Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Fondo Morte

We had a wonderful time with baby and dog. The house is great, with a nice terrace, lots of seating and fruit trees in the garden. It is in nature and we were all to ourselves. At the same time, the location is a very good starting point for beautiful excursions. We were received in a very hospitable, helpful and courteous manner.

The host was very friendly and welcoming. The view of the old city from the entry to the the property is stunning. The air conditioning worked great. Remember to use stairs when possible if you walk to the old city. Parking can be a challange. There is an underground parking garage that is a 5 minute walk. You need a small rental car for most of the street parking.

For us it was the perfect place to stay. Charming, well designed apartment with unbelievable views of Modica. The terrace was ideal to have a glass of wine in a quiet area overlooking the city. You will encounter more cats that people here, still, it only takes few minutes taking the stairs to be in the very center of the town. If we are lucky to come back, we will try to stay here again.

Studio apartment in the heart of the Vendicari reserve for those who want rest and relaxation. The road to reach the house is not the best, it is dirt and busy, but the place is worth it...

Very nice accommodation in the center of Raguse. The place is clean and neat, we had a nice time there! The apartment has everything you need for a pleasant stay, and the city of Ragusa is simply breathtaking and deserves that we linger there for several days! really great

We (6 adults, one toddler) had a fantastic time at the villa! It is very charming, with the perfect blend of historic character and modern amenities. It has everything you need for a great stay. The location is very peaceful and yet well connected. A large store selling groceries and other stuff you may need is a few minutes drive away, and there are restaurants and markets nearby in Pozzalo. We mostly cooked dinner at home since we loved eating outside on the veranda. We also enjoyed the infinity pool. The villa serves as an excellent base for day trips to places such as Siracusa, Modica, Villa Romana del Casale, Marzamemi, and Ragusa. William and Antonella are the most welcoming hosts, and they shared lots of great suggestions for things to do in the area. It was a pleasure meeting them, and we hope to visit again!

We had a wonderful stay at Modica in amazing Airbnb from Caterina! The communication was always easy and fast and even if she could not be there in person, Peppe welcomed us and helped us whenever there was a problem. The parking lot a few meters from the appartment was very convenient. The Airbnb itself was bigger then expected really clean and the bathroom in the cave is a real experience 😍 But the highlight is of course the big Terrasse of the appartment with the best!! view on modica!

We were happy to stay at Lorenzo's place. The place is really peaceful, quiet and restful. You can stroll quietly, choose the best place to settle in for an aperitif, having the pleasure of tasting the very good wine and sausage produced and offered by the owners. The house is also 15 minutes away from Comiso airport. Our only regret is that the weather didn't allow us to enjoy the beautiful pool which is a real invitation to swim! This is a very nice place that I would recommend!

If I could give this stay more than 5 stars I would - what a wonderful place - across the valley from Noto, in the most peaceful setting - the villa is fully equipped with a great stock of the essentials in the kitchen, perfect amenities in the bathroom, great outside area with the pool the perfect respite for those summer days. Cristiano gave us great recommendations for the area, and was so nice for our welcome and our farewell - we will be back.

The place is exactly what we were looking for. Quietness and peacefulness surrounded by Sicilian olive trees. The pool was great, the facilities were spot on and the bathroom and bed very comfortable. Also, the airco worked and pool filter worked perfectly. Last but not least, the recommendations Emanuela gave us were outstanding!

Must stay if you get the chance. Luca was extremely friendly and responsive - he created a chat group before check-in to help us manage the process. He also had a list of recommendations, which we used to guide our first night in the area! House is peaceful and tidy - all amenities were there as indicated. We had no problem finding it (recommend adding the location earlier as there is limited 4g in the area). Highly recommend.

The whole team were really helpful and responsive. The villa and especially the garden are fantastic, as is the town of Scicli. The sound proofing between the two bedrooms isn’t good which is just something to be aware of if you value your privacy. Overall I would definitely recommend this villa!

Fantastic villa equipped with all comforts with a super equipped island kitchen, evocative location where you can enjoy a breathtaking sunset in the green and well-kept spaces of the garden thanks to Concept in full relaxation. The house was clean and well organized. We stayed 10 days in 6 people "4 adults and 2 children" and each had their own spaces and in the middle of the stay they refreshed the sheets and towels. A special thank you goes to Sebastiano for the welcome and for the responsiveness and availability throughout the stay and again a thank you for the wonderful and well-accepted surprise of the exquisite welcome dinner and the Easter eggs of chocolate for the children,these are details and precautions that make no small difference. Just got back from an amazing stay in this gorgeous yurt and had to leave a review! The location is so unique and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The yurt itself is super spacious, and has everything you could possibly need. Outside, there’s a large decking area with an outdoor bar, kitchen, and dining space—all styled in a lovely beachy vibe with stunning views. It was the perfect spot to unwind with a glass of wine and watch the sun set. Plus, it’s just a short distance to a lovely quiet village with restaurants and bars—great for a little exploring and some fantastic meals out. Such a dreamy, tranquil escape—can’t recommend it enough!

We loved our stay at Giuseppe’s place. It was super cute and clean. The location was fantastic and so was the terrace. Would definitely stay again!

From the magnificent and spacious terrace, M.t k su which you can have breakfast in peace or go down to the street and have breakfast at Candiano's where enthusiasm and good humor prevail…. The apartment is very clean and very well organized and it is perfect for a great vacation.

The house is amazing. On 2 floors with 3 beds and 3 bathroom, new and clean. The architect and designer have done a terrific job. You also have a terrace with sunchairs, dining table and a bbq. Great location. 5-10 minutes walk from the main touristic road, overlooks a beautiful square and church, down you have two amazing cafes and one of the best restaurants in town (ristorante crocifisso). Great welcome from Silvia who provided flexibility on check-in and helped with a couple of bespoke requests. Family friendly - you can request cot and baby chair. Spaces work well for a family stay. Convenient, you can park your car just below the house, plenty of free parking underneath. The only things to note: - Steep stairs inside the house. You can close the doors if you have a baby. But if anyone has problems with mobility maybe not ideal - The church ring the bells a few times a day starting at 8am and ending at 8pm. Although the rooms are well shielded

The house is truly beautiful, surrounded by nature and with the most breathtaking 360 degree views. We encountered no noises in the roof cavity, we slept solidly during our 8 night stay. Being so remote is sometimes not without its challenges, firstly the road to the house is very off-road, which the listing states, with a 3 tonne Mercedes van it was challenging. The weight of the van combined with rain made it a treacherous drive & the gravel blew out one of our tyres. Just bad luck. The electricity is a little tricky to navigate. So avoid using the cooktop and oven at once, but once we worked out the eccentricities it felt like home. We had an issue with our van, it broke down in Scicli. Melissa was incredible, whilst not part of her job description, she leapt into action and found a mechanic to tow our van and get it repaired. The house is very well equipped with pantry basics, adequate toilet paper and cleaning products. Heating is great. A gem of a house and a 11 out of 10.

Anna’s place is beautiful and in pristine natural surroundings. She has designed the space thoughtfully and it’s well appointed. Her recommendations were also great. We enjoyed a relaxed vacation here and highly recommend.
