Vacation rentals in Fonaco

first I love his neighbors who checked us in. Cinzia was amazing. She not only showed us our place but took our kids to show us her farm. she also makes her own olive oil and gifted us with some! Wonderful Italian neighbors!! I contacted Rocky in advance and he provided me with specific recommendations for where we should go during a long drive we took. we went where he suggested and was not disappointed! Amazing quiet location with great near by wineries. would 100% recommend to everyone!

Great big space near within walking distance of all of Arezzos shops, eateries, and the train station. Very loud at night. Bathrooms were huge which was really nice, however shower drained slow, so it was easy to overflow the shower space. Hard to find for check in as the address leads you to a street but not the actual apartment, which is up a locked staircase. Had to message upon arrival to be let in after some confusion. Overall, good stay though!

La casa cuenta con una habitación, baño, living-cocina, y un pequeño balcón, todo privado. Todos los espacios son muy grandes. Estuvimos muy cómodos. Fuimos a principios de Enero y la casa estaba perfectamente calefaccionada. La casa estaba muy limpia, decorada, y con todos los detalles cuidados; se nota la dedicación de los anfitriones. Sábanas y toallas impecables. La cocina está perfectamente equipada. El baño perfecto también. La casa se encuentra aislada en un entorno precioso, relajante, con un lago privado, no contaminado por la ciudad. El jardín exterior es enorme y está muy bien cuidado (aún en invierno). Hay mesas y sillas, parrilla y lugar para estacionar el auto. En la propiedad, viven Ascensina y Elisabetta; constantemente se ocuparon de que nuestra estadía sea placentera. Fue muy agradable hablar con ellas, son muy simpáticas y una gran compañía. ¡Excelente Airbnb, super recomendado!

La casina è deliziosa, risistemata a nuovo e molto accogliente. Il panorama è splendido, i dintorni molto tranquilli, ideali per chi cerca pace e tranquillità ma in pochi minuti vuole anche visitare borghi straordinari e opere d’arte stupende!

Max’s place is beautiful like a dream. The accommodation is tastefully furnished with Tuscan charm. The interior is equipped with high quality cooking utensils and tablewares in the kitchen, comfortable bed, and sparkling clean bathroom. We enjoyed marveling at the beautiful wooden beam ceiling and terracotta tile floor. The exterior is elegant, well maintained, and exudes a pride in the care-taking of the property. Max and his wife Pamela were genuinely kind and helpful, and we enjoyed every interaction with them. It felt like talking with family. The location is convenient to explore central Tuscany. We made many day trips from Podere Il Belvedere su Cortona. Every time coming back to Max’s place felt like coming home!

Beautiful home in a more secluded area overlooking Lake Trasimeno. The trains and a highway are below but not invasive. The views are beautiful. The home was clean and tastefully updated but still clearly old and had a lot of character. We did not have a car and the train station is an hour walk away. There are a couple buses that pass through but not enough to be a reliable means of getting to and from the house. Even the taxi was busy and we had to be flexible on when we went to the train station but it worked out fine. We walked to and from Tuoro for groceries and visited La Puntabella for a great dinner with a view. It was an adventure and we enjoyed it despite our plan not being very good for this location. Sonia was patient and helpful in working out our means of travel and figuring out the bus schedule. Natolino reminded us of home and he is fun to watch and listen to.

The host Leo was lovely and very welcoming. He was very professional and efficient in all our correspondence and would provide me with recommendations for restaurants, locations to visit and tours. More importantly though he assisted with the planning of our two weeks. The wine tasting experience with Tomas was wonderful. He is very knowledgeable and hospitable and our family loved the wines but also the Special Family Dinner. The food and experience was amazing and one of the highlights of the trip. The villa is ideal for a family or group of ten people. It is on the vineyard, up a windy road, but was worth it for the outlook over Arezzo, day and night. It was a holiday we will treasure. We realised how lucky we were to manage to get together as a family and have a true Tuscan experience. Thank you to Leo and Tomas , and the others at the Villa, who made our time truly memorable.
