This is a tremendous, modern house, spotlessly clean and airy, in a quiet neighborhood with great views out into the harbor. Everything is new, and everything works perfectly. Restaurants (including the lovely Cafe MorMor) are a short drive away. Internet was exceptionally fast, and if you want it, you can pay to use the hot tub beside the house. It’s a superb property and a super value, especially for a small to medium size group.

Dejlig bolig, kort afstand til stranden, rolige omgivelser. Vi var 6 voksne, bedsteforældre med børn, svigerbørn og 4 børnebørn, særdeles velegnet.

Veldig bra hus, som hadde sentrumsnær beliggenhet og alt som vi hadde håpet på. Vil absolutt anbefale å leie dette huset. Vi var superfornøyde!! Vennlig hilsen Henning Lillegård

I definitely recommend it! Ketty is a very communicative host, check-in was very smooth, the house looked exactly as described. Great location if you have your own car - a great base for exploring the Faroe Islands.

God og rummelig bolig med op til 7 værelser til en stor familie. Imødekommende vært. Tak for opholdet :)

Hyggeligt hjemligt hus, fredfylde omgivelser og bedst af alt, at kunne tage hunden med. Turið var hurtig, at svare tilbage på evt. spørgsmål Vi ønsker at komme tilbage engang

L’alloggio è nuovo e perfetto, di ottimo gusto, dotato di ogni comfort. Si trova in un quartiere residenziale al limitare della città, in posizione strategica sia per visitare Tronshavn che come punto di partenza per il resto dell’isola. Silenzioso e con ristoranti e supermercato vicinissimi, parcheggio davanti all’ingresso. Un posto davvero ineccepibile, piacevole da vivere anche all’interno, magari preparando una cena in casa e rilassandosi sul divano godendosi la vista. Rani un ottimo padrone di casa, presente e preciso nelle indicazioni. Un peccato ripartire :) consigliatissimo

This place is absolutely lovely - cozy historic cabin vibes but with all the modern amenities you need. Fantastic location too!

It's a really nice house near the harbour. Rustic in the good way. No fancy stuff. But everything you need to cook, relax and slow your life rythm. I felt quickly like at home. It's quite far from the "main" island (the one with torshavn). You will need to take a 2 hours ferry and then drive 10 minutes to get there. But Suduroy really deserve a few days. Nice hikes and beautiful sceneries.

Très beau logement correspondant exactement à ce que nous désirions. Je le recommande vivement, cadre très agréable, bien situé avec une vue très dégagée et beaucoup de lumière, décoration at ameublement modernes et élégants, aucune nuisance sonore, séjour de qualité.

Vi havde en fantastisk weekend i Stórastova på Skúvoy. Det er et virkelig dejligt og hyggeligt hus som har alt🙂 der er god vejledning og det er nemt at finde. Stórastova kan kraftigt anbefaldes til andre som kunne tænke sig at overnatte på Skúvoy👍 Vh Bárđur Kjeld

We had a lovely stay! Lovely property and what was so nice was that it felt like a home. Slept so well really comfortable beds and nattering in the hot tub at the end of the day was lovely! hosts were great and really communicative.

The view from Steinbjorn’s home is quite possibly the most beautiful vista I have experienced anywhere in the World. They say location is everything, and I don’t believe my experience of the Faroe Islands would have been as good had I stayed anywhere else. The solitude of Elduvík was perfect for my solo mountain biking trip, the pink sunsets at Midnight incredible, and the hot tub after a few hours on the bike the icing on the cake. The lounge and dining room are spacious and well appointed, the kitchen clean and well provisioned. I had the pleasure of meeting Steinbjorn when I arrived at the house. He is a friendly chap and is clearly proud of his home. Communication with him both prior to, and during my trip was superb, lots of recommendations for places to visit, and information regarding the village. Steinbjorn was also very attentive to any queries I had whilst at the house. I could not have hoped for a better experience.
