We are sadly the 2ndto last to stay (Dallas just outlawed air BnBs). It is a perfect location, like PERFECT. Street side parking, super safe area. The beds and linens are terrific (pool towels! Fluffy towels for the bathroom too), and the living areas are extremely comfortable (I could lie on leather sofa ALL DAY LONG). AC was fantastic - essential for Dallas heat. Yes, there are “drawbacks” other reviews mentioned: cobwebs on the chandelier, fridge needs cleaning, the master bath is janky (hard to close shower door, you hit your knee on the jacuzzi when on toilet), some amenities are lacking (need obvious places/places that aren’t on the floor to plug in phones etc), and the outside/pool are less than pristine (dried leaves/branches are a fire hazard, small pond is a mosquito haven, yes a vine is growing into the house, and bottom of pool needs a scrubbing). BUT!! The “old Hollywood glamour” (as Bruce calls) feel of the place is decadent and tangible. We adored it. Thanks Bruce!!

This house was perfect for our large group! Everything was spotless and as described. We especially loved the pool table and pool. The hosts were wonderful and very communicative. We plan to come back!

Both David and Lizzie were great! Very welcoming and friendly. The barndominium was exactly as advertised and some. We loved the stay and hope to make it back in the future.

Jo and Vicki were truly amazing! The house was beautifully decorated, and honestly a great place to host for my brother’s wedding. The hosts were so kind, quick to respond and helped with any issues we had. They were so flexible and the house was fully furnished and set up ready to go for our stay. This house is a gem and we are so grateful and thankful for the wonderful wonderful opportunity We had to stay here. I give this place my highest rating!

We felt very much at home at Melissa's house! The decor is fun and funky and it's in a great neighborhood. Just a few things that you may want to be aware of: Most of the windows are open and without blinds, and the home is indeed lived in, so you will see a lot of personal items such as clothing, knick knacks, etc. The location is incredibly convenient and Melissa was super helpful when the temperature in Dallas dropped and we were concerned about the roads being icy. She was helpful and supportive!

Stayed a week for work & this place was perfect. It was just as described & felt like home. Great location & has everything you could possibly need to be comfortable for longer stays. The fully stocked kitchen & access to the laundry room is the best part. I would definitely stay here again whenever I have to be back for work.

Lisa's place was perfect! Safe, cozy, quiet, and clean. I had every thing that I needed, even oatmeal and yogurt for breakfast. The neighborhood is very safe for walking and I even had the opportunity to stroll with the dogs. Lisa is an excellent communicator and checked in often to make sure I was happy and had everything I needed. She is a wonderful host and I will be back!

Loved the size/space and Betoniica was very responsive. We needed more toliet paper and it was outside our door in minutes!

We had wonderful stay at Ramons place. Place is beautiful and very convenient to get around. Neighborhood was nice with park, walking trail, kids play area and close to restaurants and shopping mall.

Teresa was a great host, and her space included so many extras including snacks, drinks, and pet treats, making us (and our 3 pets!) feel right at home. Thank you for having us!

Jeff's home was the perfect place for my son & I to stay while he attended a camp at SMU. It was an easy drive to campus, and surrounded by beautiful neighborhoods. His studio was on a very nice street with beautiful homes as well. It was as pictured, and met every need we had! We enjoyed several meals outside in our little courtyard; my son preferred to get food and bring it back there to eat because it was a perfect place to decompress at the end of a long day for him. Jeff was very kind and responsive, but also gave us complete privacy. Oh, and you can't beat having driveway parking instead of most places that require street parking. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Second time staying. Very nice, clean and comfortable. Love having the coffee variety and being able to park off street. Highly recommend and will definitely book again

The Airbnb experience was wonderful and welcoming, providing ample space and beautiful surroundings. The host is outstanding, and I would certainly love to return in the future. If you enjoy an artistic vibe with excellent coffee nearby, as well as a range of bars and dining options, this is the ideal place for you. If you find a great rate, make sure to book it right away! The only downside I noticed is that parking is limited, but there is a garage just below the unit. Just ensure that your car isn't too large, as this is due to the busy main road right outside. Don't worry, you won't need to use your car much.

I was looking for a last minute place to stay near downtown Dallas. This place was great. Easy access, no fuss, comfortable place. As is stated though, it is an older building, so if there are people in the other units, you can hear them.

this is a wonderful place and the hosts were super. they responded quickly to all our questions and were very accommodating. we stayed here for my daughters Graduation from SMU and it was close to everything and a short jump to campus but in a quiet neighborhood. The home is wonderful and charming. we had a sunday brunch for our local friends who were very important in my daughter getting through college and they all commented on how cute and wonderful the place looked and felt. we loved the place and it may a very special weekend even more special. I would highly recommend this for any of the SMU fan base for all occasions. my only regret is that we did not find this until graduation

We had an amazing two night stay at Jeff’s place. Jeff was incredibly nice, welcoming, and proactive, making sure we had everything we needed before check-in, so thorough and thoughtful. He even texted ahead to let us know the place was ready, that we could check in anytime upon arrival, no questions asked and no need to text for permission. It made everything smooth and stress-free. The condo itself was spotless, cozy, and stocked with all the essentials. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to restaurants. One must-see is the Farmers Market just down the road, an absolute gem. A huge bonus was the 12 PM check-out time, giving us extra time to catch up on sleep after a late night of Monopoly Deal, so much better than the usual 10 AM rush. Beyond the stay itself, we loved seeing pieces of Jeff’s journey through the photos and artwork in his home, it made the space feel personal and full of stories. Highly recommend staying here.

This place is like a well-curated museum that you get to spend the night in! The location was great for us so we could be close to our daughter who is attending UTSW. Everything is very well labeled and good instructions are provided. If you want to take a step back into the 60's this is your place!

I spent my 26th birthday at this Airbnb with a few friends for a game night, and it was the perfect setting for a cozy get-together. The host provided a great selection of games, plus we had a blast with the pool table. The couch and beds were super comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better it’s just a 5-minute walk to coffee shops, restaurants, and bars. You won't find a more walkable spot in Dallas. Thanks for making my birthday so memorable!
