Family-friendly vacation rentals in Felton

The house was perfect for our family. The private fenced backyard, hot tub and dining areas made the space twice the size. That big beautiful maple was a treat to sit under and enjoy all the birds flying overhead to the lagoon nearby. The location is epic! We loved walking to twin lakes and blacks beaches with the dog. Early mornings with low tide gave us plenty of beach to run around on. The farmers market on Sunday is also just a walk away. Highly recommend !

Had a lovely stay at Annette and Fred’s place - the location was great, the house was fully stocked and the hosts were extremely responsive when we had questions. Having a hot tub and gas fireplaces were an added bonus for spending the evenings admiring the views.

What a GEM this house is!!! You will not be disappointed staying at Shari's home! From the great communication & responsive host ... to the welcoming cookies... to the private adorable backyard and extensive amenities ... it has it ALL! Great location all around and just a short walk to the beach too! We will definitely be back!

The cottage was a perfect size and quiet. Erin was helpful and quickly responded to questions.

Joyce’s place was clean and had a really great location. We thought we were right on the Cliff so that was kind of a bummer to have a house in front of our ocean view. But the place was really nice, and very clean! The space was really cool and had great decoration. Beds were comfortable. Kids were happy. We loved playing in the hot tub and in the garden in the backyard.

This property is just like being at home....It is clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. Julia is a wonderful host that goes up and beyond to make your stay as wonderful as possible. We truly enjoyed every minute of our visit, and for the first time in a long time, renting houses for our vacations...We just didn't want to leave! We look forward to getting back to Julia's!

Loved sitting and reading in the peaceful yard. The weather was perfect too. This trip was for our 40th Anniversary and decided to have dinner at Shadowbrook. This is where we celebrated our first anniversary. We have been to Santa Cruz many times, but staying in this area was new to us and explored things we had never done before. Also, enjoyed walking our dog in the neighborhood. All was Good!

We had a great stay this past weekend. The house was nicely updated and wonderfully equipped for anything you might need for a beach vacation. It was very thoughtfully decorated and comfortable. They even provided dog bowls, treats and waste bags. The outdoor area had ample seating and was a great space for a dog sniffari and the humans to hang out. It’s a short walk to the beach and Harbor Cafe which has a great brunch menu. Would gladly stay here again.

Jane’s place was a peaceful quaint spot for our weekend getaway. There’s a beautiful sunroof above the bed which gave great natural light, and the whole place had everything we needed and more, especially the kitchen, despite it size – even though we didn’t cook, in the case of a stay in night, we knew Jane’s kitchen was well equipped, same with the bathroom. Jane was very communicative throughout the whole weekend, with clear instructions on checking in and checking out. She was also very flexible with the check-in time, which we really appreciated. Overall, Jane’s space was a great spot to get away for the weekend and get out of town. Thanks again, Jane!

I had a most wonderful stay at this peaceful and lovely hideaway. The place was ideal and so convenient—to the beach, to Santa Cruz's sights, and walkable spaces—but as perfect as it was, Ron and Nikki were the perfect hosts. Helpful ahead of check-in, responsive and full of great suggestions once I was in, and when I needed to help out a relative, extremely understanding and accommodating. Can't wait to come back!

Absolutely enjoyed! The home was so welcoming and cozy, a picturesque beach cottage. The outdoor space was so beautiful and peaceful. Great location that is quiet and close proximity to the beach and trails. Guliz was very friendly and responsive. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into the home. Would absolutely recommend!

We had a wonderful short getaway at Sue’s place! The condo is just steps from the beach, pool, and jacuzzi. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was relaxing, and the ocean breeze was very refreshing. It was exactly what we needed to reset and recharge. My stay in Amy's home was relaxing, peaceful and comfortable. I loved the location - nested against the hills and so close to shops/restaurants. I loved walking the hills in the neighborhood and coming back to a quiet and comfortable space. You are in the backyard of the owners but they are friendly and respectful and the setting is idyllic.

Fantastic location and home for a family get-away. Much to see and do on site and in the local area. The home is very comfortable and welcoming with all the amenities you might need and more. Can’t wait to book again!

Himani was super sweet! She made sure she was available when we arrived to give us the keys then gave us a run down of the place. My husband and I stayed with our friend and her fiancé so it was perfect as there were 2 private bedrooms, each with a private entrance outside. Each couple had our own half restroom and shared a shower, so if you don’t mind that, this place is perfect! Super close to Capitola and seascape resort where we attended a wedding.

It was a great stay. We loved our time there and would definitely visit again.

Amazing property & setting, absolutely loved the pool, sport court, etc. Hosts were communicative & easy, will certainly be back for another warm-weather escape.

Great place! Short walk to the beach, walk to restaurants, updated bathrooms, floors etc, beautiful, modern decor, clean, dazzling ocean view from all the windows. Little touches of care, like sunscreen in the cabinet, ketchup in the fridge, and plenty of interesting books in the night stand, really put this place over the top! Will book again!
