Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Fujikawaguchiko, Minamitsuru District

Great stay with 4 friends. Much better than we expected. Will stay again for sure next time we are in town from Tokyo.

This stay is absolutely perfect. A perfect, beautiful home that’s a literal skip away from the Mt Fuji Welcome Area. The home was perfect and as described and our host was amazing at what he does. He came and picked us up from Fujikawa station and then drove us back when it was time to leave. Please let him come get you if he offers, you’ll need it! He then provided us a tour of the home, perfectly explained all amenities and how to properly use them. Please respect the home, it is very old and he worked very hard on it. We will be booking this home every time we visit Mt. Fuji in the future!

The three of us (senior couple and eldest daughter who works at a design company) stayed, but we were refreshed both mentally and physically in a different location and space from our daily lives. It was raining on the first day and the middle of the second day, but the weather improved and we were able to use the optional BBQ grill and enjoy meat, vegetables, seafood, and fruit.The view overlooking the coast of Ito was the best.On Sunday morning, the breeze was comfortable and I was able to experience "forest bathing" in Oiso with a good view. 　The interior had some design details here and there."Hidden" switches, doors and book openings, curtains, roller screens, lighting fixtures, etc.The functional aspects and use of blind spots were ingenious, and it enhanced the comfort.Last fall, I visited Southern Europe with my family and stayed at various Airbnbs, and I was able to see some good points, such as the toilet, bath, and water, and I also encountered some nostalgic scenes. No complaints about the amenities.The mosquito coil was helpful.It started to rain, and the fireworks display quietly took place after the BQQ, in the midst of the rain. Of course, I felt like repeating it in a different season.It would also be nice to use the wood stove and sauna in winter. At the same time, I felt more and more that I wanted to use various Airbnbs in the future.I want to thank you for providing a space and time suitable for that place.　Thanks for your hospitality!

I had a very pleasant stay. Thank you very much. It was a rainy day, but it was comfortable to have a barbecue on the deck without getting wet.

Mt. Fuji can be seen from the living room, and it was a superb view.It was very nice, just like the photos, with a wood deck around the fireplace and living room.✨ Also, the mattress was fluffy and comfortable.✨

We had a wonderful stay at this house! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The highlight was definitely the terrace — the view of Mount Fuji was absolutely stunning, especially at sunrise. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the scenery.

You can enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji blocked by electric wires, etc.When barbecuing, you should be concerned about your neighbors.The neighbors seemed to be annoying and checking this as a tranquility, so I was a little careful.

Our stay in Hakone was very pleasant. We stayed in a traditional Japanese-style room, which had a great atmosphere. Breakfast and dinner were offered on-site, which was both convenient and delicious. There’s a cozy shared lounge on the ground floor, as well as a terrace with a beautiful view of the Japanese garden – a perfect spot to relax. Overall, we were very satisfied and would gladly come back.

It was a last-minute reservation, but I was relieved to hear back from you right away.The guidebook and check-in were smooth and easy to understand, and there was everything I needed in the kitchen and bath.The guests at the inn were happy to rent a fire pit, free firewood, and clean linens.I was also happy to be considerate of the room.Thanks for your hospitality.I'm coming back

Katsuhiro was amazing. He personally drove our things back to us when it was hard to get a taxi and made the stay wonderful. The location is beautiful, and the room was spacious and clean with refrigerator, sink, and very comfortable bed. It is so cool how they have animals around you can interact with and the beautiful Fuji view!

From all places that i have stayed during my trip, this place is the best. The amenities and furniture provided was clean and comfortable. The house vibes was very chilly and relaxing. I loved that its in the 1st floor, so no need to struggle with carrying heavy luggages. Its also nearby to train station, even with heavy bags, its okay. I will definitely repeat this place again.

Very nice staff and perfect location to hike Fuji/see the falls. It was more of a hostel style for the rooms but still very accommodating. Would absolutely stay again.

Thanks to my invisible craftsman host!Small but fully equipped and well-designed: reading lamp, large leather sofa and cushions, and induction cooker are all excellent configurations.Especially, the Host provided a free bicycle, which was in good condition. I have to praise it. It made it much more convenient for me to shop, eat, and go to the station in Muzhizhen. Riding a bicycle on the street feels like home.Overall, this is a great value for money for shopping in Gotemba, soaking in Hakone, viewing Mt. Fuji up close, and visiting the Izu Peninsula.

One of my favorite places I stayed—not just in Japan, but anywhere I’ve traveled. I came alone, but the peaceful atmosphere, thoughtful design, and beautiful surroundings made me feel completely at ease. If you love art and nature, this is the place to be. Hakone has so much to offer—hiking trails, historic sites, outdoor museums, quiet gardens, and relaxing onsens. Even though I met people mostly outside the guesthouse, there was a real sense of warmth and openness everywhere I went. The guesthouse itself is clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. I slept on a traditional Japanese futon, which was surprisingly one of the most restful nights I had on my trip. The whole space just feels good to be in—calm, welcoming, and well cared for. Everyone I interacted with was kind and accommodating without being overbearing. I honestly wish I could’ve stayed longer. It’s the kind of place I’d love to come back to with friends, and one I’ll keep recommending to anyone heading to Hakone.

Our party of 8 (one infant and one preschooler) has a wonderful time in this property. the house itself was in a quiet and peaceful location just less than a minute drive from the lake. the kitchen was well provided for and the living area expansive enough to fit the entire group. we had bbq dinners with a decently stocked supermarket just under 10min drive away. in a clear day you can see the peak of mt fuji from the balcony. the hosts were very thoughtful and the baby cot was comfortable enough for the little one. one of the highlights is the hot bath and the sauna, both of which were used on both nights. we would love to come back and stay again if we have the opportunity! the hosts were very responsive and very easy to communicate with. a big thank you for making our stay memorable.

Phenomenal property. Perfect home for my huge family of 9 with 3 kids. The 2 private onsens were well loved by the family! & don’t get me started on the breathtaking panoramic view of the Hakone mountain range! 5/5 would recommend this property to anyone!

It was nice that it was a clean, spacious, and luxurious villa.I realized that it was more convenient to have a dryer while traveling.The TV didn't work, but it was good to play records and play with the family.I was prepared for bugs in advance, but I was able to deal with them, as they were only ants and small spiders. There was also a place to play a short drive away, and I stayed two nights, so I wanted to stay longer.

Good stay

Love this beautiful house. We are lucky to have two beautiful day to see the full Fuji mountain from the back yard. The house is better than I expected. It’s spacious and has everything u need well prepared. of course most important is the huge backyard with the view of the Fuji mountain. So rare and beautiful. It’s a perfect getaway from the city life. I also really enjoyed the bathtub. Water power is great.

It was a very good time of year, and it was easy to spend time there. It is especially recommended for those who like saunas, and access from the city center is also good, making it a relaxing facility.
