, for helping make our trip such a great one - we’ll definitely be back (again)! 😄

I must say that I was extremely impressed with the accommodations. Everything was exactly as listed. The home was spacious and felt like home. It made the weekend even more special. Amy's house was incredible. So many areas to hang out in or be alone at. The main level had a large comfortable sofa to watch TV, or play games on the table. Its a lovely area to congregate in at the end of the day with a gorgeous view. The mid level has easy access to the 3 bedrooms each with a great view. The lower level is the main access to the dock and the game level. The dock is the crowning glory of the house. Big enough to hang out in, comfortable Adirondack type chairs, a fire pit. We really enjoyed being here. Amy was super communicative during our stay and quickly responded to our inquiries. We did day trips to Berea and Cumberland falls(long but doable). Amy provides lots of necessities, but there is a Kroger and Walmart within 20 minutes if necessary. We even used the BBQ one night for dinner. We will definitely keep this house in our 'favorites' for a future visit.

Country charm was great. This house is very nice and in a super private area. The hosts are super responsive and helpful through the whole process. The extra snacks and basketball hoop were a nice added touch. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay! It was unique in that it offers a main house and a guest house, and it turned out that this was the perfect arrangement for us (2 moms who are close friends, and our two sons, who are also close friends). When we weren't out and about, we all hung out in the A-frame main house. At bedtime, we parted ways.The A-frame has everything you might need during your stay. Then you also have the boathouse, which is beyond cute and very cozy. Both structures overlook the lake, and the outdoor deck spaces are very comfortable and inviting. I especially appreciated the propane fire pit one evening when it got a little chilly. Also, having a Keurig and pods in each house was awesome! Shelly sent detailed directions in advance of our travels, which was very helpful, and she made some local recommendations re: food and groceries. We followed up on those, and were not disappointed! She was also very responsive to us when we asked for assistance or recommendations. <3

We were only there for one night and enjoyed every minute of Anna’s place. The river, cottage, decor, seclusion was just perfect, I loved the train in high bridge. It was so cool to watch and listen to outside!! Inside the train just sounded like light rain-very peaceful. I also loved how you decorated the inside of the cottage with local train memorabilia. Thank you!!

The cottage is charming, cozy and clean. Beautiful view of the river from the porch. Loved the extra touch of the smiley face on the blankets! Nicole’s communication is excellent and timely. The scenery to get to the cottage is very pretty. The location is great, close to downtown Danville which is such a nice place to visit. The cottage is a peaceful place to stay. ❤️
