House vacation rentals in Foiano della Chiana

Stayed here last week for 5 days. On arrival we were met with a welcome basket of food a bottle of wine a bottle of homemade olive oil and also bottles of water on arrival. The pictures don’t do it justice it felt like a place out of a fairytale, the property is surrounded by tons of olive trees and greenery. If you want a quiet relaxing holiday this is place to go. Rosella was amazing with quick responses and extremely welcoming, we are definitely going again next year.

We had a brilliant week at Jakob and Margit’s house. Margit was so friendly and helpful (and gave us some wine and fresh eggs!). The views from the gardens are incredible and having the swimming pool was perfect. The local area has lots of great vineyards to visit and the house is close to Florence/Siena/Arezzo for day trips. It had everything we needed like a washing machine etc.

Lorenzo met us on the street to walk us to the villa and showed us everything with a very warm welcome! The views are breathtaking! We found the location to be an excellent base to visit all of the surrounding towns. Having Grazia Franchini (see the host’s guidebook) prepare and serve dinner for us in the villa after a fabulous day of Brunello wine tastings was such a treat! Would definitely return to the area and stay here again but next time will set aside a day just to relax by the pool!

This place is something else! The views, the pool, the houses, the interior - it’s something else. We stayed with our 18 month old and had such a happy time - surrounded by nature in such gorgeous accommodation and a kiddy kitchen / toys which were perfect for Otis. It’s simply beautiful and Martina is so helpful - highly recommend with a family or groups of friends for a zen and unique time. Close to lots of gorgeous places and Martina has wonderful recommendations. Only watch out is the 2km dirt track road to get to the location but it’s 100% worth it and quite fun! Enjoy - we can’t wait to come back :)

Wygodny apartament z przepięknym widokiem na jezioro (przeszklona ściana w salonie). Urokliwe łóżko na antresoli. Duży, zadbany basen. Bardzo sympatyczny i pomocny gospodarz. Dom położony na styku Toskanii i Umbrii, tuż obok Perugia, Asyz, Cortona. Dobry jako baza wypadowa do zwiedzania.

Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful Airbnb which was thoughtfully restored to reflect the history of the area. You won’t want to leave. We explored Certaldo Alto and Montefioralle- both amazing sites. The pool area was perfection and we couldn’t get enough of the landscape! Couldn’t stayed a week!!!

Wir haben eine Woche in diesem Haus verbracht und waren rundum zufrieden. Die Lage ist ruhig und idyllisch, mit einem weiten Blick über die toskanische Landschaft – besonders vom Infinity Pool aus ein echtes Highlight. Der Pool ist sehr gepflegt und bietet genug Platz zum Schwimmen und Entspannen. Das Haus ist sauber, gut ausgestattet und geschmackvoll eingerichtet – modern. Küche, Badezimmer und Schlafzimmer waren in einwandfreiem Zustand. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich, gut erreichbar und hat bei Fragen schnell reagiert. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos, alle wichtigen Infos wurden vorab zur Verfügung gestellt. Gerne jederzeit wieder!

Bianca is one of the best hosts I ever encountered. She is very friendly, welcoming and social. She is very passionate about her house and guests. She treated us like friends and I think we already became friends for life. Her house is very special, magical, clean and beautiful. Its very spacious felt right at home and had everything we needed. Its private and peaceful yet walking distance from Grassina town down the hill, around 10 minutes walk. The town has everything you need from restaurants to bars, Farmacia, little boutique shops and beauty salons. The location is perfect and outside the city but only 20-30 minutes from Florence. I am defiantly coming back to this place.

Apartmán nás skutočne očaril, izby pekné, čisté s klimatizáciou, štýlové, v obývačke veľká Tv, kuchyňa so všetkým čo tu má byť. Samotný "rezort" bol na kopci s krásnymi výhľadmi, obrovská záhrada, bazén, všetko štýlové také Toskánske, okolie prenádherné, pohoda, kľud,pokoj, všetko čo tu potrebujete tak aj nájdete. Ako vravia Taliani, je to tu " Tutto bene"

We had a wonderful time staying with Andrea. He was very welcoming and always available to help. He assisted us with great recommendations and with booking restaurants and wineries. The tower itself is a truly unique place, and the peaceful surroundings created the perfect atmosphere for our stay.

