The Silver Heron (Savannah)

Our B&B is one of the oldest monumental buildings in the heart of the atmospheric Middelburg. Until recently, The Silver Heron was known as a Bed & Breakfast Adrichem and Scherpenseel. Starting March 29, the new owners Wilma and Marcel offer the same services and facilities. Savannah is tastefully decorated with a nice bed and private plumbing. The luxury breakfast is served in the unique atmospheric vaulted basement. Possibly bookable together with our other double room Forsyth.

Our lovely B&B can be found 300 m from the boulevard. Directly on the boulevard you will find the only southern beach in the Netherlands, beaches where ships pass very close! The B&B on the ground floor has 1 bedroom(electrically adjustable bed), toilet, shower, bath furniture, kitchen with fridge, TV with cable channels. And a private garden with a cozy seat(evening sun).

Excellent place to stay during our cycle tour in the Netherlands. Sheltered place to store bikes and a comfortable room. Breakfast at a local restaurant (included in price) was a nice touch too. Marja's place is highly recommended!

We arrived very late at 10 pm, which was no problem after we called her, Marja then showed us the bike shed, which was great. Overall, everything we needed was there, there were even glasses, cups, bowls and coffee maker and a fridge we could use. We had a great stay overall:)

We had a wonderful time at Elianne's place! Located wonderfully located in a picturesque village. The room is nice and optimally equipped. It leaves nothing to be desired. The property is very child-friendly! There were opportunities to play everywhere and the rooms and the dining room are very lovingly furnished for children. Our two children felt very comfortable! The breakfast is very lovingly and deliciously prepared! It is very fresh and nicely decorated. Rarely have we had such a good breakfast on the go! Elianne was always very friendly, helpful and accommodating! We will definitely be back! Thank you for the time.

What a wonderful place. Nostalgic street. A particularly beautiful garden, birds whistling, there is peace and quiet. Cottage is clean, full of comforts and tastefully decorated. Good beds. Breakfast was fantastic, we enjoyed it. Dear hostess, who gives you a welcome feeling. So recommended!
