House vacation rentals in Florissant

We came for a graduation for our daughter. She and her husband and four kids stayed with us. Deborah went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! There were graduation decorations and even bubbles for the kids to help Mom celebrate! She left little surprises all over the house for our grandkids and they were so entertained by such a well stocked home! The pool was way nicer than expected and we had so much fun in it!! You can tell Deborah takes pride in this home and in providing a memorable experience! This was actually a last minute booking because our original place was canceled and I feel it was meant to be. This was a better weekend because of where we stayed!

Absolutely perfect stay! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we could possibly need. The host, Marie, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, providing helpful recommendations. Marie made Christmas truly special for our family. The communication was seamless, and check-in/out was a breeze. The location was ideal – peaceful yet close to everything we wanted to explore. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily stay here again. Highly recommend!

The house was amazing and clean. The pool area was peaceful after a long day of work. It was conveniently located to where we were working and were able to walk back and forth. The host was responsive to any questions and requests. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

This place was just what we needed for a quick trip back "home." Location was great. Nice and quiet and private. Easy access to highways, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Matt was very responsive to any and all questions. How was very clean and had everything we needed. Basement games were fun for kids as well:) We're actually coming back next month and staying at one of his other properties. We're sure we won't be disappointed!:)

Great location, all the amenities you could ask for, loved the bath tub and hot tub! Super clean and comfy! Our family loved it! It was the perfect get away after a busy day in the city!

The Villa was lovely for our 2 night stay. The apartment was very clean and the cute decor was a fun touch. Beds were comfortable, bathroom well stocked with extras. And of course I can't skip mentioning the outdoor pool/spa space, which was the icing on the cake. The hosts live on the property and were around, but stayed out of the way and gave us plenty of space. Many wineries are just a few miles away. This is a great space for a few friends or couples to stay.

We vacationed in many condos and homes. Mostly off an alternative site. This place was in the tops. Great neighborhood the Hills. Fantastic restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. Would stay here again if ever in the area again.

Rebecca’s place was great! It was in a nice quiet area with a beautiful scene. We felt right at home. I would come back in a heart beat.

The space was beautifully decorated and gave a peaceful vibe throughout. I appreciate the quick response from Aaron whenever I had a question. I definitely want to stay here again!

Such a beautiful home in a great location! My friends and I enjoyed cooking dinner in the spacious kitchen then eating in the beautiful dining room. We had everything that we needed. The home was so peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely recommend.

Loved!! Had an amazing time, the home was nice and the beds were all supper comfy, nice neighborhood aswell. Definitely will come back!

Brandon’s place was perfect for our stay. Quiet and had all the amenities we needed. Bed was comfy, layout was just right for the two of us and the pup. The outdoor spaces are great and the record player is an awesome addition!

Beautiful restoration of a historic building! It was cozy and well-appointed, but uncluttered. Location was perfect for our needs (exploring the area for a possible relocation from another state). In a historic home, there aren’t as many power outlets as some newer home but the host(s) has strategically placed extension cords in a few locations which was really handy (eg. plugging in cell phone chargers by the bed). Great place, great host, great location, and great experience. Highly recommended!

Can’t say enough good things about Rich’s place. It was all that we’d hoped for and more. We were in town to celebrate family birthdays. Ordinarily we’d have booked restaurants but with Rich’s place we didn’t need to and it was more like celebrating at home, the toddlers free to play. We didn’t intend to use the game room, but there was a tornado warning one day and we all went downstairs to be safe. Quickly, all the games were in use and people were lining up to be next. The beds were comfortable. The lighting next to two of them cleverly adjustable. There was a LOT of tech throughout with instructions on how to use it that went over my (old) head, but we did appreciate the charging station. We were traveling with a 1- yr-old and the room for her Pack & Play (which they provided, along with a monitor) was dark & quiet. The living room couch was very comfortable and the view of the neighborhood through the trees a great way to start the day. Rich was a great host. Darlene too.

After the Airbnb, where I usually stay in STL, was unavailable. I continued to search until I came across this GEM. Lucky for me, growing up in University City and North County, I found this Airbnb to be my go-to if the other one isn't available. The host left nothing to chance. The entire home was clean! I am very picky about bathrooms and bedding, but both exceeded my expectations. There were complimentary snacks, coffee, and bathroom items in case you forgot a toothbrush, etc. My nieces and granddaughter took advantage of the game room, which is located on the lower level. The washer and dryer are newer models. There are plaques of words of affirmation on the walls in all of the rooms. My granddaughter especially liked the one in the kitchen that stated, Rule #1-No complaining :) I would reserve this Airbnb again, and I'm looking forward to revisiting my hometown, STL!

I had a wonderful experience staying at Gifted By Design’s place. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. Check-in was smooth, and the host was responsive and helpful throughout my stay. The location was great close to downtown and some family we had lived really close by. I really appreciated the cozy decor, well-stocked kitchen, my kids really loved the basement tv area. We are from Texas and we don’t have basements and they thought the couch and tv was their own private batcave. Would absolutely stay here again!

This is the second time that we've stayed at Dan's place and I know it won't be the last. They are always so responsive and proactive with giving us our check-in information about our stay and making sure we know to reach out if we need anything but we never do because the place is so perfect! It just feels like home as soon as you arrive. It is one of the top places we've ever stayed and everything is exactly as described. Don't miss out on this gem.

Our sojourn at Finn’s Inn was delightful. The house was very clean, beautifully renovated and well decorated and provided everything we needed. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood and the quaint and historically interesting town of Elsah. Staying Sunday through Tuesday nights, we had no problems with parking.

The place was exactly as described and a very pleasant stay. There is some road noise but not a distraction to the peace and quiet. We saw numerous barges going by on the river. Very nice furnishings. Beds were comfortable. Plush towels. You have stairs to climb so do not rent if you have a heart problem. Restaurants were walkable. The Grafton Oyster Bar was delicious. We ate breakfast at the lodge in Pere Marquette State Park (could not find any other restaurant close by for breakfast) and there is no delivery for food in town. Overall we would most definitely come again if in the area.

Had another great stay at this Airbnb. I have even recommended it to my family for their visits back to Alton.