This 500 year old house is ideally situated in Tuscany and the Chianti region. It is a perfect place for day trips to other towns, for wine, tasting excursions, and for visiting Florence. The idyllic setting gives you a sense of country life in Italy, and the views from the patio and house are stunning. There are spectacular wineries within 5 to 10 minutes of the house. We found the house very comfortable and enjoyed our stay very very much. Rose and Pier couldn’t have been more helpful in planning our stay and excursions. We found through them fabulous restaurants, and wineries that we would not have discovered on our own. They were also incredibly responsive when we had questions. Our only confusion about the house was that the listing showed three bathrooms, but one was in the laundry room in a separate building . Just something to know. Thank you to Rose for a lovely vacation ! It was the perfect place to explore Tuscany from!

Para valorar esta propiedad, hay que empezar por el ANFITRIÓN, un profesional en toda regla. Desde el minuto 0 de la reserva, hasta la salida; siempre atento, muy amable y muy profesional. Es un placer conocer gente seria y esto la da un valor a la aplicación. La beach house, es un paraíso en Italia. Fácil acceso, cuidado al detalle, paz, naturaleza, comodidad. Nuestro viaje era en familia con nuestros dos caniches y creo que fueron los que más disfrutaron de la propiedad, verlos correr y saltar por las zonas verdes de la propiedad y convivir con muchas aves, conejos no tiene precio. Nuestra hija disfrutó su estancia estudiando y con la paz y tranquilidad del lugar, no le costó nada concentrarse. Nosotros en cambio, hicimos turismo por la zona, todo muy cerca y bien comunicado por carretera. Es una propiedad muy cuidada, segura y sobretodo disfrutar de sus puesta de sol, sentado en una tumbona, disfrutando de un buen vino (de la zona) es una experiencia irrepetible. Gracias Maurizio.

Wir waren 4 Tage vor Ort und es war einfach traumhaft. Die Anreise war problemlos und Flavia hat uns sehr herzlich vor Ort empfangen. Nach einem kurzen Rundgang durchs Haus und einer kurzen Einweisung konnte der Urlaub beginnen. Ein Zettel mit Restaurant Empfehlungen und Ausflugszielen lag auf dem Tisch bereit. Nach einem kurzen Gewitter hatten wir Stromausfall, aber Flavia war sofort erreichbar und innerhalb 5min hatten wir auch wieder Strom. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Ich kann diese Unterkunft für jeden empfehlen, der sich nach Ruhe sehnt und die Natur genießen möchte. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We had a wonderful week-long visit. I wish we had stayed longer. The villa is beautiful. It is spacious, clean, with modern amenities and appliances but also has some very nice antique furniture and decor. The outdoor patio is really amazing, with views of distant Tuscan hills and farms, olive and cypress trees - a great place to eat and relax outdoors. Nearby Arezzo is a great place to visit. There are many interested museums, churches and places to visit in the older section of the town (including the Basilica di San Francesco with frescoes by Piero della Francesca), but there are also more modern parts of town with shops and restaurants, and ample parking. The villa is also within easy driving distance of many other surrounding towns (such as Cortona) and places to visit. Our hosts were super helpful and friendly, and we especially enjoyed the olive oil that is provided and made from the trees growing on the property. We would definitely stay here again.

Where to begin? We had the most glorious stay at Fernando’s wonderful home. Genuinely, best holiday we have ever had and we will definitely be returning! Firstly, Fernando and his family were incredibly kind and hospitable! Fernando checked us in, gave us an overview of the wonderful villa (which is even more stunning in person!) and had left olive oil, pasta, cheese, wine etc. All the necessities! He treated us to a tour of the property on the penultimate evening, and his mother made us a traditional Tuscan dinner of meats, cheese, etc. The aperitif was delicious! Fernando’s lovely wife also spoiled us with homemade limoncello. Wow! We did not expect this and were pleasantly surprised! I hope we can repay the favour somehow someday. The property itself is stunning. You can tell that Fernando and his family invest a lot of love and energy into the place. If you’re looking for a break in paradise, go here! Thank you Fernando and family!

Phenomenal. Beautiful villa with unbelievable views. Spacious two bedroom and third big loft area. Great kitchen, well equipped. Lovely outdoor spaces and pool. Up a long dirt road but our car had no problem. Michela and Marco were so organized, meeting us to show us and providing lots of recommendations. So peaceful!

