The barn is located in the meadow behind our thatched cottage. The space is entirely your own and is self catered with a well equipped open plan kitchen. We're on hand should you need any advice or assistance during your stay, though you'll have your own privacy and can interact as much or as little as you'd like. Enjoy pastoral tranquility here whilst being within an easy 10-minute reach of the medieval charm of Lavenham. Public footpaths are close by or venture further afield to admire the beautiful Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds. Once you arrive in the barn, there is a small collection of books about the surrounding area and county. We can of course recommend places to visit.

Rest and relax at this unique and tranquil getaway within five minutes walk from East Clacton sandy beaches on the outskirts of Clacton on Sea. A few miles away there are Nature Reserves and places of historical interest. You can enjoy long walks and/or cycling further afield along the seafront. Clacton Pier is about 20 minutes walk away where you’ll also find a good choice of restaurants etc. The cottage has its own private entrance with parking. There are also regular train and bus services.

There are lots location is peaceful with a nice outdoor courtyard garden. Occasionally footsteps can be heard from above the bedroom due to the accommodation being underneath part of the owner’s home.

We had a great stay, the house was stocked with everything we could need. Love the extra touches of brownie/bread/milk etc left for us. Great for little children too, use of cot, high chair and baby cutlery provided was much appreciated! Enclosed garden and private driveway are a bonus as well. We needed a base in Melton for a long weekend to attend a wedding. This accommodation was perfect for us both, and our two grown up ‘children’. The host gave clear instructions, and it was easy to find. It had everything listed, and more. Two en-suite bathrooms were perfect for us, and we could walk to the church in under 10 minutes. There was plenty of off road private parking too. The loveliest part was the warmth of welcome - a bottle of fizz, milk in the fridge, and nice biscuits. Julia gave us time to settle in and then came over to check we had all we needed. She was extremely friendly, kind and helpful and also gave us a flexible check-out time. We would strongly recommend this lovely coach house for a beautiful Suffolk get-away.

What a fantastic stay! Kim was very communicative in the booking and check in process. The flat was spotless on arrival and she had left lots of treats for the stay with coffee/tea/condiments/spices. It felt just like a home away from home. The location was fantastic for walking everywhere as it's so close to the train station. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!

The Annex is located in a very peaceful neighbourhood at the edge of the village. The surroundings are really pleasant and make you relax straight away. The highlight of course is a magnificent redwood tree round the back of the annex. The rooms are exactly what you need for a short (or longer) break in Suffolk: very clean, spacious and quiet. Esther has handy several brochures and books to get started with your adventures in the surrounding areas. Strongly recommended!

We had a lovely weekend getaway at Tim’s place. I booked it very last minute and he was quick to get all the information to me to ensure a smooth entrance to the property. The flat itself is right on the beach with gorgeous views for your morning coffee! The flat is quiet and cosy and has everything you need for a relaxing trip. Thanks guys!
