Wow, this is a dream place. Just know that on Söderöra there is not so much to do, and that was the whole point for us, just relax and recharge. We were there for 2 weeks, and got delivery of the food via Mathem's boat to the jetty which was very practical (since we didn't have our own boat). There is something called the "blue path" that is like a 2.5 km round the island and it passes in front of the house so it was very practical to walk this stitch and exercise a little every day. On the island there is a little coffee (with waffles, coffee and glasses), but unfortunately this "general swimming area" on the island is not much to write about... Had the house access to its own jetty or public jetty to be able to swim from, this would be a 10/10. So we were missing this but otherwise no problem. The house is very bright, open, cozy, modern, and still the "country". Madeleine was very helpful and available as a host and very nice and nice as a person. Can recommend and want to visit again.

We had a perfect 2-night stay. The house is well-equipped, from a BBQ to a great selection of kids’ toys. The shared pool in the area was a big hit with the children. One potential improvement would be the bathroom—it’s clearly dated, but it didn’t impact our overall experience.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was super nice, flexible, and accommodating. The place was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and had thoughtful design touches that made it feel like home. We especially loved the peaceful surroundings and the stunning view from the yard . Would definitely come back!

Ulrika's cottage is particularly beautiful and well located: Stomnarö is a very beautiful little island, with beautiful nature and immense calm. The deck has a great west-facing view, with unforgettable sunsets. The inside of the cottage is cozy, the kitchen is super well-equipped and the hot (outdoor) shower very welcome. To future guests: know that the boat (rented separately by Ulrika) is a must as there are no shops on the island (however there is a small well-stocked supermarket in Spillersboda, open every day in the summer). The toilet is outside, a little rudimentary but you get used to it:) We strongly recommend this beautiful and relaxing place!

Beautiful environment as well as fresh and spacious cottage. The kids loved the ping pong table, trampoline and balls. Nice and helpful hosts.

Hannah is an amazing local. We wanted to stay in a house from a local and it payed of. It was the private summerhouse of the lovely family and everything was so beautiful and personal. Hannah payed a lot of attention to nice and unique furniture and good quality. The nicest thing was the warm oven which we were allowed to use. The fire was burning and we enjoyed even rainy days because we had it cosy inside the house. Hannah was so nice to have us permission to eat everything from her garden. There was a little appletree with delicious red apples, raspberries etc etc. The island Yxlan is great too. You can go easily by bus to the other islands and visit everything in the Stockholm islands. We really loved to be there and will definitely come back next year! : )) Everyone who wants to rent a typical Swedish summerhouse (how not Swedish people imagine it) should rent this house. You won‘t regret it. We promise. Thank you Hannah! 🙏🙏🙏

the house is in a ydillic setting and perfect for discovering the island of blidö and the archipelago. The canoe loan is really a plus for a picnic on the deserted island opposite or getting closer to the supermarket. Vacationing holidays at will and the family who host is very nice.