Wij verbleven met onze vriendengroep in het huis van Nicola en het was fantastisch! Prachtig huis, precies zoals op de foto’s. Mooi uitzicht en een heerlijke rustige omgeving. De chef kok en de pizza party zijn echt een aanrader, onwijs van genoten! Wij raden dit huis zeker aan voor vriendengroepen/familie’s!! :)

Die Unterkunft von Andrea hat genau dem entsprochen, was wir durch das Inserat erwartet hatten. Eine herrliche Aussicht vom Pavillon am Pool, ruhige Umgebung in einem wunderschönen kleinen Bergdorf, Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu erreichen (Siena, Montalcino, Montepulciano, etc.). Sinalunga ist mit dem Auto in ca. 5-10 Minuten Entfernung und hat alles, was man braucht, incl. guter Restaurants und leckerer Eisdiele. Das Haus hat ein einmaliges Flair, von Andrea über Jahre hinweg in einem alten Kloster modernes Ambiente hinzugefügt. Man merkt, dass sein Hobby, Möbel selbst zu bauen und seine Hingabe, das Haus perfekt in sich abzustimmen hier harmonisch umgesetzt wurde. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft jedem, der entspannte Stunden am Pool mit einem wunderbaren Ausblick geniessen will.

This place is definitely a piece of Tuscany Italy. it will always hold a special place in my wife's and my heart with how beautiful and amazing the house was and the town it is located in. it seemed very well located, close to hot springs, multiple other cities, beautiful country side with horse back riding, world class winery's, ect. She is a great host and I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anybody looking for a one of a kind experience in Italy.

Io e la mia ragazza abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso in questa struttura insieme ai nostri due cani. L’alloggio è perfetto per chi viaggia con animali: c’è un ampio spazio esterno dove i nostri cani hanno potuto correre e giocare liberamente in totale sicurezza. La piscina è grande e ben tenuta, ideale per rilassarsi durante le giornate di sole. I proprietari sono stati estremamente gentili e disponibili, sempre pronti ad aiutarci con il sorriso. Si percepisce che ci tengono davvero al benessere degli ospiti (a due e a quattro zampe!).

Wat een droomhuis op een droomlocatie! We werden met veel warmte en liefde ontvangen door de lieve mama van Lorenzo. Ze gaf ons een rondleiding in het prachtige huis. Het interieur is fantastisch mooi gedaan door haar, we hielden van elke centimeter. Binnen was het ook lekker fris. Alle voorzieningen waren aanwezig. De ijskast zat vol met lekker eten en elke dag bracht ze verse gebakjes mee! We hebben nogal kunnen eten. Dat we hondjes bijhadden was geen enkel probleem, wat voor ons een hele geruststelling was. Het uitzicht aan het zwembad was werkelijk magisch. Er worden verschillende huisjes op het domein verhuurd, maar je hebt van niemand last. Er waren ook overal struiken en planten zodat je je privacy hebt. Heel het domein is met veel smaak aangekleed. Het zwembad wordt gedeeld, maar het is werkelijk een zeer groot zwembad. ‘s Avonds zie je overal vuurvliegjes en hoor je een uil. Je zit helemaal in de natuur en toch vlakbij alles. We kunnen het ten zeerste aanbevelen aan iedereen!!

Denyse's place was perfect for our 6 day vacation in Cortona. We wanted a restful spot with easy access for day trips. For 2 couples it was wonderful with one large bedroom and bath on different floors, up to date kitchen and best of all -- the rooftop terrace. Since the place is next to the city wall -- we had sweeping views of the Tuscan valley and the historic buildings. Easy walking distance to plazas and restaurants (be prepared for some uphill). Someone from Together in Tuscany was usually at the Tourist Info center so it was wonderful to stop there and speak to Isabella if we had any questions or issues. . She was very responsive on What's App too. Denyse always responded promptly before and during our visit as well. They also arranged a walking tour of Cortona for us. This place was a gem and I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a peaceful and restorative vacation.

Beautiful home in a more secluded area overlooking Lake Trasimeno. The trains and a highway are below but not invasive. The views are beautiful. The home was clean and tastefully updated but still clearly old and had a lot of character. We did not have a car and the train station is an hour walk away. There are a couple buses that pass through but not enough to be a reliable means of getting to and from the house. Even the taxi was busy and we had to be flexible on when we went to the train station but it worked out fine. We walked to and from Tuoro for groceries and visited La Puntabella for a great dinner with a view. It was an adventure and we enjoyed it despite our plan not being very good for this location. Sonia was patient and helpful in working out our means of travel and figuring out the bus schedule. Natolino reminded us of home and he is fun to watch and listen to.

Really nice tranquil spot just outside of Montepulciano. Was a great place to getaway for a few days. Hosts were communicative and responsive. The only thing I’ll note is to ensure that your check in instructions match the address listed on AirBnB. We were given an address via message that was 2.5 hours from the actual spot—luckily we used the original address listed on AirBnB, but this could have easily been a disaster.
