This property has everything you could ever want in a break away with family and friends. Quiet and secluded while still be closer enough to Drum for a night out or supplies. The house was really well done with a homely feel that set you at ease straightaway. Being able to relax by the river and having a huge garden to relax in were the highlight for me. But the best part of this trip was Kay herself. Full of local recommendations and very responsive, we never struggled for things to do. Also her little touches were fantastic. The best host I've ever had while staying in Airbnb's!! Would stay with her again in a heartbeat

Katie’s charming home near the red castle ruins was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we felt wrapped in peace and magic. The cottage was beautifully kept, fully stocked, and incredibly comfortable—every detail thoughtfully arranged to make us feel at home. The setting is something out of a storybook. Waking up next to the historic ruins and soaking in the beauty of the surroundings was unforgettable. The hot tub was a highlight, especially after a day of travel. Our kids were thrilled with the darts and ping pong, and everyone slept like a dream—so quiet, so cozy. If Scotland weren’t so far away, we’d be back in a heartbeat. This may be the only trip we ever take as a family to Scotland, and we’re beyond grateful that Katie’s magical cottage was part of our journey. Thank you for everything!

We cannot fully put into words how special Elizabeth’s place is. By far, it is one of the best Air BnB’s we’ve stayed at in the Highlands. If you’re looking for a peaceful hub to visit all the sights. If you’re looking for a refuge, you don’t need to leave the property. As a host, Elizabeth went above and beyond, anticipating our needs, providing recommendations, and even offering a welcome basket.

A wonderful cottage with everything we wanted. The beds were very comfortable and there was a great kitchen for cooking. The local area is stunning with walkable boat trips and shops etc. would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the highlands .

Sian's house is lovely. Very clean and comfortable with very good outdoor sitting area/garden. It's very convenient for the village and local sites. Walkable to Urquhart Castle. Co-op and Italian restaurant just around the corner. Lovely pizza at the Italians. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Puffin parlour was a wonderful home away from home. Michelle was east to talk to and communicate with and provided many extra useful items within the flat. It was centrally located so was easy for us to walk to many of the local attractions and was also easy to get to train and bus stations. The flat was clean and well tended and big enough that we felt we had plenty of room to cook and relax.

Perfect place and location for my 4 day stay. As a solo visitor I felt completely safe to walk around the area at any time. The cottage is very comfortable. Cheryl and her husband are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Beautifully presented accommodation! Everything we needed plus more! Bread and milk was a nice touch. Wonderful setting close to city centre and train station.

Highly recommend booking this BnB! It was clean, quiet, and walkable to just about anything you could want. The host is very kind and provides thorough information about check-in, parking, etc.

Andrew’s place was a perfect base for a few days of hiking. It is a short walk to the train and bus, and there is a small grocery store even closer. The place was clean and had a nice modern kitchen. After our days of walking in the highlands, we appreciated showers or baths with lots of pressure and hot water. The idea of paying for the heat you use makes some sense too.

We wanted a great view of the waterfront and skyline. The outlook from this apartment is superb, and coupled with the quality of the accommodation, it really was the perfect choice. The listing is entirely genuine and accurate, and if you are looking for a special restful retreat in Oban, this is the place. Easy for access to all amenities in Oban and of course the ferry if you’re taking in Mull & Iona like we did. Perfect test at the end of the day sitting watching the view from the magnificent bay windows in the lounge. We watched the sun go down and each morning looked out again at the peaceful outlook. Amazing place and great comms from James the host was very helpful throughout our booking process.

Easy to follow instructions everywhere you might need them. Great book to learn about the area and to get recommendations. Amazing communication and we look forward to coming back in the future

Rosey’s place was absolutely perfect, clean, and fully stocked with everything we needed. We had our privacy, plenty of room for parking, and a beautiful view. The patio was sprinkled with beautiful plants and plenty of lounge seating to enjoy the view. Rosey also washed our laundry and returned it folded and clean to us in a timely manner. I wish we would’ve booked this part of our stays longer!

The place was much better than what was described. Mark is very warm and friendly. We stayed just for a night. Would definitely stay longer next time.

Angela was super helpful even before we got to Scotland, helping with advise on train travel and where to get a rental car. Approaching the flat the courtyard was lovely with tons of flowers blooming and little touches that impressed us. We were welcomed inside with a personalized sign, fresh flowers and fresh fruit as well as a splendid variety of easy-to-prepare breakfast foods, many varieties of tea, instant or brewable coffee and milk! This is the only AirBnB we used that actually had live houseplants that were well cared-for. It was a shame we weren’t staying longer, as we absolutely loved Angela’s place. We did have some questions about how things work (being from the US things are so different in the USK!). Angela was very specific in helping us. Super host!

Extremely professional host. Had put every instruction clearly. All the appliances were pristine. Cleanliness, location, neighbourhood, parking, view from the sofa bed - all top notch. Must visit. PS: loved the gesture of ‘welcome chocolates’ kept neatly on the kitchen counter.
