Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This was truly a bay getaway before digital games and internet. There are two bookcases with hard bound books, card tables, and reading lamps. There is TV with WIFI and internet, a ductless HVAC system and a large 100'x 125' lot This cottage is very suitable for work away from home environment. A separate table and 2 office chairs are available for a work area that can be closed off from the rest of the house during the day.

Cozy 2-Bed Beach House - Family and pet friendly

Relax and have fun with the whole family at this peaceful 2-bed 1-bath beach house. The big fully fenced-in yard provides a safe location for kids to play as well as a place for small dogs. It also has a fire pit to enjoy with your family. The home sleeps six people comfortably and includes a big size upper deck with seating perfect to watch the beautiful sunrise or have your preferred drink while hearing the waves at evening. The 1847 Powhattan House & Living History Museum

Until there is time-travel, staying in the 1847 Powhatan House may be the next best thing. This is the 3rd oldest house in Galveston and has an amazing, almost unbelievable history. This beautiful Greek Revival style home is located 3 blocks from the beach and close to the Strand. The story of the house is told in a brief documentary on YouTube entitled “The Amazing History of Galveston's 1847 Powhatan House.”
