Great place to stay with beautiful view and a great space outside for the kids to play

Absolutely loved our stay at Cliff House with Jacquline. Beautiful location, swimming pool was such a bonus for the children, they loved it! The grounds were fantastic, such a lot to explore, our children loved the chickens and climbing frame and the private wood was great for hide and seek. Jacquline was such a great, friendly host and gave us great advice about visiting York. She even arranged an Easter egg hunt for our children. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend.

Wonderful place to relax with friends. Really enjoyed the terrace and the views. Comfortable beds. A very attractive holiday park estate with a great feel. So close to the beaches and beach cafe. Richard very responsive and helpful. A perfect week.

The place was lovely, a short walk to the lovely beach was the main draw. A good location to explore nearby towns by car. The additional of the on site swimming pool was great. The house the comfortable and great space for the 4 of us. Andree was very friendly and knew if we needed anything we could get in touch. Thanks.

Great location! perfect for beach, dog walks and bus to Scarborough /Filey etc. if not driving. Caravan had everything we needed including dishwasher/air fryer/microwave and plenty of dishes/cups/glasses/ cutlery etc. Kim was a very responsive host. Situated near shop playground and pool it’s in ideal spot on the site. Car can be parked right across from caravan so easy to walk on grass to/from caravan.

Had a lovely stay here. Home is well equipped and cosy, a great location with beautiful views. Loved having my morning coffee by the river. The kids are already asking to come back next year.

Great host and excellent communication both prior to and on arrival day. Couldn’t ask for any more from Victoria. House is stunning with an abundance of locations to visit around you. The Bay complex is kept really clean. Ability to use swimming pool / sauna / steam room is an added bonus but busy when I visited (but was half term week). Short walk to beach but steep hill to be mindful of for anyone with disabilities. Beach is stunning also. Lovely little Beach Cafe short drive away also with excellent food / views. You won’t be disappointed if booking this accommodation.

Second stay here and the perfect spot for a family weekend away. The outside space was great and the kids played in the garden most of the weekend, nice and handy for nipping into Filey too. Not much in the village itself but this wasn’t an issue for us as we just wanted a base for family time. A few toy boxes of toys there too which was great and saved us taking a load .

Thanks Flo & Phil for a great long weekend at Wood Cottage. In a very rural village it was so quiet and peaceful with a nice space outdoors to enjoy the sunny weather and sunsets. Wood Cottage has a beautiful and cosy interior and was perfect to enjoy with our two little children. Helpful baby items were provided and my toddler loved the dolls house and all the toys and jigsaws. We enjoyed exploring Castle Howard and Scampston gardens which are both short drives away. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing weekend in the county! Thanns.

We booked Rachel's home for 3 nights for a family weekend, 12 of us in total. The house is beautiful with some really nice added touches such as games for the kids and a welcome box on arrival. The rooms were spacious with comfy beds! The dining table was great for all the adults to sit and chat, and fit us all round for meals. Location was fantastic, close to everything. Rachel was a fab host, available for any of our questions and was able to give us an early check in and later check out. Couldnt fault the home at all, sparkly clean with everything we needed for our stay.

Amazing stay! Ben was a really attentive host who was helpful and communicative. The house was spotless and very well equipped. The rooms were spacious and the sofa was so comfy!!! We were in Scarborough for a gig at the open air theatre and it was in the perfect position for the venue. We hope to come back again.

Just got back from stopping in the house. The house was in a lovely private location, very peaceful and relaxing. A short walk from both sea front and town with lots of restaurants, cafes and bars. Plenty of amenities such as Tesco, coop and other local shops. The house was a lovely home away from home with plenty of space and the host was very helpful if needed with fast communication. Would definitely stop again 10/10

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A great base for walking and exploring the fabulous East Yorkshire coast. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and a genuine home from home. Would certainly stay again.

I’ve stayed at this lovely, quaint cottage several times now, and it never disappoints. It’s always extremely comfortable, homely, and spotlessly clean — the perfect place to unwind and recharge. The host is consistently friendly and helpful, making each stay feel very welcoming. I always look forward to coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing break.

This cottage is up a private road overlooking beautiful scenery. There are two small bedrooms. Each has a TV and a hanging rail for clothes plus one small bedside cabinet .The kitchen was small but adequate .The sitting area was pleasant. All the equipment was new and the bed we used was very comfortable.The beds zipped together or could be rearranged as singles. The bedding was Egyptian cotton and cool in the hot weather. The shower and bathroom were of a high standard. It was easy to drive into Scarborough and the nearby village of Scalby was very pleasant with recommendations from Peter for eating.Access to the North York moors and walking country is nearby. Fabulous weekend stay - perfect for our needs with ample space and amenities. The house had everything you could need plus some. Immaculately clean and furnished with extra little touches. Visited last weekend. We were welcomed upon arrival and were greeted by both John and Tricia. Parking was safe and secure. Lodge set in a beautiful peaceful location, John gave us a thorough tour and explained in depth about all facilities. The lodge contained everything you could possibly need including a lovely welcome pack and a bottle of Chilled Cava. Hosts were knowledgeable about the area and a pleasure to meet, the visit felt friendly from the start. There are lots of places to visit nearby and it is central to most tourist attractions. John and Tricia couldn’t do enough even offering to come and collect us if we got stranded anywhere on our walk. Visit made even better by the resident miniature horses, dogs and chicken who joined us outside for a glass of cava. Thanks for a really enjoyable stay. It's obvious by the little details that John and Tricia have put everything into getting things just right for their guests. Highly recommended, see you again. Many thanks Ted and Lynn

This place was perfect for us. 7 of us went down to have a nice long weekend and the place didn't disappoint. The house was in the perfect area and quiet and had stuff for everyone. I would highly recommend people to stay at this property if they have a group of friends or a large family, will be definitely coming back later on in the year or make a yearly trip. when we first visited the owners were helpful and pointed us to the correct places for the shops, supplies and places to go. The hot tub was an added bonus and the beds were so comfy we didn't want to get up.

Absolutely brilliant, the accommodation was superb. Comfortable, clean, and have all we needed. Location was ideal for us and suited our plans. our host was readily available but respectful of our privacy. Highly recommend and a perfect introduction to ABNB.

Found this place due to a last minute cancellation and Thomas was extremely helpful in helping us settle in after we had booked this listing and we felt right at home, he responds very quickly and laid everything out for us before we even got to the location!
