The Annexe is a spacious studio with private entrance and outside decking area to enjoy a drink. King size bed, with desk/dressing table, TV, tea/coffee making facilities, toaster, microwave, wi-fi, TV (SKY) and sofa area. Contemporary en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. Set in the lovely village of Old Oxted. Only a 1 -5 minute walk from 3 great pubs all serving good food and with nice atmosphere. Approx. a 15 minute walk from Oxted station which takes 40 minutes into central London.

The Hideout - in the heart of Ashdown Forest

The Hideout is located down a private drive, well off the road and right on Ashdown Forest. We are a five minute walk from Gills Lap which is a central walking hub on the forest. Dogs are welcome and there is a secure, enclosed courtyard garden. You can walk for miles from the gate and we provide maps and walking suggestions. Forest Row, a ten minute drive, provides good shops, restaurants and cafes. There is a great local pub, The Hatch Inn, which is walkable during daylight hours.

We are offering a beautifully converted barn, in a secluded spot about 150m from our house, at the bottom of the garden. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. We had a blissful time at the granary and would definitely recommend this place to others. It’s a beautiful building but the grounds of Coes Farm and the added bonus of having a pool (which if you are lucky is essentially a private pool all to yourself as it was always empty when we went in) make it an amazing place to unwind and rest. The property had everything we needed, including some little ducks who came to the back door to welcome us! We would also recommend a trip to Canterbury while you are here, it is a beautiful place to visit.

Convenient Caterham Bolt Hole near Gatwick/London

We’ve stayed at Laura and Stu’s annexe before and can highly recommend as a comfortable and cosy spot to stay. We were back for a local wedding and we knew we’d be comfy and it’s a quiet area. With the train station and high street a short walk and the added bonus of a Waitrose it’s incredibly convenient for food and the M25 a couple of miles away makes it great for travelling.

Fantastic property in excellent condition. Note - the gate to 'Doghouse Cottage' is to the right of the five-bar gate to the fgarden, to the far right of the driveway. The Surrey Oaks pub is a short walk away and has superb food (large portions) with a large choice of local ales, lagers and craft beers. Excellent croissants from Bob's shop in Newdigate. The only problem we encountered is that our Google sat-nav (and a local taxi) took us to 'Cowroom Glamping' - the cottage is on the same side of Broard Lane but 100 yds further in the direction of Parkgate Road - it maybe worth trying 'What Three Words' instead of the postcode.

A nice little place where we could spend a month between house moves. John was helpful, and met us at the location. The flat was clean, and everything was as described. The flat is in a relatively secluded place as expected, but there was a bit more traffic noise than expected, as it is right on the corner of a crossroads.
