The Benedikte house is about 10 min drive from Egersund city center and about 5 min from E39. We have attempted to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one to stay in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the courtyard of the Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock that runs freely. The house is very modern and well-equipped.

Etter dagens aktiviteter er det godt å synke ned i et varmt boblebad med god massasje og nyte solnedgangen eller stjerne himmelen. Det finnes også et badstu i hytten. The location is super convenient with public transit literally at your doorstep, making it easy to explore the area and get into Stavanger. The apartment was cozy and well-equipped with everything we needed for a short stay. We were a group of four, but it’s definitely more comfortable for two. There’s also municipal parking available nearby, which is free during certain hours of the day. Asbjørn was kind and easy to communicate with, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish. Highly recommended for couples or solo travelers looking for a hassle-free base in the region!

We felt super comfortable in the accommodation. The house was even much larger than expected from the pictures. The view was fantastic and via Smart Home, lights, sun protection, etc. could be operated superbly. Robert was super sweet and accommodating or always easily accessible. Highly recommended place to stay!

Kenneth was an outstanding host, and very responsive to the few questions we had. He asked when we planned to arrive so that he would have everything “guest-ready.” The place was beautiful and very serene. We were in town to hike, so we were gone most of the four days, but our arrival home was always met with beautiful views and a comfortable place to relax. The bathrooms and bedrooms were spotless and the kitchen was fully equipped, which is important for us as we prefer to cook. The laundry facilities were super and there were plenty of linens and towels. We were two couples traveling and each of us felt that the place will be hard to top in this month of travel in Norway. We highly recommend Kenneth’s place!

This apartment exceeded all expectations. Opened the front door and walked straight into an adventure. The view was absolutely stunning. Sit in the living room and watch cruise boats and the Danish boat pass right outside the living room window. It has to be experienced. We had a great time and would gladly return.

A great place to stay. The house was very clean and had absolutely everything we needed. It was right by the Fjord and had amazing views into the distance. Randi and ger husband were very helpful, giving information on where to visit before we arrived and also helping when we arrived. We would definitely recommend for a couple or two couples and we would come back in an instance. Brilliant shower!
