Family-friendly vacation rentals in Folly Beach

Pelican Watch is a beautiful place on Seabrook. The beach is a 2 minute walk from the backdoor with a great view from the back porch. You need a car to get to most restaurants but great places are 10-20 minutes away. Harris Teeter is well stocked nearby with great steaks and seafood as well as wine. I’d definitely stay here again.

Beautiful clean house in a great neighborhood. Great location, there is a lot to do and see within a short drive. Host was very welcoming and very responsive to our questions. Highly recommend this house.

We were in town for about 3 weeks and Robs place was perfect for us. The home itself was extremely clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was peaceful and safe and had a very nice pool as well. Felt totally comfortable going for a walk each day. The location was fantastic. We enjoyed Isle of Palms, Sullivans Island, Folly Beach, Daniel Island, Beach Walker at Kiawah, and downtown Charleston during our stay. All were within 30 min - an hour away with Kiawah being the furthest. Our main goal during our stay was to explore Summerville as a community which we did! After full days it was so nice to have Robs place to come back to and feel so comfortable. We really enjoyed time on the back screened lanai.

We had a great stay on Seabrook Island. Tom’s instructions were very detailed and clear, and the space was clean and comfortable. Would recommend!

This is a great place to stay. Unbelievable views and close to everything. Thomas is ready to contact and always very helpful. Would definitely recommend and we will be staying again.

The house was rented specifically for a golf weekend. It was very close proximity wise to both golf courses we played. Large pool was nice to have after a hot round of golf.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. Particularly with young children. Very family friendly! The pool was wonderful.

We were in town celebrating my brother’s wedding, and Joseph’s home was the perfect place to unwind and spend time with family. The pool area was beautiful! He was extremely responsive and the home was very comfortable and well equipped.

Nice, relaxing, accommodating, peaceful location with a very short walk to the beach, a great view of the fish jumping in the pond, the geese taking a breather and the herons perching in the trees behind the house. The house itself was very clean and comfortable with most everything provided, including a dog (or child) gate for if needed. Sam, the host, is an excellent communicator and doesn't leave any stones unturned including friendly reminders the day of check-in and the night before check-out. He also provided recommendations for food, entertainment, and activities in the immediate area. We had an amazing trip and would definitely recommend to others!!

It was with in walking distant to everything you’d need for a beach getaway. We didn’t need to use a car to drive anywhere the entire stay. Definitely bring my family back for another stay.

We had an absolute blast being here! The location was amazing. Could hear the beach and take steps to get there!!!! Close to restaurants and shopping!!! The porch was my favorite spot to sit when we were there

My friends and I just spent the weekend in Folly Beach. We loved the house! It's large and beautifully decorated, clean and well-maintained. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen and baths well-stocked with everything you need, i.e. coffee, dishwasher/laundry pods, hair dryers, beach towels, etc. It's literally steps to the beach and a nice walk into town. The expansive porches really make the house. Great views of the ocean. Highly recommend!

Kevin was a great host, he was super responsive and helpful prior to our trip, and during. He gave a great list of recommendations like restaurants and grocery stores, along with safety tips and advice. He was also flexible about an early check-in, and a late check-out. The place was perfect for a beach trip, just about a block or so from the beach entrance. I definitely recommend!

Our stay was perfect! The condo was exactly as pictured, very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Bed was cozy and there were more than enough towels and linens. The incredible views from every room and easy access to the beach was such a treat. The Wild Dunes neighborhood is gated and has a wonderful family/ community/safe feel. It truly was a wonderful stay! Thank you to the owner for all the care and attention to detail put into this home making it so comfortable!

Such a great spot, perfect for our babymoon getaway! Absolutely beautiful location, the beach is quite literally right in your backyard. Extremely quiet, private, and peaceful area. Very easy walk (0.3 ish miles) to coffee/breakfast in the morning at The Nest. We enjoyed the Ocean Room and Hege’s both for fantastic dinners. Freshfields shopping is also an easy drive for shops, groceries, and lunch spots. Ron was a wonderful host - we’d love to return!

We loved our stay! The house exceeded our expectations, it was tidy, spacious, and conveniently located. Both the beach and town were a 5-7 minute walk from the house. We would definitely book again next time we are planning a trip to Folly!

We loved our stay here so much we didn’t want to leave. It was the perfect location for us. Steps to the beach, a bike rack right out front to store bikes for the week, playground and nest market were right around the corner. Not so far into Kiawah that it takes forever to get off the island, but was still beautiful and peaceful. The kitchen airbnb had everything we needed and more. Bed was super comfortable. Can’t say enough good about it. We loved our stay and are already trying to plan our trip back.

This was my first staying at an AirBnB and I had a great experience here! Check in was very easy and all the pictures were accurate to what the house looked like. Everywhere my friends and I went were walking distance and the area felt very safe. Cornelius was very fast at responding when we had questions/issues! I will definitely recommend staying here if you are in the Charleston area and want the beach experience!

We had the best vacation! We loved the size of the condo for our family of 6. The view is so good even though you have to cross a small one way road(watch out people drive fast). Saw dolphins everyday. We didn't have to get in the car once. This is our new favorite beach!

Great place! It was super pretty and we had a great time. Jason was responsive and helpful and the instruments were so fun to play. The house is in a good location and close to everything in downtown Charleston while also being away from the noise of the city. Such a cozy house and we felt like we were at home staying here. If we ever visit Charleston again we’d love to come back!

This was such a find! A terrific balance of rustic charm and modern amenities, with beachy vibe plus new appliances, well-equipped kitchen -- and oh that beachfront deck and access! We'll be back soon -- and often.

Lynn and her husband Jay were the perfect hosts. Both were extremely prompt and supportive to our needs and questions. After meeting them, our group felt like we had known them for some time. Highly recommend this property, four blocks from the beach. Five blocks from restaurants and small bars. The house sits in a quiet residential area that is very safe. Thank you Lynn and Jay for a wonderful week!
