This inn is located in Asama Taisha Shrine, the head shrine of Asama Shrines nationwide, which has existed since 853 AD, and is registered as a World Heritage Site along with Mt. Fuji. This room has a magnificent view of the Wakutama Pond, which is fed by the waters of Mt. Fuji, a designated Special Natural Monument, and you can spend a luxurious time that can only be experienced at this inn. The nearest station is Fujinomiya Station (JR Sobu Line), which can be accessed in about 2 hours by transferring from the Shinkansen and local lines from Tokyo Station, about 7 minutes by bus or about 15 minutes on foot from JR Fujinomiya Station, and about 40 minutes by bus from Tokaido Shinkansen "Shin-Fuji Station". There are restaurants within a 10-minute walk, and Miya Yokocho, where you can enjoy Fujinomiya Yakisoba, is also close. There is also an Aeon Mall on the opposite side of the station, which is convenient for shopping. There is also the Fujisan World Heritage Center, a 9-minute walk away, where you can learn about the nature, culture, and history of Mt. Fuji. A detached house surrounded by greenery at the foot of Mt. Fuji. There are two 6-tatami-mat rooms. There is a kotatsu in winter. Free wifi, workspace, refrigerator, toilet, bath, BBQ, etc. are all available. There are 2 air conditioners for a comfortable stay. There are also BBQ facilities and a fire pit, so you can relax while feeling the nature. I rent out the inn's detached building on Airbnb, and I also have a home in a separate building, so I can accommodate a variety of needs. Renovated toilets, baths, and tatami mats in October 2024. We rent out bicycles for free. * Please let us know in advance if you are using a BBQ or campfire. A usage fee of 1,000 yen per person (cash on the day) will be charged. We have all the basic items such as nets, iron plates, charcoal, firewood, firelighters, chucka man, mosquito coils, dishes, chopsticks, gloves, tongs, spatulas, seasonings, etc. You only need to provide the ingredients. The terrace has a roof, so you can have a BBQ without any problems even in rainy weather. * Small and medium dogs are allowed. 2000 yen per dog per night. There are cages, etc. * We do not have disposable toothbrushes due to the Plastic Resource Recycling Promotion Law. Please bring your own toothbrush.

If you are looking for a quiet and private house surrounded by nature, Cozy Retreat is the perfect choice. You can get away from the noisy city area, yet it's only 5 km to the Lake Kawaguchiko, easy to access other attractions in the area (you need your own car to get by). The house has two bedrooms and one large living room, up to 6 people can stay comfortably. Guests especially love the large living room, as well as the garden with a large wood-deck.
