Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Funchal

The place was beautiful in a very quiet location with stunning views. Everything was clean and furnished with love so that you can only feel comfortable from the first moment. It had everything you need, we also loved the many kitchen utensils and the grill, which we used every day. The terrace with whirlpool, lounge, loungers and table were the highlight. We spent a lot of time in the accommodation because we felt so comfortable. The beach Calheta is 5 minutes by car easy to reach and highly recommended. We also loved the private parking. Bruno and Maria are very accommodating and also asked how we are doing and if we need anything. The location was perfect for us, very quiet, lots of privacy and yet we can get everywhere by car. We really enjoyed staying in Helena’s apartment. The location is within a 15 mins walk to the old town. It is located on a steep hill so if mobility is an issue you would need a car. After a couple of days we got used to the walk back up! The apartment is in a secure location with coded gate entry which makes it feel very safe. The apartment is very well equipped and has a great view over the town to the harbour. Most nights we ate in restaurants on Rua da Santa Maria so we didn’t use the kitchen very much but it has everything you may need.

Betty is the top host! She welcomed us with open arms. Very fast to respond, friendly and helpful! We were able to check out in the afternoon and enjoyed our last lunch at home before leaving for the airport. The view of the mountains is breathtaking at day and night time. The apartment is absolutely huge. It was our 3rd visit to Madeira with our elderly mum. She got beautiful bedroom with en suite bathroom and walk in shower. Betty also got an armchair for mum so she could relax on the balcony. We had such a comfortable and great stay! highly recommended!

Just amazing accommodation! Same as in the pictures! Very quiet and peaceful. Really very nice host. It is located in a small village about 30 minutes from Funchal and close to everything by car. The place is wonderful to relax. We'll be back.

We spent a month in the apartment and felt at home right from the start. The interior is stylish and decorated with great attention to detail, and the view over Funchal is simply fantastic – especially in the mornings and evenings, a real highlight. The location is excellent – it’s easy to get everywhere, yet pleasantly quiet. The apartment is very well equipped – absolutely nothing is missing. It was also ideal for working: we worked remotely for two weeks, handling large amounts of data, and the internet was absolutely reliable and fast. Miguel is a fantastic host – warm, helpful, and always available. He proactively gave us many great tips and took care of everything with genuine attention. We can wholeheartedly recommend the apartment – and Miguel as a host. Thank you for the wonderful time, Miguel – and hopefully see you again soon!

We really enjoyed our stay in the centre of funchal :) The appartement was clean, well equipped and very close to funchal centre (3min walk to get pasteis de nata, 5 min for the nearest café). Our host was so friendly and we had a personal Check-in with her dad, who was very welcoming and told us everything we needed to know. The only little downside is a soccer and bball court of a school right next to the appartement - during school time it can get a little louder from time to time. But lets be honest - who travels to madeira to often stay in the appartement during daytime? :)

The host was very pleasant and messaged every now and then to check in on us and see if there was anything we needed during our stay. The host provided clear instructions in form of step by step videos of how to access the apartment, which we was able to follow with great ease. However, we did receive our instructions very last minute. The place was exactly like in the pictures, very clean and spacious. The kitchen was very well equipped and had exactly everything that was needed. Underground car parking is easy to find/access and convenient if you have a car. The location is great, within 5 minutes from the city centre, various bars and restaurants, and near the promenade where you can have a nice walk down by the sea. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay at Francisco’s apartment! We had a brilliant stay!

The accommodation is great, everything as described and in the photos. It is a bit dated, but we felt very comfortable there. Bruno gave us a very warm welcome and showed us everything we needed to know. When there was a problem with the water pump on the second day, he sorted it out very quickly. We can highly recommend the accommodation.

Hello, José is a welcoming host. His accommodation is very clean and comfortable. We arrived at night and were treated to sandwiches with cake, some eggs, fruits and vegetables as well as cold milk. It was nice to stay at this listing. 😊

Pedro is the best thing about this place the man is a legend really kind and helpful goes over and beyond. The place is so nice pool is amazing with fantastic views. I can not fault the place. Over three floors we had 12 people in it and didn’t feel cramped. Book this place you will not regret it

A beautiful, immaculate house with EVERYTHING a guest could hope for. I don’t think we have ever stayed in a house that was so well equipped. It is located quite far from the old Town of Funchal and a bus or taxi ride is essential. If you haven’t been to Funchal before you need to get used to its hilly setting. Some are very steep, but there are plenty buses and taxis both priced very modestly. You will not be disappointed with this house, its pool and stunning views.

We really enjoyed the accommodation! (family of 6 people) This one is well located, a beautiful view, very peaceful and private place. It is very well equipped, heated pool (for €30/day), barbecue available, very spacious and clean. Which makes it a great value. We recommend it!

Our stay in Camara de lobos went very well. Lots of restaurants nearby, beautiful view, nice for walks, good location for exploring the whole island. The apartment is very clean and very well-equipped. The only weak point is the difficulty of driving in the street because it is very narrow and the turn is dangerous for novices like us who know little about the mountainous and steep roads, and who had a fairly large vehicle (Nissan Juke). With a smaller vehicle, it's easier and it's possible to park in front of the apartment. Very good stay.

An absolutely stunning space. Janine was incredibly helpful and proactive with setting us up with detailed instructions on how to access everything along with local recommendations. The location was perfect and the space had everything we needed to relax and enjoy beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic after the days hikes. Truly a dream airbnb for peace, tranquility, and amazing beauty. We cant rave about this place enough. So grateful for its existence.

We absolutely loved our stay. The seaside view is incredible and relaxing. We loved the access to grocery and restaurants right nearby and it was nice to be close but not right in Funchal with the crowds. Mariana was the best - met us for check in to show us around and sent lovely recommendations for our stay. We loved cooking at the apartment and listening to the sound of the waves. Don’t hesitate, you won’t regret booking this lovely condo!

We loved our week at Nuno's place! The apartment was lovely and bright, we loved to soak in the sun on the terrace. Nuno is very caring host :) Madeira's air is wonderful, and with the terrace door open, the apartment was always filled with fresh air- so good to sleep like that. The terrace is not too windy as well! Just the perfect breeze blowing by. Definitely would recommend the apartment!

Well located accommodation. Small supermarket and bakery very close. As well as restaurants where you could eat. Everything available for a carefree holiday. Airport and Funchal are less than a 15-minute drive away.

We enjoyed the individuality of the apartment and the outdoor space . It is up a hill but all good exercise ! The bus stop for the ride to Monte Palace Gardens is close by and makes a lovely day out . Carlos is welcoming and the apartment is lovely and clean .

Flawless apartment, very clean and as described. The terrace is simply magnificent, with a magnificent view. Everything is well furnished, you immediately feel comfortable. We are delighted with our stay – a real pleasure from start to finish!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view was beautiful and we loved being able to sit on the balcony and listen to the waves. The apartment had everything we needed and was a perfect home base. The host checked us in and walked us through the apartment to show us how things worked which was great. The location was not super walkable to restaurants and such for my parents due to the steep hills, but it wasn't an issue for us and the beach path was great to walk in the evenings. Definitely recommend.

We had a pleasant and well cared for stay. Please note: the apartment is high. If no car, that could be a problem for some people because the road to it is a best climb.
