Exactly as advertised. Comfortable as a base to explore the area. Sufficient to make simple breakfasts and coffee. A welcome addition would be a couch or comfortable chair.

Smeraldo Holiday Vacation Home

The accommodation is very good! Large, bright, very clean and well-equipped! Sea view 😍 The village is charming, with a very nice little restaurant (and gluten-free! La Tore restaurant). We were delighted with our stay at Henri's. Self check in and check out. Easy parking at the foot of the house.

villa glauca just 100 meters from the sea....

AndreaRating, 5 stars23 months ago
Spacious and clean apartment with very comfortable parking inside the property. Outdoor space in the garden reserved for the apartment with tables, chairs for eating and comfortable deckchairs with sea view. Donato and his mother were very kind, I asked to be able to check in early and there were no problems. Great location to reach the beach on foot in just a few minutes. Super Recommended.

Home Sweet Home Porto di Maratea

Lance & MandyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Maratera is a hilly area with beautiful scenery. Barbara’s home has an incredible view of Christ the Redeemer and birdsong is heard through the window. The home is a tricky to access but Barbara provided very clear instructions which made it easy, and although the driveway is steep and windy we didn’t find it too difficult to drive because you can take your time as it seems no one else uses it. There is a beautiful large yard. The spiral staircase wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with mobility problems. Barbara provided a lot of local recommendations and left some delicious food in the home. We had an issue with the hot water but Barbara was very responsive. We would recommend Barbara’s home.

Beautiful apartment with a large terrace with a lovely view to the sea and mountains. Around the house is a garden with, among other things, many citrus trees which smell very nice.

VILLA ADELITA a Maratea

LouieRating, 5 stars22 months ago
Fantastic place - matches pictures exactly. The view is one of the best we've seen in the whole area, makes you regret going out to dinner instead of sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine. The access to the sea is directly underneath and fairly easy - you have to climb over a few rocks at the bottom, but it's fun and sand-free. Water is crystal clear and snorkeling is nice on either side, lots of boats stop in the area to take in the beauty. The house itself is excellent, full of well-working AC units. Cleaned exceptionally well, there are lots of small touches that make it very charming, an excellent patio. Kitchen very functional and pretty. The garage below is large and handy with a car. The car access to the neighborhood is pretty narrow/steep, fine with some practice, but could be tricky for Americans. If renting a car, recommend at least a moderately powerful model to make the exit smoother. Host was wonderful and responsive.

Sleeping on a sailboat

FrankRating, 5 stars21 months ago
In a word wonderful. We were the worst guests, late to checkin and with large suitcases but thanks to Alessia’s patience and her dad, Claudio’s graciousness our checkin went smoothly. We could not have been better taken care of. Although you can walk to the dock where the boat is the best way is to have Claudio motor you and bags in his dingy. The boat is as advertised, very clean and everything in working order. The port area is both lively with boaters and diners but also quiet at night. It was a warm night for us but the AC kept us very comfortable. All in all it was a fun experience and highly recommended!

Spring vacation home

PierpaoloRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Accommodation a little old but maybe that's why it's even more interesting, we had a great time in June. Not very close to the sea but a splendid view of it, and in any case the numerous beaches of the coast are easily reached. 5 minutes' walk from the historic center, where you will find shops, bars and restaurants
