We had a wonderful stay, and the hostesses always responded fast to our questions. I can recommend the house for everyone. Our do enjoyed the garden a lot.

Entering Sabrina's place high up on the green hills above Lungern was like stepping into a picture. An amazing cottage with incredible picturesque and peaceful surroundings. Just driving up the mountain was a nature delight. This was the perfect getaway. The cottage was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. We slept deeply on the spacious bed and the nighttime quiet. Sabrina was super friendly and very responsive. Her hiking and touring recommendations were the best. My wife and I feel that Lungern is the nicest place in Switzerland and Sabrina's place is the best place in Lungern. The place is truly blessed. Can't wait to return. Thank you so much Sabrina for offering it.

We loved this little spot. It's near a campsite and you are right on the lake and have direct assess to the water. This little cottage in front of a lakeside path and you can walk to many excellent restaurants, as well as two grocery stores. You're on the lake, not on the street, so it was very quite. We were there at the end of September, so the weather was still nice, but most the tourists were gone. Rita was very welcoming. We had everything we needed. We needed two twin beds, and that's what they had. Everything was spotlessly clean, and it has its own pool which we didn't use, but would have loved too. We can't wait to go back!

We had a fantastic time staying in Dervio at Francesco’s place and exploring the towns surrounding lake Como. The place is perfect for so many reasons, the location is great, right on a small beach with amazing views and a walking path that takes you into town. It’s a short 7 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes to downtown area with restaurants. There are tons of old walkways that allow you to explore the area. We spent a couple days taking the train and ferry to Bellano, Veranna, and Bellagio (very happy to be in Dervio). We also have two small kids and found the place was great for families with crib, beds with guard rails, and a high chair, along with a playground that just out the front door. The gates were excellent for preventing kids from going to the road or to the lake. The best part was Francesco and his family, they are very warm and welcoming! We spent time with him, his father, aunt, and cousin and very much enjoyed getting to know them!

Beautiful place! Right inside a horse farm. The apartment is located on the second floor above the farm office. Two huge bedrooms and two very large bathrooms. New and clean washing machine. We traveled with our children and they were thrilled with the place. The owners of the property were very friendly and highly available by phone (whatapp) Great place!

If you want to disconnect from your routine and escape alone in nature, this place is perfect for you! It is surrounded by a beautiful forest with a view on the mountains. I would advise you to consider this mountain hut more as a shelter as you might spend most of your time outside (the interior is quite dark and not that clean). Stefano was really kind and responsive if we had any question! (And by the way, there is a super new compost toilet)

The location of the cottage was as wonderful as the pictures suggest, you're far enough from the waters edge to have a sprawling view, and close enough that nothing interrupted the view. Cinzia was very responsive and helpful and the added touches (pastries/wine) were much appreciated. Nesso is beautiful little spot, it can get reasonably busy because of the waterfall and the road from Como to Bellagio is rarely quiet (although we couldn't hear it from the bungalow). Be prepared for some hilly steps though, we clocked up 110 floors of climbing one day (for info, the Twin Towers were also 110 floors!). We found and Cinzia recommended a wonderful restaurant called Il Briisa which we would go back to in a heartbeat. The food, wine, service and ambience were all spot on. Overall, fantastic, it was a surprise break for my wife's 40th birthday and it delivered perfectly.

loved our stay in Cossogno. Elena was a very helpful host and lives close by so on hand if you needed anything. left us lovely gifts on arrival and departure. Great location for walking and also relaxing listening to village life go by on the balcony. Thank you for a lovely week. We will be back.

A star rating is useless for this gem in Northern Italy. It’s so far above a “stay” and The Farmhouse is an experience not to be missed by those who align with an authentic natural setting with uniqueness off the charts. And you’ll have to make the effort to enter the property. If effort is your entrance fee then look elsewhere. It’s more than worth the steep hike on a short trail to enter this palace of solitude. Ken is the ideal host and even offered up his garden for our salad.

Fantastic location, perfect for relaxing and unwinding from everyday work. You immediately feel comfortable in the apartment and nothing is missing. The apartment and furniture were also very clean. We will definitely come back

The house offers so much beauty that you can lose a bit of the desire to drive to explore the area. The outdoor spaces are spacious and equipped, we lived the house less thanks to the spring temperatures. Paola was super helpful, easily reachable, and offers lots of directions on things to do. Ideal for a getaway from the city. The house was comfortable and well-kept, there are books and games that children! Highly recommended. p.s. If you do not close the blinds from your bedroom you will see the woods!

My husband called Peter’s place our little Hobbit House! Loads of old world Swiss character. Peter isn’t joking about low doorways in places. We both bumped our heads (gently) til we got used to this charming home. We are 70 and 75 so we were very careful going up and down the small stairs. That would be my only consideration if your mobility is limited. Otherwise, if you want an authentic experience, book Peter’s home!

Dear Deborah, thank you for the great time in this beautiful cottage. I was able to enjoy the short break to the fullest. The view from the terrace is outstanding! 😊 I felt very comfortable and above all welcome from the beginning. This accommodation is absolutely recommended! The contact with the landlords was very friendly and warm from the beginning. No question remained unanswered. I got great tips for hikes and restaurants. In the immediate vicinity of the house start great hiking trails, among other things, to two waterfalls! Thank you for the great time! 🤗

My boyfriend and I stayed at Marina's place for three nights, and it was a nice surprise! I hadn't realized it wasn't right in Hone (although you can see from the map that it's out of the center, and in addition the lady also provided us with a document explaining the place and activities and restaurants nearby before our arrival), but I have to admit it was even better than expected! The cottage is located in a small village, surrounded by greenery and with a view of the mountains and Hone which is wonderful! The house is really nice and clean, and Mrs. Marina was kind and helpful the whole time! If you don't have a problem with stairs and walking a little mountain road (very quiet road) I highly recommend this accommodation!

We had a wonderful stay here! The bedrooms were very clean, each room had AC which is a luxury a lot of times and the bathrooms were spotless. Almost felt like a lux hotel but nice to have 3/4 rooms connect as it made us feel at home. Sergio was an amazing host, providing us with breakfast and cappuccinos daily. Everything was delicious we wish we could’ve have stayed longer! So we will definitely look at coming back!

We very much enjoyed our stay and the boat ride was amazing. Thank you for reserving that for us. I’d recommend the 2 hour boat tour with tour of the famous gardens for the Villa del Babianello. If we were to do it again we would bring more food to grill at the nice charcoal bbq provided as restaurants are a jaunt down the hill and we would often just want to stay in. Lovely host and lovely place. Thank you!
